BEWARE!!! Go to a mom and pop salon before this schemey, corporate salon. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of empathy and respect for Military families and unexpected pregnancies. I recently signed a 10 month contract as it was my cheapest option for an unlimited levels 1-3 tanning exp. Becoming a member is always the cheapest option of course, that means constant income for the company. A month later I got a positive pregnancy test from my OB. I went in to Tan your hide to ask what my options were. They wanted a medical document stating that i was pregnant which is my own personal business and I am not comfortable giving that to them. Second, what does it matter? If I am not using the service, I should not have to pay. Period. Situations occur in life. I have worked for multiple big name salons in the Midwest and they were NEVER operated in this way. Clients were treated as human beings and we were to be understanding of real life, important situations. I was treated with no respect as the lady behind the counter could care less about clients or their personal issues. She said my only option was to freeze the account but my payments would still be due and i could then use the time after my pregnancy. I am pregnant. This is a reason for cancellation. LOL. Honey, my husband is enlisted, we move a lot, and he's about to be deployed. I will be in another state throughout his deployment while I am pregnant. The lady said I could only cancel if we showed her permanent change of station orders, which first off that is my own personal business and second, what about him being deployed?! Many wives choose to go home through the deployment, especially if you're pregnant. I refuse to pay for a service that I have not used and will not be able to use. I also was NOT informed of all of this prior to signing which is my fault for not reading the fine print. But I mean come on ladies. This is a tanning salon contract. Im not applying for a damn loan or buying a car. I don't care who you are. We should treat our clients with empathy and respect because they are providing the income to run the business. This is a poorly ran establishment not only for my situation but others that I have read and how unorganized my entire exp. was with them from the start. They will never get another dime from me or anyone that I come into contact with. You can not run a business without happy cliental. read more

I was a member back in 2011. I tried to cancel or suspend my membership when I lost my job. They said "No, you're under contract." I got behind on payments and was not allowed to use the facility, so they continued to bill me although I could not tan. We tried to cancel or suspend our contract again when my sons mother became pregnant, once again, even with a Dr.'s note we received a "No, you're under contract." After paying for a membership that we couldn't even use, I reluctantly had to cancel my card so I was not being charged $40 for absolutely nothing. I recently checked my credit report only to find that they are claiming I owe them over $800 for facilities that we were unable to use. Long story short, unless you absolutely know there will be nothing unexpected that would affect your membership, don't sign up and end up in the hole they've placed me. Also while discussing this with friends, I discovered another case where a girl was diagnosed with a skin disorder and could no longer tan, once again, even with a Dr.'s note, she was given the same treatment I received. Not to mention the way I was talked down to by every "customer service" representative I spoke to. I called a shop to see if I could speak to anyone in billing today, and was simply given the number to the collections office. read more

today was my first time ever tanning! I'm a little wary of tanning beds, but luckily they actually have a spray tan machine, without anyone having to personally spray you! , it was incredibly easy to navigate. I have autism so things like this can be a little confusing sometimes and I was definitely surprised by how straightforward the process was! The girls there were so incredibly sweet, and helped me, feel very excited to start my self care journey. Red light therapy was also great! If you're looking for a place with a super lowkey environment with positive vibes, I can definitely recommend! Also, if you're concerned about pricing, there's really no need. You can just simply walk in, let them know what services you're interested... And they can build you a package around that! I can say for sure, it's a lot more affordable than I thought. I mean the monthly cost is what I would have assumed just a single spray tan to be! Oh, and one more thing... If you've ever tried self tanner at home and came out with patchy or orange results, the spray tan booth completely changes the game. The girls actually helped me pick an undertone for my tan would most flatter me! I'm seriously so happy with the results. And I couldn't recommend this place more! read more

Super clean tanning experience. The beds are super comfy and high end. With facial tanners you can adjust!! Which is perfect for me because the rest of my body is kinda dark except my face so it usually burns, but not at tan your hide!! The beds also have a radios in them so you can enjoy some music without bringing your phone in the booth and putting on headphones (so annoying)! The ladies who work there are super friendly and non judge mental when I go in without my makeup on. They know all there is to tanning and help me when I can't decide how long to go and what level to choose. Huge selection of tanning lotion/ tinglers. Highly recommend going here if your trying to get your maximum bronze on! read more

I've had a great experience here at this location, purchased the week pass to get my base tan going. The staff were polite and attentive, the rooms and beds clean and well tended. Practically threw up in my mouth, I was just immediately so uncomfortable and grossed out. Will be finding somewhere else to go to, expeditiously!! EDIT: Thank you for the additional information that wasn't known to me when I made the original comment. I've never had a bad experience at the business in the past, and I reacted in the immediate shock of the encounter. Over the years, TWB had become a space where I felt safe, particularly because my experiences there had always been with women. I've had traumatic experiences in the past that have led me to intentionally seek out women-only spaces whenever possible, which is why this interaction affected me so strongly. With the additional context, I recognize that my original characterization was stronger than warranted and understand now that the questions were part of the business's standard process. In hindsight, I think there was a misunderstanding on both sides of the encounter. I appreciate the clarification and have reconsidered my initial assessment, which is reflected in my updated review.
