    So far, so good. I've been using the red light therapy and tanning bed and love it. I'll be upgrading memberships soon.

    Been going here for years. Always clean, friendly. Biggest complaint was they weren't open Sundays. They are now. Would recommend.

    Brenda the owner is Great!! The place is kept clean the bulbs are changed regularly and the deals are fair..Been going here for 10 years+..

    Just got my first airbrush tan-- LOVE it. Very even, natural color. Super sweet staff and clean facility.

    Bear with me, this is long -- I'm enraged. If I could give 0 stars I would. I just left the…read morefacility, within 5 minutes before closing. I got there at 7:35 and Summer was the one to "help" me. She was being very short when I asked about the prices and after a few pricing questions, she disclosed that we only had 20 minutes and that I wouldn't be able to tan because I'd be "messing up with her time" and that "she wanted to go home". Then I asked her "would you please let me get a tan? We still have 20 minutes, the paperwork shouldn't take that long" and then she got loud with me, called me rude for demanding for a tan. I then told her "you're reading too much into it, I literally just asked you a question and you started being rude and loud". Then she protested "I'm not being rude! We will do the paperwork and I'll see how much time we have, how does that sound?" After I replied with "that's good" she mumbled "Jesus Christ". After all the 5 sheets of paper I had to initial (because that's a lot of paperwork and that will take too long) she told me "okay, I have to clean the Versa and you'll just gonna be able to do a base shade, no add ons" that was at 0745. "Can you please just add a bronzer? I know that the Versa gives an orange tint without a bronzer and I don't want that." She refused and said "no. That's all I can do for now. I'm already gonna spend a long time closing the store because of this." I then started checking other facilities times and yes, they all close at 8pm. So I said "yeah, this is not gonna work for me. I'll just come back tomorrow. What's your name?" She didn't respond, she didn't even look at me. I persisted, maybe she didn't hear me: "Hey, what's your name?" She again, didn't respond and kept messing with the papers on the table. Then I asked a third and last time "Whats your name? Are you gonna ignore me?" She then looks at me and said: "I'm not gonna give you my name because I know you're gonna try to get me in trouble!" Fed up, I then told her to cancel the contract. She then complied, said she'd do that and yelled at me "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, you better leave right now before I call the cops!!" So then I brought my cellphone camera up and told her to repeat it, she calmed her tone down, told me she wasn't yelling. I asked for my paperwork back, and she refused a bunch of times. I sinsisted and said again I'd be cancelling the contract, so finally she gives me my contract paperwork. I then left. I would love to post this video. What a joke of an employee. P.S.: I ended up getting her name confirmed here on the reviews because of the call she took while "helping" me. Remember to be kind folks! Especially in a customer service job! I've NEVER in my life have been treated so poorly in any type of salon.

    This place seemed great at first. After taking my fingerprint to check-in, and being forced to sign…read morelengthy contracts with misleading start dates, I was sent a bill for $500 1 month after I signed up saying I missed a payment so the whole year was due immediately. I paid 6 weeks in advance at sign up, so no payment was due 2 weeks later, and I even called to resolve the matter. I still wanted to tan and use my services, and would gladly pay the monthly rate at the correct start date, just 30 days later. I told them I hadn't used the facility once since the billing issue and would start a new contract moving forward or even honor the original, but I needed access to tan and get the services I paid for. I was put on hold for the owner and she came on briefly and didn't listen or care, as I explained I only missed 1 month, probably $40, but my papers showed I paid that at sign up and I would honor my amount monthly for the year. As a company, they only needed to forget the month in question and start the contract the next month and even tag an extra on the back end. Someone at TYH fudged the paperwork, and only $40 was in question. The "owner" of the facility at university village was not kind or empathetic at all, and I honestly think the math and logic were way above her abilities. No money would have been lost or unpaid, the contract upheld, and I could actually use the services that they wanted payment for. After waiting on hold (a long time), while this lady tried to understand a paying customer wanting to honor a contract, I was finally connected to someone else....from a collection agency! They had no idea what the situation was, and demanded $480 in order to resolve the debt, restore my credit, etc...but had no direct contact with the salon, the owners, or any ability to reinstate the services in my contract if actually paid. It was "pay in full now for a year of services, even though it's only 60 days since your contract started, and no services were ever used." Not happening...ever ever. Tan Your Hide wants your fingerprint (are retinal scans next?), your social security number and makes you sign lengthy contracts so they can continue to pull this scam. Who would ever pay $400-600 to a tanning salon without using a single tan? I never paid them a dime, and it eventually just went away, they lost money hiring collections and refusing to talk to a customer and work things out. TYH is garbage.
