Yikes. Not a fan. I came in for the first time to ask about membership pricing and spray tan…read moreservices and was informed that they can not offer that service for another few weeks because their equipment broke- understandable. I was greeted by a friendly employee who informed me of this. She was super sweet! She even went out of her way to ask the manager or owner for a more definite timeframe of when to expect future services. Y'all.... the manager tho..... The manager asked her to have me go to her office where she was filing her nails and had continued to do so while talking to me. I was so surprised that 1) she didn't come out to the waiting room where I was and 2) Had me walk to her and stand in her doorway to watch her self groom It was so unprofessional and made me feel as though i was interrupting her empty tanning salon. Anyways, her mgr went on to inform me of the same thing I was told previously, but in a less friendly tone of course. She began to share where she receives her product, and then began to question where I used to tan and tested my knowledge of bulbs. Then as I began to walk out of the business doors, she shouts out another place, which I appreciate. But come on... this was my first experience all within just a few minutes of having walked in. ‍

The very first time I went to her, I loved the results, but after that, there was always an issue. Sometimes she would leave purple patches in my hair, other times it would come out yellow. For my last appointment, I messaged her to book again, and she told me that she no longer offers bleach and tone services. Honestly, after everything, I wasn't surprised.

I booked a loc maintenance appointment for 2:00 PM on a Friday. Around 12:23 PM, my stylist texted…read moresaying she was very behind and asked if I could come at 4:00 PM instead. I agreed. I had taken the day off and drove from Barstow to Victorville specifically for this appointment. When I arrived for the new 4:00 PM time, she was still working on the previous client. At 4:21 PM, I was told she would call/text me when I could come inside, so I waited in my car. By 5:07 PM, I still hadn't been called in. At that point, it had been over an hour since the rescheduled time and more than three hours since my original appointment. I texted that I couldn't wait any longer and requested my $54 deposit back. She called me at 5:08 PM saying she had just finished and I could either come inside or receive a refund. I chose the refund because I had already waited long enough. To her credit, she was understanding and canceled the appointment through StyleSeat. I understand appointments can run behind, but this was excessive. I had already accommodated a two-hour delay, drove from Barstow, and then waited another hour after the rescheduled time. For a $180 service, I expected better scheduling and communication. I can't speak on the quality of her work because I never received the service. This review is strictly about the scheduling and overall experience. I appreciate that I was given the option of a refund, but losing several hours of my day after making the drive was very disappointing.
