I requested a regular pedicure with black French tips and no gel. After the service was completed, I noticed that the black tips appeared faded and looked more gray than black. Since I was unhappy with the finished result, I politely asked if my nails could simply be painted completely black instead. At that point, a male employee who identified himself as the owner became involved and told me I would have to pay an additional charge because I should have said something before the technician finished. However, I explained that I could not have known I was unhappy with the final appearance until I was able to see the completed result. Rather than trying to resolve the situation professionally, the conversation became argumentative and uncomfortable. When I stated that I would not be returning to the salon, his response was, "Good, don't come back." I understand that businesses have policies regarding additional services or changes, and I respect that. My concern is not simply about being asked to pay an additional charge; it is about the way the situation was handled. As a customer, I believe concerns should be addressed respectfully and professionally, especially by someone representing themselves as the owner. When my set was finished I noticed the time and it took almost 3 hours for a set that didn't look hybrid at all. It looked more like a classic set. I didn't have time to sit there more hours and have her fix it so I paid and left. Hours later I got to my vacation destination and combed out my lashes only to see they were flaky and falling out in chunks. I was beyond livid when I noticed my lashes falling off when it hadn't even been 24 hours since getting them done. I messaged Liz and heard no response yet and I requested my money back. This is so unacceptable and I'm very disappointed with the service considering the high class salon this is. This ruined my vacation and I will not be returning.
