I knew it was a lie because I know the owner of a EWC in another city far away, and I have friends that work at EWC's. Once I explained that I knew what they were saying was untrue the esthetician told me that the only reason places do that was because they need business. Well...that's what you should've said instead of telling a bold face lie on a whole company by saying EWC never gives free Brazilians . I told the lady that did my wax I'd never set foot in that establishment again, and it's a shame because it's in the perfect spot right next to Ulta and I'm frequently over there. I always feel so well taken care of and that there is a genuine quality here you can't find in many places if at all anymore. As an older mom now, I also like to indulge in things like Botox, I feel much better getting this done from a doctor than a pop up type Botox environment. If something was to go wrong or to have a reaction, a doctor is much more capable in that situation. Highly recommend if you need dermatology care in the High Desert area.

They just kept working while Stephanie told them... we're 2 minutes behind. Like a fool, I waited. At 12:15 I was out in a pedicure chair...1 hr 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment. At 1:00 haven't started yet, water is cold. At 1:15 Stephanie's father did a piss poor, half assed pedicure... meaning no leg massage, hot stones were like warm, paraffin Luke warm. At 2 Jaden started on my nails. He removed 1 nail and then went to another customer...someone who came in after me . The father went to do the nails of a lady who just arrived. I asked Jaden if Stephanie was going to do my nails. His answer...yeah, maybe. I got up to leave and was charged $51. For the half assed pedicure and asked if I'd like to reschedule. REALLY!!! Mind you I have always tipped each person $20.00...yes, even for a $51. Pedicure. FKN DIDN'T HAPPEN TODAY!! Today they lost a little customer. Be forewarned...the only employees are the 2 owners and a mom and a dad. When I left I called WORLD spa. They got me right in and did a fantastic job. They have a new client...and yes, I tipped $20.

I reached out to the salon that Priscilla run The Pink Tulip out of to see if she was still there…read moreand how to make an appointment, they gave me the phone number and told me to text her. I was happy to hear that she went back to texting since last year she had me sign up for an app (vagaro app) to make appointments and it was difficult to find her and she also did not have her availability set up, which is actually one of the reasons why I never returned. The reason for the one star this time is because I texted the number in the morning inquiring about getting a wax. She now has an assistant that helps her with her appointments. She asked me when was the last time I shaved/waxed and let her know that it had been a week. (In my mind it was obvious that I would be wanting to schedule something out for 5 weeks). She told me "oh ok unfortunately we need 4-6 weeks of hair growth" and then in a separate text asked me if I wanted to schedule something out for another 5 weeks. I let her know that I was hoping to do that and then asked what days of the week is Priscilla in since I am only available on weekends. Maybe I asked too many questions (I asked 3) but they never replied back to me. It was later in the afternoon when I replied to their last text (5:30pm) so if I had to wait till the next day to hear back I wasn't going to be upset. This conversation happened on 10/23 and it is now 11/1 and I have yet to hear back. Priscilla is the only one who I have found that does waxing in the high desert so its a little disappointing when I cant even access her work. While her pricing can seem a little high, she is totally worth it and you can tell that she wants her work to be good. One of the reasons why I wanted to go back to her! But we will see if I ever hear back.

I was beyond livid when I noticed my lashes falling off when it hadn't even been 24 hours since getting them done. I messaged Liz and heard no response yet and I requested my money back. This is so unacceptable and I'm very disappointed with the service considering the high class salon this is. This ruined my vacation and I will not be returning. These girls went different times to use the gift cards and they are being told I paid with a credit card so now they have to pay the credit card fee also on a gift card. I have never heard that before. Last time I checked a gift certificate was like cash value. On top of that getting a package comes with gel polish and then trying to charge an extra $15 for gel is crazy. This use to be one of my favorite nail shops that's why I got the gift certificates here. But if you're going to treat the people that get gift certificates bad I won't be going back that's not ok.
