I was happy to hear that she went back to texting since last year she had me sign up for an app (vagaro app) to make appointments and it was difficult to find her and she also did not have her availability set up, which is actually one of the reasons why I never returned. The reason for the one star this time is because I texted the number in the morning inquiring about getting a wax. She now has an assistant that helps her with her appointments. She asked me when was the last time I shaved/waxed and let her know that it had been a week. (In my mind it was obvious that I would be wanting to schedule something out for 5 weeks). She told me "oh ok unfortunately we need 4-6 weeks of hair growth" and then in a separate text asked me if I wanted to schedule something out for another 5 weeks. I let her know that I was hoping to do that and then asked what days of the week is Priscilla in since I am only available on weekends. Maybe I asked too many questions (I asked 3) but they never replied back to me. It was later in the afternoon when I replied to their last text (5:30pm) so if I had to wait till the next day to hear back I wasn't going to be upset. This conversation happened on 10/23 and it is now 11/1 and I have yet to hear back. Priscilla is the only one who I have found that does waxing in the high desert so its a little disappointing when I cant even access her work. While her pricing can seem a little high, she is totally worth it and you can tell that she wants her work to be good. One of the reasons why I wanted to go back to her! But we will see if I ever hear back.

I've gotten my lashes done at other places before and never had any issues I know the proper care and the precautions I need to take in order for my lashes to last. However this was a last minute appointment because I had a flight to catch later that night. I wanted to get a hybrid set for my vacation and I knew the appointment would be around 2 hours. When my set was finished I noticed the time and it took almost 3 hours for a set that didn't look hybrid at all. It looked more like a classic set. I didn't have time to sit there more hours and have her fix it so I paid and left. Hours later I got to my vacation destination and combed out my lashes only to see they were flaky and falling out in chunks. I was beyond livid when I noticed my lashes falling off when it hadn't even been 24 hours since getting them done. I messaged Liz and heard no response yet and I requested my money back. This is so unacceptable and I'm very disappointed with the service considering the high class salon this is. This ruined my vacation and I will not be returning. I hope I hear back from Liz soon and get my refund.

As a result, I developed a severe infection and have now had to make TWO urgent care visits and pay for antibiotics because of it. What makes this even more concerning is that cutting ingrown toenails is outside the scope of practice for nail technicians in California. This should never have been done during a routine pedicure. Proper sanitation, safety, and client consent should always come first. I would strongly encourage others to be cautious and advocate for themselves during services here. I trusted this salon with my health and unfortunately ended up dealing with pain, swelling, infection, and medical bills afterward.
