Plumbing repair by Steves plumbing. Water is leaking from my…read moreshower so i contacted steves plumbing and they showed up promptly, while checking the fixture the tech checked the water pressure which was over 200 psi. He said i need to change the prv valve before any repairs could be done as the water pressure should be around 60psi. I have changed the prv in the past, about 4/5 years ago so i told him to go ahead and change it as im pressed for time havjng to work and prepare for the incoming typhoon. He didnt have a valve so needed to go to city mill to get one which they had in stock. The total repair came out to $4100, of which and i'll break it down cost wise. Costs gotten at a consumer pricing from Home Depot Now mind you this is the retail pricing for an normal consumer, not professional pricing (what you or i would pay if going into the store) Prv valve $89 5' length 3/4" copper pipe $50 Fittings $50 Ball valve shut off $ 19 Total of parts $208 $4100 minus the parts needed $208 $3892 labor 18 minutes to complete the repair, say 30 to make it easy $7784 in labor charge per hour I guess i should have purchased a solderless crimper and done it myself for a savings of $3900 Work was done professionally and quickly as promised and the area cleaned up before completion but the labor cost is whats bugging me- guess i got into the wrong profession

Yoshi's Plumbing was the only company that told me that there was nothing wrong with MY system, but the problem was caused by one of my neighbors. *They were doing renovations, and when it was done, my problem went away. Months later, I had a toilet issue, and Yoshi's responded quickly and was able to provide service at a reasonable price. The technician asked me to send pictures of my toilet. With the pictures, he was able to tell me what the problem was and also give me an estimate. (Other companies charge just for the technicial to take a look). When you call other businesses, you need to give them your information and they check their disbatch, and call you later to set an appointment. (takes time). With Yoshi's you call and you talk directly with the service provider. I feel he was honest and straightforward. Highly recommend...... Shop local...

Prompt, solid and clean work product. And completed ahead of schedule, what more do you want? I was looking to replace a toilet in a Waikiki rental and although others replied faster.., Nolan was definitely the quickest to give me a quote, which was also one of the most reasonable. He worked within my limited schedule. The other companies wanted a million pieces of personal information before giving me any numbers. It was a painful process actually. And now, even though they weren't selected for the work, I'm getting spam from them! Ugh. Just go with Nolan and you'll save time, money and stress.

When our toilet was unable to flush,…read morewe didn't know who to call since our favorite longtime plumbing company was no longer in business. Then we remembered seeing 535 Plumbing trucks often parked downstairs and at other buildings nearby, and gave them a call. They asked my husband for some photos, gave him an estimate, and sent someone over that afternoon. The plumber was running late but kept us informed about when he would be arriving. Once he got here, he was very courteous, professional, and did what he had to do. He answered our questions clearly in layman's terms for us to understand. A second plumber stopped by briefly to help him. We paid what was originally quoted to us. We were very satisfied with the quality of work done and now have a new favorite go-to plumbing company to call on!

I've used them in the past many times at multiple properties, referred them to my family and…read morethey've also used them. Never had a problem until this time. I had them come out and do a camera inspection. The report says everything is all good. Nothing abnormal. Had a second plumber come out. Basically says that I need to completely redo my pipes because the plumbing is extremely old and falling apart with pictures and video After contacting 535 plumbing they asked what could they do to make it right. I told them that I'd like 50% back. They came back and said after careful inspection we cannot give you back 50% so I'm not really sure what they were going to do for me. Their process is extremely broken because at the bottom of the receipt and work order. It says that the line manager has the final say but I never got a call or email from the line manager saying that the initial report was 100% wrong. All I got was an estimate for replumbing the entire drains but nothing that said that the report was erroneous after having three other plumbers come out, which they all agreed the pipes needed to be replaced. I didn't get a video or pictures of the pipe. Only a small paragraph that said nothing abnormal noticed. I'm not a plumber that's why I'm paying plumbing companies to come out and do the work and I trust that they're going to do their best so I cannot be the one to verify their work. But but in the end I really need my plumbing to work and not feel like I'm getting taken advantage of. Eventually the owner caught wind of this and called me up. Credited me back $100 but I wish I had seen the reviews that this company has gotten in the past few months. I don't know if something changed there but I'm glad it's not just me that's dealing with this
