Our main drain line to the sewer system had a clog as we noticed our downstairs toilet bubbling and leaking a little from its base while doing laundry. Called Performance Plumping and spoke to Blane. They were busy but he said they would get to us by the end of the day as he understood the urgency. He texted an arrival time of 2-4pm but would try to get to us earlier if possible. Another text from Blane around 11:30 let us know that technicians were on their way. The technicians arrived and immediately got to work. They had a probe with a camera and spotted the clog and utilized a drain rooter to clear a clog that was way downstream. It took a while to clear the clog so the other technician replaced our toilet's old wax seal gasket with a newer neoprene one. The service was excellent. Very courteous, professional, and efficient. Very professional from my initial inquiry a few days ago. I saw their van at a neighbors house and decided to give them a call. Rates at 4.9 / 5.0. One person gave them a 1 but everyone else gave them 5/5. The tech was very personable, professional and knowledgeable. Which explains why I am a 4 time repeat customer because the professionalism, practice of aloha with every service experience and interaction, quality work at the highest level and consistently a great value with every job. When businesses commit to responding to you, I would expect nothing less. Has the world changed where companies can pick and choose what jobs they do, what happens to us "left overs" people who need services but just can't get any because they pick and choose the more lucrative jobs. I contacted them approx 3-4 months ago. They requested pictures of what I needed done. I waited a few weeks to be contacted by the owner. He explained they had a $125 fee to "traveling time". I live down the road but he said charge is still same even if I live near or far. I said I would think about it. Several weeks passed I decided I would pay the fee and called owner back. Left message then waited few weeks for a call back. Asked him to come look at job I needed done, he said he'd look at his schedule and let me know when he could come. I think it's been approx 4 weeks (give or take) and still no callback. Why do they advertise "excellent" services when they give none? A simple courtesy call to say you don't want my business would be the professional thing to do. read more
