Saturday, April 23rd, 830am After reading favorable reviews, I requested a quote and received what I assume is an automated reply stating to call or text to schedule an appointment. I called and Cole's prompt response - without asking me what I needed - was "can't do it. I don't have any openings until May 2nd." For the past 3 days whenever we tried doing laundry, we would have a backup which lead to water flooding between the base of the toilets (in 2 different bathrooms) and the flooring. Cole's crew showed up on time! That's number #1 on punctuality! They showed up, evaluated, and consulted with me the work to be performed. They got to work, covered my fairly new vinyl plank floors. The location of my water heater to be replaced was challenging,, but didn't stop them from moving forward. Cole showed up, checked it out, and had a ball valve installed to isolate it from my main water shut off valve. They did a leak and pressure check, hooked up the power and we were in good shape! I submitted quote requests to many different vendors using the Yelp feature because the one we were previously using was about six years past it's recommended usage time. Of them all, Cole was the only one that was both patient and thorough in gathering the information he needed to provide both his professional recommendations and an accurate quote. Cole noted he was available to do the job the following week, and estimated the job to take about two hours, from 8:30am to 10:30am - perfect! The day of the job, Cole calls an hour ahead to confirm he was on his way. About 15 minutes before 8:30, he calls again to let me know that he's running behind because he had to pick up parts. While this act may seem inconsequential to others, to me it spoke volumes about how much Cole values his clients. About ten minutes past 8:30, Cole shows up and goes to work. I will admit that the job took a smidge longer to complete than what was originally quoted. If I'm to be completely honest however, I am grateful that Cole took his time to provide top notch work instead of half-assing it due to time constraints. After the installation was completed, we were provided with a thorough explanation of all the work done, and Cole took the time to walk us through the operation and features of the water heater, including answering questions that we had. CAREFUL BOOKING THESE GUYS. I contacted Cole, he sent Macaiah to replace my 16 year water heater. DO NOT look into his eyes. I'm straight as hell, but damnit he got some nice eyes. Thank goodness my wife wasn't home or else I would have told her lock herself in the house and stay away from him. You've been warned. Keep your wife, daughters, mother-in-laws, etc away. We noticed our water bill was crazy high and realized we had a leak. I reached out to Cole on the recommendation of a friend. He asked a few questions and was able to almost exactly pinpoint the source of the leak on the phone. He was able to come in person later that day and already had all the parts needed to do the repair with him. The leak was underground so it took some time and trust in Cole that he was looking the the right area, but sure enough he was spot on. He removed the rusted out galvanized pipe and replaced with copper. I couldn't be happier with the timely service or quality of the work. I will happily use him again if I ever need a plumber. P.S. He also was very personable and he happily explained what he was doing and why he was doing it throughout the job. So I called someone that was recommended (Do It right Plumbing) specifically asking for a fella named Cole (who I later found out is the owner) and of note - he actually takes all the phone calls which is shocking in todays business culture. First off, he shows up on time, and he is friendly and well trained / equipped - that was the first thing I noticed squared away to the max basically for a plumbing company they've got some highly articulate, intelligent people working there of note his sidekick (apparently the "plumber apprentice of the year" for the entire island) was strong as an ox & did all the extremely heavy lifting like the entire kitchen basically on the guys back, it was amazing. I can tell why these guys have the best reputation. Looks like the whole company are former military guys and when I got the bill I thought that I was ripping them off as they did a lot of work & spent a lotta time at my place and took good care of me.
