I'm definitely not a "light Swedish massage" kind of person, I want to actually feel those knots getting worked out, and that's exactly what I got. She really knew what she was doing! The person at the front desk was very kind and accommodating - even though I was almost 1/2 hour early. I was fine waiting and they still took me early. LuLu was fantastic. The oils and hot towels at the end were amazing - will continue to make Annies a part of my wellness routine! This is a sweet little hidden gem that I am so happy a friend of mine referred me to!

It's not a fancy place, but the people here are very nice, the price is very fair and the massage has always been therapeutic and beneficial. The rooms are also completely private, with real walls and doors that completely closes. No curtains or drape partitions here. The place is very clean and the room is nicely lit. The cost of a treatment here is a lot less than seeing the physical therapist, and the benefits are as good or better. This was my first massage with Ms Eva, as she just started working. She was very nice and patient with me and has very strong hands. I've never been disappointed here. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. You will feel great after an hour. There is also a new lady named YuYu who just started. I cannot comment on her massage as I have yet to receive on from her. She was very pleasant and welcoming when I met her though.

However, yesterday I received a facial from Michelle at My Red Bow and it was EVEN BETTER. Of course, my eyes were closed the entire time so I don't know exactly what it is that Michelle does to make the experience so inexpressibly amazing but everything she does feels so intentional... - The way she places and removes the steamed towels feels like an experience all in its own. - The way she gently massages your face, neck, arms, and hands feels magical. - The products she uses have the most lovely and relaxing smells without seeming overwhelming. - The atmosphere, sounds, lighting and even how quietly she moves about the room makes you want to stay there for hours. And of course, my face looked and felt amazing afterwards. As long as I live in this area, Michelle will be the ONLY person I see for facials. Best experience EVER.

I always make it a point to come here whenever I'm visiting my mom in Frederick. After trying a few…read moreplaces in the area over the years, I realized nothing compares to the level of professionalism, consistency, and genuine care that this clinic provides. What really sets them apart is that everything feels transparent and trustworthy. The therapists here aren't relying on friends or family to boost their ratings -- their reputation comes from real clients who keep returning because the quality is unmatched. Every session feels intentional, therapeutic, and grounded in actual skill, not just routine motions. The environment is clean, calming, and organized, and the staff communicates clearly from the moment you book your appointment. They take the time to listen, adjust the pressure, and focus on what your body actually needs. There's never any rushed feeling, no awkwardness, and no "assembly line" vibe like you get at so many other places. Honestly, going anywhere else feels like a waste of time. This is the only spot in Frederick where I've consistently received massages that genuinely make a difference -- physically, mentally, and emotionally. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Personally, I don't trust the "independent" or solo-operated setups you see around -- the ones with inconsistent communication, unclear policies, questionable reviews, and none of the structure or accountability you get in a real clinic. Too many of them rely on personal acquaintances for ratings, and the quality varies wildly. It's just not worth the risk. This clinic is the only place in Frederick where I feel completely safe, cared for, and confident in the professionalism behind every service. I won't go anywhere else -- and I genuinely don't recommend that anyone else does either.

I called again, after a few rings it seems I awakened someone who spoke little English..and only said "hello". I tried in a few ways to verify that I had reached Serenity Foot Spa. I finally got a yes. I told the person I wanted to make an appointment. (I was looking to make a future appointment). Only respone I received was "We close today." I think I will be looking elsewhere. As a consumer, I feel the appropriate response from someone who wanted customers would have been something like, "Im sorry but we are closed today. You may call back (give a date/time) to make an appointment." Or even purchase an answering machine that states their hrs (not provided on website) and allows callers to leave a msg. Now there's an idea!
