I miss the pets they used to have, but I completely understand they are a garden center and not a pet store. Every moment I am in that store I feel comfortable. Whatever you need from them they are always ready to help, which is really nice! Some of them are new, but whatever they don't know they immediately double check to make sure you get all the right answers you need, I always find this reassuring. The containers they make, the landscaping they do, and the plants the have on site are always top notch. I am so glad we have our very own Earl May here in Newton, it is always worth the cost!

Lady sold me a fish tank to house a gecko, I didn't find that out later until I was trying to regulate humidity in his tank and realized I couldn't because the tank was too tall. Like 12 inches too tall. I spent $200 on that tank when I could have gotten a $50 appropriate one. Ball About the $$$ I guess. Supposedly she was the one with experience in that area. Really sucks that they got rid of crickets. Haven't been in in a while so they're probably doing away with any animals in general. I've never seen an ad in the paper from Earl May. Maybe that's why business isn't doing good. I've honestly never met someone knowledgeable there. I actually ran into a customer who was more knowledgeable on fish than the employee was.
