The tacos are so yummy! I have tried the birra, mahi mahi, bang bang shrimp and they are so YUMMY!! I personally don't like the Al pastor as it doesn't have the specific flavor of it and the time I tried it the meat was dry and honestly kinda plain. The street corn, drinks and churros are also really yummy tho! Would recommend!! I brought my sister and her fiancée from out of state and they enjoyed it so much as well. I also had my dog with me outside and staff was really nice to her and gave her a water bowl with some affection. read more

This spot neverrrrr disappoints! I'm from Cali so I'm very particular about my Mexican food and let me tell you!! This place is a vibe! I love all the decor! And the birria tacos and asada tacos are fireeeee! Along with my second favorite which is the taco salad. The parking lot is easy to get into and I love the area. I wasn't sure what I wanted to order and the staff was great at making recommendations which is what lead me to try the taco salad on my second trip there. Great portions! We left STUFFED. if you've ever been to California and had a real Cali burrito, you know that this is way off as far as what's goes inside a Cali. BUT, this version is still really good!! The crunch wrap was next level. Freaking. Delicious. We also split the birria grilled cheese. It was so good that we didn't have time taking a picture of it!! Very friendly customer service too. The waitress was awesome. Lots of seating and love that you can customize everything. Finished with the Oreo churros. Phonomenal. I decided to go back and try the birria tacos again, after they have had time to get their act together a bit more. Disappointed! Birria is ok... not as flavorful as I had hoped. Seems light on spices. Consomme is very bland... not much flavor at all. QuesaBirria taco corn tortillas are traditionally dipped in the spicy grease that cooks out of the beef, and then friend on both sides... enhancing the flavor a lot. The tacos I had today were pretty dry, and the shells were not dipped before frying. Basically just a corn tortilla with some birria meat and cheese in it (See attached photo!) Not sure I will bother going to Talkin' Tacos again. read more

I was honestly a little disappointed! The food looked so good but wasn't all that good to me. I ordered the taco trio where you can pick 3 different tacos from the menu. I got the chicken achiote, birria, and the southwest chicken tacos. The birria taco was honestly kinda bland. The consomé it came with was okay and helped add some flavor but still lacked in depth. The chicken achiote, I didn't taste any achiote and the sauce was really sweet plus it overpowered the flavor of anything else in the taco. The southwest taco kinda had the same issue where all I could taste was the sauce. I also got the horchata and for me it was too thick and waaaayy too sweet! My husband got a burrito (can't remember which one but it had carne, fries, rice, etc.) and he said his food was decent! The people there were really nice and attentive as well! The first thing they asked was if we were new and made sure to explain the ordering system at the restaurant. All in all, I wouldn't really recommend going here and I wouldn't come back. ): However, the plaza it's in is really cute and could be a fun afternoon activity. Lastly, all together for 3 tacos, a burrito that comes with chips, chips and pico (starter), horchata, and a jarrito it all came out to be about $55! I have some friends that been telling me about this place, and I finally got the chance to try it. Since the moment you walk in you feel very welcomed, Alicia was the one who greeted us first, and she was very nice and attentive during the whole time we were there. She explained the menu and how their system works and also made a couple recommendations. Moving on to the most important part, the food, everything was very well done, seasoned and delicious! My favorite were the Caribbean Steak tacos and the mushrooms ones! They were both so good! I also ordered some elote with takis cilantro and cheese, sooooo good! But the star of the day was the horchata, it's honestly out of this world, one of the best horchatas I've ever had. The restaurant seemed very clean and neat, with an outgoing and easy going atmosphere. Decor it's on point with all those nice neon signs! I am coming back for sure. Our experience was outstanding- from the second we walked in one of the team members- Damian was there to greet us and offer assistance. We ended up getting the steak taco bowl and the birria pizza. Both were absolutely delish. The pizza had amazing flavor and a total surprise as we didn't know what to expect. Damian continued to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. My mom and I went to talking tacos on a weekday evening. There weren't a lot of people inside, and we were immediately greeted upon our arrival. One of the employees walked us through how to order at the kiosk and came to check in on us after a few minutes, which was nice. There is a huge selection! We each decided to get the triple taco deal which allowed us to mix and match tacos to our preference. I had the mahi-mahi, Southwest chicken and shrimp tacos. They were all very, very good! My favorite was the southwest chicken taco. My mom also enjoyed her tacos and she said she would likely be back to try one of their burritos. I would also like to come back and try something else. Talkin' Tacos has this Cuban girl about to go Mexican! There's nothing more I like more than tacos, and this place delivers. Talkin' Tacos just opened last week, so my date and I had to check it out. We decided to order several things from the menu to get the full taste experience, and I'm glad we did. There wasn't a single thing we ate that wasn't bursting full of flavor. The guacamole is wonderful, so order extra. If you're a bodybuilder looking for a protein fix like I am, this is definitely your spot. The Birria Tacos and the Steak Quesabrillas, are overflowing with an abundance of meat. Although slightly smaller in size, the Caribbean Taco was by far my favorite with a perfect balance of salty and sweet. The service was fast, and the girls working in the restaurant were helpful and friendly. I would recommend the restaurant order more kiosks immediately. We've been here twice now and both times we really enjoyed it. The staff is always friendly and has greeted us immediately when we walk in - their ordering is done through a kiosk and there's been an employee there each time ensuring we know how to go through the ordering process and also providing recommendations. My first visit I got the birria tacos - those were really good, I enjoyed the consumme. The second visit I got their version of a Crunchwrap and that's been my favorite so far - I got the birria option (as you can tell, I have a slight birria obsession lol) - again, loved it. I will say, it is a bit pricey - but the food has been great every time we've been, so I can't complain too much because we've really enjoyed it both times we've been. Normally, I mourn for the loss of a restaurant and the replacement of a new, but I think in this case, Talkin Tacos is actually an improvement from Tijuana Flats. I've been curious to try this place out based on some of the fresh looking tasty dishes served out here (ESPECIALLY the quesabirria quesadilla, which I have been keeping my eye on because I just love birria tacos...but a quesadilla...DO.I.DARE???). I also noticed that it was dog friendly, and any new place that would allow me to have my sweet Muffin accompany me is a win. Brought the boyfriend out with me. A worker greeted us there right away upon entering and explained to us how the ordering system works. We made our order and headed outside because it was a lovely (albeit cold) day. The food came out pretty quickly. My boyfriend LOVED his shrimp tacos, and I dove in face first with my quesadilla. It had a hefty, healthy amount of tender brisket in it with a decent cheese ratio with the sauce that I could dip it in. Did not disappoint in the slightest although it was quite the beast to tackle, but I got all down in one sitting. I'm not a tortilla chip person, so my boyfriend ate half of mine, which is good because I hate waste. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing and rounded out the whole meal nicely. You order your food at a kiosk, sit down, and they bring your food out to you. High price alert!!! I was in the neighborhood, and decided to give this place a try....Since it was in the same location as Tijuana Flats, I thought I would check it out. Curiosity was what brought me into this location, yet everything is super expensive. The kiosk at the front is a little underwhelming, and the dishes need descriptors for people - not to mention possible allergy concerns. I bought a couple of "Mexican Cokes" and a trio of tacos and the total was $35!!! And, they asked me to tip. I was eating in. By the way, "Mexican Cokes" isn't what they are - they are actually Jarritos brand Colas. The food was decent, but not worth the price. The chips my friend got were stale (she got the guacamole and chips to eat). I won't be returning. I will be letting my friends and neighbors they can get tacos for cheaper at other places. read more

Not feeling well today, so I ordered Uber eats from Talkin tacos. I've ordered their vegetarian tacos before and thought I might try a burrito this time. I ordered the Cali burrito with black beans as my protein. They pre-cut the burrito in half and I pulled it apart and it looked good but I noticed there were no black beans and what appeared to be potato. I like hot sauce so that was possibly my distraction and I ate half the burrito. I noticed after I pulled out one of those, what appeared to be deep fried potato, was not but chicken. I had ingested half of it!! I did call the restaurant and spoke to a very nice manager on duty named Jordan. She was very thoughtful and her apologies were very sincere. She double checked my order and noticed that I did ask for the beans and by the way I don't think this usually comes with chicken. It is something that you need to add. I'm not worried about nonrefundable because Uber eats is the third-party. I just wanted to put this out there for vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian's to check before you bite into it. read more
