Has the potential to be a Great company to work for but, the wrong people are in leadership positions.
Donor Center Technician - Columbus,Ga
I am a former employee at the Grifols of Columbus Ga, I was only employed there for a few months before realizing how most of the workers were deceptive of each other. Upon me entering the building the mess started in the Training Office with the Training Coordinator Tam, the Quality Person if I can remember correctly her name was Sharon and their other friend Tasha that worked in the lab. They would stand in the office and talk about most of the staff as if they hated them. I knew things about the workers that I shouldn't have known because they were always talking about them. One of the Os's was extremely rude her name was Wanda she would stand around and talk about people as well with Sharon and Tosha and whoever else would entertain the conversation at the time. Wanda was also big on just sitting in the office watching Tic Toc during her shift. There were times when I even heard her call people out of their names like Cracker, and ugly Mexicans she would always say they know i don't like white people " Just racist". The one group with Tam, Wanda, Tasha, and Sharon makes the work environment hostile they talk to people in the most disrespectful way make them feel as though because they are of a different race than them they are beneath them. There is very little diversity in that place. The final straw for me was when they sent me to the Donor Floor to train granted majority of the Phlebs were very nice to me but, they assigned me a trainer that I never trained with then I was put with Jackie it was suppose to be temporary but, I ended up training with her and another trainer on the floor. Jackie was very rude she always complained about how she would be glad when my training was over because she hated to train. She also disliked most of her peers on the floor so her and others would stand and talk about them. Grifols of Columbus Georgia is not a very welcoming work environment they run in groups there. The one group with Tam, Wanda, Tasha, and Sharon makes the work environment hostile they talk to people in the most disrespectful way make them feel as though because they are of a different race than them they are beneath them. There is very little diversity in that place. My time was not as lengthy as I had intended it to be but, if that place doesn't get some new people in new roles quick something way worse than loosing one or 2 people is gonna happen. If you are ever thinking about applying for a job PLEASE bypass Grifols of Columbus Georgia because that is by far the worst place ever to work for. read more
