I currently count only 3 techs in the donation area. if they are short staffed they shouldn't allow as many appointments. Once your logged in your committed; your choice is to wait for over three hours or lose out on your donation. Poor management.

They need to have better train staff for people with all kinds of veins and skin types especially one lady who likes to dig her needle in and out in and out multiple times trying to find a vein versus asking for help. Also sucks because we were under the impression you get paid $100 each time but it actually goes to $40 each time but the money still pretty decent pays for some bills.

I've come here long enough to know this happens, and normally don't say anything. This was unusually long so I say something only to have the same ol" everyone came in at once" and "these are new donors they go first - bullshit. All the workers have gone to lunch and the ones left are dragging their feet - chit chatting while 30 of us sit and wait. Mr Horne doesn't seem to notice anything. He's busy but working on his own stuff and just ignores the complaints - along with everyone else.

Most times they are standing around talking to each other to hook us to the machines so when they are having a slow day it still takes them atleast 40 minutes to get you to a machine. Also they are RUDE to donors they have made me cry twice. I told management about it and nothing was done. Instead when I came back to donate again the lady was even more pissed. They are to happy to ask for help when it comes to sticking people. I was stuck twice by the same gal plus the she kept readjusting knowing she was causing to much pain. Then blamed me for her poor stick& it was poor because she even said she wasn't sure but was gonna stick me anyways

I come in with, at minimum, a 2 and a half hour pocket of time to donate here before work. Today, it was a little busy but there were definitely open machines with techs operating the sections they were in. However, it still took an entire hour before I was seated. Further, once I was seated I sat for 20 more minutes and watched 3 donors seated after me get hooked up to their machines to begin donating! Since I only had 2 hours this time, due to having a Dr's appointment, I actually had to leave right when a tech finally got to me. (At that point, I only had 30 minutes to kill and it takes me 34 minutes to donate. That's IF the tech sticks me correctly.) I was so aggravated, as I totally could've stayed in the bed asleep those 2 hours I wasted waiting and not even getting to donate. I do like this place. Just, the ridiculous wait times are, well, ridiculous! Maybe better working conditions and benefits wouldn't have techs quitting so often?

The Red Cross showed up at our house while it was still on fire. They provided more than $500 in…read moregift cards to Walmart. They offered to provide housing, but my younger sister had already invited us to stay with them. They also gave each of us a Red Cross backpack with hygiene supplies like a comb, razor, toothbrush and toothpaste, etc. You have no idea ‍ the value of that backpack until you have NOTHING, and it's so precious to you. The Red Cross provides a service that is priceless. I can't say enough good things about them!!!
