Sarah dove in when we were in a jam needing a new black suit for my husband for an upcoming wedding. John went in right after her to help us out with an exchange and an order for two items from two different stores. Today and I'm horribly embarrassed I didn't get our third sales professional's name, I walked in seeking the items that would have been delivered yesterday to find them at the store and we were able to right size everything my husband needed for a wedding next weekend. Von Maur is exceptional. Three different sales touch points all with exceptional service and optimal consistent experiences. That RARELY happens, if ever. Today, upon our repurchase, our sales professional said he was going to process us and ensure John got the credit. Integrity at its finest. I love the store experience. I love the pianist team they have - seen two now since I seem to be going there more often. :) I'm so relieved we got my husband hooked up. I'm impressed with the store, the staff, the overall experience. Bigger fan than I was in February and too many years way to late as I never tried Von Maur out until now. THANK YOU ALL!

It is fairly easy to get to this location as there are a couple of different ways to approach it from the primary road. Depending on season and time of day, this can be extremely easy, or extremely hard. Interior: the store is well organized and very clean. The aisles are wide and we've found it easy to get through them with or without a cart. It's easy to find what you seek because the departments are very clear. There are two entrances, so getting in and out is easy. There are loads of check out lanes and we've never had a problem moving through them quickly. They seem to be well staffed at all times. There's even a small cafe, but we've never stopped at it to see what they offer. Staff: the regular pharmacy staff is absolutely wonderful! We are greeted warmly upon arrival and they remember small details from prior discussions, which makes us feel as if they care about us as people. They take their time to ensure we understand our prescriptions and help us when we seek something. The other store associates have always been polite and helpful. Inventory: there's a broad range of products at this Target and we've usually found items we've sought here. Some departments are bare bones (like camping), whereas others have really good selections (like clothing). Overall, this is a really nice store with good associates. We sometimes just stop in to wander around as it's a comfortable environment for that activity.

And I wanted some odd snacks, so we headed to the food section. They have a nice assortment of clothes, household goods, and more. Pretty standard Marshall's. You never know what you'll find, but you'll likely find something good, or good enough, and reasonably priced. They do seem to always have Torani syrups, though you can't count on a wide range of flavors. Prices are low to moderate. Service was very good- not super busy, and when the line started to lengthen the manager jumped in at a register. Plenty of parking. Lots of other interesting things in the mall.

Tags still on it, had receipt, bag, etc. My mother said her cat didn't even look at it, so she gave it back to me. Thought nothing of it, and handed it to the cashier to begin the return process. She was a very kind Asian lady, for the record, and completely accepting of the returned product. As she was about to execute it, another female sauntered up, chomping and sucking on candy like a child, and snottily intervened with, "Nope--we cannot accept this. See? There is a stain in it. I can't put that back on the shelf like that! Sorry--nope." She was very rude and snotty about it, and lifting the pet bed's inner cushion to further "investigate", as if we were trying to pull one over on her or something. My view on it is this: 1. I explained to her that I didn't even NOTICE any stain on it. My mother obviously didn't, either (remember, too, she is 81-yrs-old). The pet bed was grabbed quickly by my mom, and when she gave it back to me, I just took the bag and went to the store to return; didn't even look at it. 2. Her cat is SUPER picky about new stuff, especially places to nap, so we both know her cat didn't do ANYTHING in the bed, such as pee in it. 3. Who is to say the stain wasn't there that whole time from an old customer or even an employee being a slob and leaving, say, food or drink on it, in it or next to it? I've seen BS like that in Walmart and such. It HAPPENS. The point is, you *work* with the customer. For the record, I am NOT a believer in that fairy tale "customer is always right". It's a myth. But as a HUMAN first, you try to come to a common ground and work with the other person. My mother and I both had NO idea about some stain deep inside the cat bed! I had a gift card given to me by my best friend for Marshall's, didn't know what to buy with it, as I never shop there to begin with, so I offered for my mother to pick something out. It was a quick, on-the-fly reaction and choice for her. She was thinking of something cute for her cat--that's it. No sneaky, sleazy stuff going on, no fraud or game being played--just two people trying to use up the gift card. Instead of accepting the reality and option that the "stain" might've been there all along and that no product is perfect anyway, the Arabic lady decided to be a snot and shoo me away like a gnat. Very unprofessional, and I will have to remind my best friend never to buy me a gift card for a place I don't regularly shop at anyway, and with some rude employees to boot. Bad energy like that has no place in my life. Hopefully MY cats will like the bed, or else I'll hafta just donate it.

Let's start with the cons so we can end on a high note, shall we? 1) The bathroom was horrendous. I don't do public restrooms unless I absolutely have to and this one was not good at all. 2) I get that the holiday season has arrived so people are out and about, but it was so congested it was uncomfortable. As in, the aisles were so tight, tons of stuff placed in the walkways, things like that. I even heard another customer say "this is giving me anxiety," and goodness I felt that in my core. I'm sure you have a lot of crap to put on the floors, but give us some space to walk, please. Thank you. Now for the positives... 1) While the checkout line was a mile long, they got through it quickly! 2) The dressing rooms were clean and they had plenty available. 3) While prices have gone up everywhere on the planet, it's still really affordable. 4) The people working there were really nice.

I have been looking for a new coat and passed by Burlington. I thought I should stop in and check here to see what they have. A totally spontaneous addition to the days adventures. What I didn't find, a large selection of coats. They had maybe a couple racks of men's jackets/coats (in this massive store) and a lot of the same brands with little selection. It could be the time of the year, not sure since first time in here. What I did find, cologne and perfumes, shoes, pillows, mirrors, clothing (men's, women's & children), home accessories and decor, toys, and holiday items on clearance. Personal thoughts, when I described my visit to some folks I said it is somewhere between a thrift store and a TJ Maxx, not quite a Kohl's. It's a lot of everything with a nice variety. The shoe prices really stood out to me, but was looking for a coat and was a bit overwhelmed by all the "stuff" everywhere. I didn't find anything this visit, no associates were around to help or ask questions, and I would say it was just an OK visit. I am curious to see what the store and inventory looks like a little more past the holidays. It seemed like a neat place to explore when I have more time so I will head back when I have some time.

This is one of those places whose namesake has little to do with what it sells. It's only one small…read morepart of what they do. Burlington Coat Factory was a big disappointment when a coat was what I needed. Let the irony of that soak in for a minute. The store sells all kinds of clothes, purses, shoes, fragrances, and even housewares like most in every mall and strip mall. There's nothing special really, just a regular clothing and accessories type store. There aren't very many coats in there at all. When I go to a store that's named after a product, I expect it to be a place that specializes in that. I go there because I want to go to the specialists, the ones who have the most variety and knowledge of what I'm looking for. I wouldn't want to go to a place called Marvelous Meats or something like that and then go in to find it's just a grocery store with one little meat case. That's what happened when I needed a Fall jacket and went to Burlington Coat Factory. That is really irritating and to me that makes it a less respectable and credible store. One noteworthy thing I did notice inside is that it has a big and tall section, which is hard to find. It's a very disappointing big and tall section; it has shirts and that's it. On the other hand, there were some really nice and very affordable shirts in big sizes. That's extremely rare. Fat guys usually pay a premium for those extra inches of cloth. The store had sizes at least up to 5X that I saw and there may have been bigger ones; I don't know. But that's also impressive. I used to be a 6X/7X (now I'm a 3X/4X) and I know all too well how hard it is to find shirts that big. There are two places to get them: King Size Direct and DXL. They're both expensive and DXL is extremely over priced. So for Burlington Coat Factory to have them and at the same low price everyone else pays is a big deal to some people. The store itself was a big, wide open space and it was clean and nice. It was a pleasant enough experience. All in all, the store is nice and does seem to have a lot of nice clothes at fair prices and even has some Big and Tall stuff but very little in the way of actual coats. That's a major down side because not only is it false advertising but it's a big inconvenience to someone who went out of their way to go to a coat store because they needed a coat.
