Unfortunately, it didn't work and I did have to resort to the shots, but I did have a good experience here. The physical therapists are just wonderful. They are very kind and understanding. They would push me, but they never pushed too far. They seemed to know my limits even better than I did. I guess that's why they are physical therapists and I'm not. :D It's a very large physical therapy center. Even though this one was a good distance away, there are not very many centers in jacksonville that offer the aquatic physical therapy. The pool is located inside and it is heated. It's more like an above the ground pool. For those who can't make it up and down the stairs, they have a chair for the patient to sit in which raises up and lowers the person into the pool... it then does the opposite to remove the person from the pool. The front desk people are wonderful also. They are great at working with your schedule to make appointments. They did a great job at filing my insurance for me too. If you're in need of aquatic physical therapy or other types of physical therapy, I highly recommend Heartland.

It has been a week since his passing and I have not had the funds returned to me, nor received an invoice or receipt. This is SENIOR FRAUD!!! I have not been able to reach a human being on the Aviata corporate line.

So you can see how much they care for their patients, and how willing they are to work with you.. No reevaluation, no real care, no results. My son still can't play competitively because his hip is no better. Total waste of money. Look elsewhere.

At the first visit, Eric spent enough time with me initially to correctly diagnose my problem. Each appointment, Eric worked with me through every exercise he gave me, increasing my limits as necessary, but never giving me more than I could handle. Eric's great attitude made me look forward to going in. The thought of working out the shoulder that had been bothering me could have made me dread going to the therapist. No so with Eric. I looked forward to going in and chatting during my exercises - the appointments flew by. But, most importantly, I'm fixed!! I have full use of my shoulder again and played volleyball last night with ZERO PAIN!! (from my shoulder, that is. I'm so out of shape that my thighs are killing me this morning :)) I guess it is important to say that Nina (Eric's office manager) filed my insurance claims for me with no issues. They both have been tremendous in explaining what I must do in order to overcome male incontinence. From doing pelvic floor exercises properly to making sure when doing these exercises I'm breathing properly and not holding my breath. I always feel comfortable with explaining how I'm feeling about going through the incontinence issues which impacts my everyday life. I would recommend these two ladies to anyone who needs physical therapy no matter what their condition or situation is.

Which by the way, they charge $75 if you miss an appointment, but paid me nothing for wasting my time by taking off work for the non-appointment and all of the paperwork they had me fill out online. I was very excited to start my therapy with them and now I am completely disappointed at their lack of customer service. If you have Aetna insurance, don't bother with this PT center unless you want to pay out of pocket, which they tried to offer me before I walked out. I am sure the therapists are great, but I didn't get past the front desk.

Appointment making was fairly easy and straight forward. I called in and was able to choose my date and time. For my first visit, I saw Dr. Vish who actually saw evidence of the broken bone in my back and suggested deeper scans. I returned a handful of times afterwards and saw Dr. Vish. He was polite, straight-forward, and the adjustments felt good. My interactions with Dr. Nguyen were different. He came across like a used car salesman always trying to upsell me. Essentially my visits were out-of-pocket as I waited for insurance to pay me back. The bills were never what was communicated to me in the office and it became clear to me that while I liked Dr. Vish, I could not continue to visit because of Dr. Nguyen. He just gave the wrong vibes. I felt like I was being taken advantage of. I ultimately chose a different treatment plan for my broken back and that was that.
