The service was exceptional--friendly faces, professional hands, and something harder to measure: genuine care. The quality care and reassuring communication helped me tremendously. I'd like to specifically thank Dr. Phillip Bell who performed the surgery, the nurses, anesthesiologist, and everyone else at JOI Baptist South for taking such good care of me before, during, and after surgery. My knee range of motion has improved dramatically the previous 5 days and is currently at 115 degrees. No more walker or cane and I just walked a mile today. It's been 5 weeks since the knee replacement. I have a new lease on life! Thank you very much. Sincerely, Richard

He is a gifted and strong therapist with the strength to work seized areas and with the sensitivity to consistently and kindly improve circulation, break up adhesions and help injured muscles. I would go as far to say that he is as good or even a little better than my sister who has been a professional therapist in Seattle working on Sports teams! Uses a very similar method I think. Anyway, the people in the office are always pleasant and polite. The reception and treatment areas are always clean. The roller table is great also. I highly recommend 904 Chiropractic on Touchton Rd. I hated having to stop my visits. Miss you guys.

Not knowing what to expect, I ended up pleasantly surprised! I started with a physical therapist who was very nice and knowledgeable but 'just not for me.' I then had the opportunity to switch to a different therapist when I needed to change one of my therapy appointments. From that day forward, I remained with that therapist! Our personalities were very similar. He gave me my exercises, pushed me just enough to finish the amount he had decided upon. Then, I pushed myself even farther! We made a good team for my rehabilitation! He, as well as the other three therapists I worked with while recovering were all extremely punctual, knowledgeable, organized, and very mindful of the patient's tolerance level! The facility was always clean, neat, and organized. Each table, tool, and machine were cleaned & sanitized after each use, as well! I would definitely recommend JOI at Baptist South to anyone in need of physical therapy or occupational therapy!

Last year, I had an ankle replacement and was assigned to physical therapy. After literally trying…read morefour other physical therapy clinics in the area, I settled here. What I like about this Clinic is that it is very personal. At other clinics I had the experience of having four or five different people work on my therapy within any given visit. I dreaded my visits there. Here I am assigned one person that stays with me the entire time. This is the way it should be. When being assigned to the same therapist for the entire appointment, they get to know you better, what you need to work on and how they can help you best. This is a nice clinic, conveniently located on Argyle Forest. They have a large rehab area with various types of rehabilitation equipment to meet your needs. You can park right in front of this clinic and there is always parking availability. The therapists are very friendly - I enjoy this! They care for you, and they make sure that you are feeling comfortable with your therapy. If you ask questions, they will answer the questions. They will have questions for you as well..so that they can provide the best services. Instead of dreading your clinic time in physical therapy each visit, you actually will look forward to it because it is a happy, positive environment! The front office staff is top-notch with smiles to greet you, and whole staff is professional in demeanor. As JGPT was recommended to me by my good friend, I will highly recommend this clinic to you as well! Well, done JGPT- Argyle! You have made a believer out of me! Thank you for helping me reach my goals, lessen the pain of recovery, and making my ankle rehabilitation successful, and fun! For all of you perspective, physical therapy patients I will leave the clinic number right here. They are located in Orange Park on Argyle Forest! Go For It! Get Better! Phone: 904-573-2100

I have been going to physical therapy on the Northside and am not happy with their services. First,…read morebecause this location does not have a lot of patients, they are constantly moving the staff around to other locations leaving this location with no consistency on who you will see or even who will check you in. You do not ever get the chance to get comfortable and build a sense of trust with the staff including the physical therapist. You have to constantly give them your medical history and explain why you are going to physical therapy and where you are in your treatments. Second, you may or may not work with an actual physical therapist. On two separate occasions I was seen by a CNA who just read off of a sheet on what she asked me to do. If I did see a physical therapist, he had other patients he was working with at the same time and I often had to wait between exercises before he could continue with me. Third, you do the same exercises over and over again. Once I was shown something, I did my exercises at home so going to an appointment where the do the same thing is a waste of my time. Fourth, I had an appt scheduled on Monday, but I got sick over the weekend and contacted my primary care physician and was able to get an appointment that was at the same time as my physical therapy appointment. I immediately called them as soon as they opened and they would not waive the cancellation fee of $50.00 regardless of the situation. I was advised that I should have called over the weekend and left a message to reschedule my appointment. Last, they are quick to charge me a late fee, but I had to wait to be called back at least 30 minutes for every appointment I went to. I would not recommend Coastal Physical Therapy on the Northside of Jacksonville, Florida (Dundas Dr).
