I believe the therapy has made a noticeable difference, and I genuinely feel like I'm making progress. Anita is an excellent occupational therapist. She listens carefully, welcomes feedback, and adjusts treatment based on how I'm responding. I never feel rushed, and it's clear she cares about providing quality care. The front office staff has also been outstanding. They're friendly, professional, and always make scheduling or rescheduling appointments quick and easy. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I would highly recommend Summit Physical Therapy to anyone in need of occupational therapy.

Before surgery, Scott Crawley helped guide me through prehab exercises focused on conditioning and strengthening my legs and quads. After each surgery, the team at Focus provided outstanding care, encouragement, and professionalism. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and supportive while still being highly professional. What surprised me most was the emotional support I received along with the physical therapy. Thanks to the team at Focus and my surgeon, Dr. John Redmond, I truly feel like I have a new lease on life with my new knees. Highly recommend!

I wasn't sure how effective physical therapy would be because I've never done it before but I learned the right exercises can really help. I had a few appointments with Scott and a few with Andrew. I would recommend them to any of my family or friends.

I have curvature in my spine and a desk job, which has the unfortunate result of messing with the spot where one of my ribs connects to my spine. When it's out of place, and my muscles spasm to compensate, it can hurt to breathe. I have been able to get in to Dr Railing same day when I've needed it, and he takes a really pragmatic approach. I've never had him suggest dozens of visits as other chiropractors have, which is great because it's hard to make time for every one I do really need. The office staff are kind, too.

I finally googled an orthopedic walk-in as we have them at home and I didn't want to get the flu or something else from a standard walk in. I called their number to see if the office close to me had walk in hours and they said no only Manderin office so they took my info to make a patient record for me and I drove over. Got there about 11:15 and they let me know Dr Brown was also seeing scheduled patients so it probably wouldn't be until 1 that I saw him. No problem I had expected a longer wait. They took X-rays right away and then someone did intake on me and back to the lobby I went to wait. About 1230 got called back to the room and he came in about 5 min later. He did some tests on my range of motion and suggested PT two times a week and to heat it and maybe take some Tylenol or Advil. If the pt doesn't improve the situation then they scheduled a follow up with a dr close to my place for 5 weeks out. Still waiting on the call to schedule PT about 15 hours later. Will update the review if I have any issues scheduling that!

I had overheard that he was running about 45 minutes behind from other patients who came in after me and that was really unacceptable. I'm not sure what happened during the day but when he did see me I didn't feel rushed. He took the time to listen to me and examine my thumb to see if there was something wrong with it. I was fitted with a brace, prescribed some NSAIDS, and have a follow-up appointment set for a few weeks away. I'm not sure that I want to come back to this location though. I'll see how my thumb does.

Unfortunately, it didn't work and I did have to resort to the shots, but I did have a good experience here. The physical therapists are just wonderful. They are very kind and understanding. They would push me, but they never pushed too far. They seemed to know my limits even better than I did. I guess that's why they are physical therapists and I'm not. :D It's a very large physical therapy center. Even though this one was a good distance away, there are not very many centers in jacksonville that offer the aquatic physical therapy. The pool is located inside and it is heated. It's more like an above the ground pool. For those who can't make it up and down the stairs, they have a chair for the patient to sit in which raises up and lowers the person into the pool... it then does the opposite to remove the person from the pool. The front desk people are wonderful also. They are great at working with your schedule to make appointments. They did a great job at filing my insurance for me too. If you're in need of aquatic physical therapy or other types of physical therapy, I highly recommend Heartland.

Dr. Tina was also really great, she asked many questions that I felt were applicable to my situation and goals of general improved health and wellness. The appointments go by quickly but they efficiently get you through each part. For me, things are pretty simple, prepping before the adjustment (roller bed and tens unit) then in a room for my adjustment. I mentioned I have been having some sinus issues and Dr. Tina remember to focus on those as well. My experience so far has been a good one.
