In Motion is a great place to get moving again after an injury or surgery. I tore my meniscus years…read moreago and eventually, I couldn't really walk without dragging my leg. My orthopedist at JOI wrote me a prescription for physical therapy and what a difference it made. Over about 4 months my muscles were stronger and I learned how to walk without a limp. My husband, who has sciatica, was helped so much with strength training and massage by Kelly Downs. Dr. Joanna Frantz is a brilliant physical therapist who can guide you to start moving again. I highly recommend In Motion.

Highly recommend! I have received physical therapy in multiple clinics to help with frequent…read moremigraines, and the care I've received at Premier is topnotch. After moving to Jacksonville I wanted a therapist trained in Dry Needling, which I have found to be extremely helpful in the past. It seems that Florida only recently allowed this technique to be used (despite the fact that is accepted as standard care across the U.S., Europe, and Australia) and because it is so new to the state there are few PTs licensed to conduct this form of therapy. Dr. Jessica Grochowsky is fully licensed in this modality, and is very skilled in all the other "regular" types of PT as well. Within weeks, she has helped my migraines scale down massively, and calmed some other chronic pain I have. For those of you who have been lucky enough to not need physical therapy, let me explain one of the (many) ways this clinic is great. At many clinics, you see the therapist for a short time and then they have you on exercise equipment (usually with minimal supervision) for the rest of the time. At Premier, you are with the therapist for the full appointment, receiving his/her undivided attention. In that time they use multiple techniques and tools on you, all focused on getting you better. This clinic is also not the type that subscribes to the "no pain, no gain" philosophy - they are as gentle as they can be while still getting results. Before or after your appointment you will also have time to use their facilities to do the prescribed exercises while supervised by trained specialists. I'm really glad I found this clinic - everyone in the clinic is SUPER nice, has a great sense of humor, and is fully invested in helping patients feel better. And in just a few weeks my pain levels have massively decreased in frequency and intensity.

My motivation to write this review was not only to give the folks at Atlantic Coast Physical…read moreTherapy their much deserved praise, but also so that more folks can find out about this gem. Let me begin by stating that this was my second physical therapy place for my most recent shoulder injury. The first was quite disappointing (review to be done soon) and run like a puppy mill. I found Atlantic Coast through my work out partner who had not only been a patient but also an intern one summer. During my initial visit, Eva took the time to do a thorough evaluation and showed me on a pull apart model exactly what the issue was and what the game plan was to correct it. I was never left unattended, unlike the other place which shall forthwith be referred to as the puppy mill. I always had someone next to me assisting me, correcting my form, and demonstrating the appropriate way a movement should be done. The exercise program, while challenging, was constantly evolved as my injury improved and I was able to graduate to higher repetitions with more resistance. My plan was completely catered to my needs (looking at you puppy mill). The staff at Atlantic Coast is professional and courteous, yet always amiable enough to ask about my day, my weekend plans, or discuss the score of the recent game or some new asinine rule the NCAA or the MLB wants to implement. Eva or her staff would ask how my work outs were going and inquired on how they were impacted my shoulder. They also asked if my level of discomfort was still a 3 or if anything had changed. bottom line: they knew me as an INDIVIDUAL not as as a number (dagger eyes at the puppy mill). Should the unfortunate need arise to require physical therapy, you won't be disappointed here. I can't thank them enough for getting my shoulder, um, back on its feet.

Def recommend coming here for any PT needs. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The office…read moreis clean and the PT that helped me was very informative and helpful. Ask a lot of questions, gave advice on what to do at home, made me feel comfortable, very professional, and personable.

I am a return patient. This therapy really works. I started coming here, at the recommendation of…read moremy Neurologist, for my migraines. I attended a couple of times a week to start but soon was on my own after successfully learning how to do the exercises the therapist taught me. Fast forward, a month ago I hurt my neck, lots of bone cracking, pain, etc. I tried several things, to no avail... then I decided to call and make an appt. for PT. After a few weeks, I am noticing a huge difference, swelling has disappeared, my neck pain has subsided and the rotation in my neck is much better! I would highly recommend their services. Important Notice: I noticed that another reviewer had mentioned the lack of COVID procedures. This has not been my experience.... there is a sign on the front door that you MUST have a mask on prior to entering, they take your temperature before you go back for therapy, they have "clean" pens for you to use when signing in, and a huge dispenser of hand sanitizer for patients to use, they wipe down all the equipment after each use and all the staff members are wearing masks. So, I have felt very comfortable and safe during my appointments.

After experiencing migraine headaches for years as a teenager that caused me to have horrible…read morenausea, vomiting, and dizziness, I was recommended Dr. Marrow by my neurologist. It was a last resort after medication failed me, but once I walked into this place, I had wished it was my first line of defense. Dr. Marrow was incredibly compassionate and took the time to listen and really help me understand what was wrong with my neck. Even when dealing with me when I was a hyper and easily distracted teenager, he was patient and caring. I never threw up again from a migraine and my vertigo vanished. I still practice many of the techniques he taught me back then and my life has improved far more than it ever did with migraine medication! I cannot recommend this place enough, I pray my daughter never has to deal with the same neck issues I did, but if she does, I know exactly where I'll take her!
