I took it to Valvoline to see if oil was possibly leaking from filter or oil plug. Olivia was very helpful, told me oil was leaking from oil coolant line and that I shouldn't drive it. She just charged me for the filter but not the oil, and let me leave my car there overnight until I could figure out where I wanted AAA to tow it. Very friendly and helpful to an out of towner.

My GF and I work about an hour and a half away out in Wooster, and after we clocked out today we…read morewalked outside to find that we had a flat tire. After checking for slash marks (as we work with a lot of crazy people), we realized we ran over a piece of metal that simply deflated our tire, and it was time for me to change a tire! All we have is a donut, so our long drive home on the interstate was going to be pretty sketchy, and we would be stuck dealing with this tomorrow. I was not too happy about the prospect of driving 50 MPH the whole way home, but what could we do. It was about 6:50 PM and everywhere in Wooster was closed, but we noticed that Monro closed at 7, so we figured we would stop and ask if they could help. The older fella behind the counter was super nice, and told us he'd hook us up no problem. They took the tire, patched it up, aired and balanced, even staying about 15 minutes after they closed to make sure we got home safe. I started to worry, as we never discussed price, but when we were given the bill 15 minutes later, it was totally a good deal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I would also recommend not working an hour and a half away from work, but what can you do. Thanks Monro!

I made an appointment and left work early only to find out they would not honor the appointment…read more They said the number I called was the main scheduling number and I needed to call them direct. I reluctantly rescheduled and had 4 new tires installed. When I drove the vehicle, it had a horrible vibration. I brought it back for rebalancing, they rebalanced (no charge) and it still had a vibration. I then took it to another tire shop and they said all 4 tires were 2.25 to 3 ounces out of balance and they were able to get me back on the road vibration free. I do not recommend tire choice.

An appointment was made to fix a leaking brake fluid. The source of the leak was known and…read morecommunicated to the staff. When the vehicle arrived, staff asked "did you make an appointment for this?" Yes, yes we did. It is obvious the staff was not well experienced with the vehicle we brought in and instead of saying it was out of their wheelhouse, they attempted a repair. The issue was NOT repaired. The mechanic replaced a brake line that was not leaking, was not the source of the leak, and had already been replaced recently. When driving home, the brakes failed. When we contacted the shop to let them know the leak was not fixed and that we checked and it is the same exact location of the issue we dropped it off for we were told yes they did repair it. It obviously broke somewhere else and the would look at it again but would not comp us any of the previous WRONG repair or any work toward the new repair. I understand they took time to work on the vehicle, however they didn't repair the problem and then tried to tell us they did! From now on, I will take pictures of the problem before hand so I can prove it was not fixed. We have used this shop in the past with no issue, but this experience was SO bad we will never use them again.

We are disappointed with our recent experience with Germain Honda of College Hills and the handling…read moreof our 2017 Honda CR-V service concerns. In December 2025, our vehicle was serviced at this dealership, including replacement of all fuel injectors. Several months later, in July 2026, the vehicle developed significant performance issues and became disabled. The dealership diagnosed the vehicle with a head gasket failure. After reaching out regarding our concerns, it took approximately two weeks to receive an initial response from the dealership. Given the seriousness of the situation and the potential cost of the recommended repair, we expected more timely communication and a more thorough explanation of the diagnosis. We requested documentation supporting this diagnosis, including any available diagnostic test results, technician notes, inspection records, or other information showing how this conclusion was reached. We were advised that no additional records were available beyond the customer invoices/receipts. Our concern is not simply that a mechanical issue occurred, as we understand vehicle failures can happen. Our concern is the lack of supporting documentation and explanation provided for a major engine diagnosis, especially given that the dealership had performed significant engine-related work only months earlier. We believe customers deserve transparency and clear communication when faced with a costly repair decision. We would have appreciated a more thorough explanation of the diagnostic process and supporting information behind the recommendations being made. We hope the dealership improves its documentation practices and customer communication so future customers can feel confident that major repair decisions are supported by clear information.
