Stopped by Take 5 Oil Change in Roanoke for a vehicle inspection. Heads up, the wait can be long during the weekend. However, the staff was nice from the moment we pulled up, and that friendliness made the wait much easier to take. I really like that you get to stay in your vehicle the entire time instead of having to drop it off and come back. They even came around with water bottles while we waited, which was a thoughtful touch. We'll be back. read more

Went by for a DPS inspection . Dalton was awesome. Got me in and out in 12 minutes and his customer service was next level

Very professional! Love the service. Well oiled service machine. Thank you to the manager that helped me Jan 21, 2025

"Take 5" means what? This place is a clown show! A 15 minute job drug on and on and on. Smok'n and jok'n. Then they went to add the oil, and they were out. You'd think they'd tell you that before starting job. Had to walk to the auto parts store next door and get our oil?! They can't even pretend to wash a windshield! It was worse afterwards. A mid size SUV oil change and a dirtier windshield ONLY, for $176! Total scam. Only thing that made sense, guy told me they are more expensive than the dealer...no doubt! read more

Stripped the housing on my 08 Scion and management refused to fix it. Stay away from this place

If you feel uncomfortable being upsold or pressured to add on to the service you're there for then this is the place for you. Both times I've been I've had extra services/replacements recommended but never in a pushy way. Everyone on staff is working hard and doing their best to get you in and out quickly. read more

This location has my daughter's (she's 11) listed as their POC, and their corporate network transfers all calls to her number. I've contacted Take 5 corporate on multiple occasions to rectify the issue, and they simply don't care. It's an annoyance, and I'd venture to guess Take 5 Roanoke has lost THOUSANDS of customers who have called inquiring about an oil change over the past year, as we have kept this number out of sheer amusement and purchased a separate line for our daughter. We route all of the calls to a local establishment here in Keller, so way to go Take 5!! Genius marketing strategy to bring more business to Keller, and I'm happy to facilitate! read more

I had a state inspection done and it was handled very professionally and quickly. I was greeted with a free bottle of water. My wait was minimal and I was very pleased with the service and the personnel. read more

Went there at 7 am and business not open, although posted hours show 7 am open. Went back at 7:30 am and was told by employee that they didn't have a manager and to come back next week since my Bronco has a "plastic plug". Went to Kwik Car in Roanoke and got my oil change there instead. read more

Got an oil change here a while back and recently the past week my car has been leaking big puddles of oil. So I took my car to the dealership this week and was told that the last people who did my oil change (This Location) caused damage to the car and now I have to pay $300 to repair it because of this locations mess up. I will never come back to a take 5 oil ever again. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Went here yesterday for a state inspection and was told that they couldn't do it because their equipment was down, and no inspectors to do the job. Hopefully they will get everything worked out soon. read more

#2 errand stop is the oil change I've needed to get for a few weeks. I normally would not brag on an oil change, but Alex at Take 5 in Roanoke did an amazing job. Even with a full house and a newbie employee, it was a great experience. Definitely recommend!! read more

I'm in from out of town and needed an oil change before heading back. The place down the street I wanted to take my car to closed early today so I searched and found this place. I never do reviews but this is the best and most friendly location i've gone to. Brandon and Logan were very helpful and explained everything they were doing. They even offered me a water first thing pulling up. They helped me with an oil change, coolant exchange, and they even checked my tires for me. 10/10 experience, i will definitely be coming back. read more
