Water while we wait!
Samantha C.

Isaiah and Emma were both professional and friendly! It was 115° outside and before we even pulled in, we were offered bottled water. We already knew we loved this place! They got us right in and did a great job of explaining our options. We could tell Isaiah really loves his job and took it seriously. I was expecting it to cost more but for an oil change and to flush our system it was only $70. You could also get a coupon online before you go. We will absolutely be back for the great friendly service!

They did a good job. Short handed but kept the flow flinging. Took about an hour. Priced $89 for premium 59 for basic. Friendly and clean.

My truck never leaked oil in five years. I took it there for the first time for a quick oil change and now I'm dripping oil on my driveway.

UPDATE (11/10/25): I am updating my previous review to reflect the outstanding commitment and…read moreservice provided by Bob (Manager) and his team in resolving a very complex, long-running issue with my van's AC system. The Background (The Challenge): Over several months this summer, my 2016 Sienna required extensive HVAC service, totaling over $6,000. After a full front-end AC replacement and rear AC work, the system was cooling, but new problems arose: significantly reduced airflow and incorrect venting from the defrost vents. Since these issues did not exist before the dash was disassembled for the evaporator replacement, I suspected a reassembly issue. The Resolution (Why They Earned 5 Stars): When I brought the vehicle back, the management team (specifically Bob) stepped up to ensure the problem was addressed fairly. Labor Covered: The labor required to completely tear down and reassemble the dashboard to access and replace this actuator--which is the most expensive part of the repair--was fully covered by Christian Brothers as a warranty adjustment. Fair Compromise: The manager, Bob, proposed a fair compromise to split the cost of the replacement actuator part, saving me hundreds of dollars on the part alone. After investing heavily in my van, it was frustrating to have a subsequent issue. However, the management team at Christian Brothers listened, used the timeline I provided (no error codes before their work, reduced flow immediately after), and honored their responsibility to resolve the problem. This level of accountability and commitment to making the customer whole is why they continue to earn my trust and a 5-star rating. I highly recommend Christian Brothers, especially for their commitment to standing behind their work when issues arise. UPDATE (10/23/25): I've bumped my review to 3 stars because Christian Brothers is working with me to resolve the issue. I'll update the review to reflect the outcome. I've been a longtime customer and have always had excellent service from Christian Brothers in the past, which is why the recent experience with my van's AC system has been so disappointing. After spending over $7,600 and enduring three separate, lengthy visits, the AC system is still not working properly. My initial visit was on June 2nd because the AC wasn't blowing cold air. They replaced the schrader valves and performed an evac and recharge. A few weeks later, the warm air returned. On the second visit, they covered the cost of replacing one of the schrader valves again but then recommended a full replacement of the AC compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator core for the front system. This was a costly and extensive repair that was severely delayed due to a faulty OEM part being sent, leaving me without my vehicle for about a week. Still, the issue persisted. On the third visit, they determined the problem was with the rear AC system, recommending the replacement of the rear expansion valve and evaporator core. Again, this repair was delayed by a wrong OEM part, extending the time I was without my vehicle yet again. While the system is finally blowing cold air, it is still not functioning correctly following all the extensive repairs: - The airflow is significantly reduced--it no longer blows as hard as it did before these repairs began. This issue seemed to start after the second, major front-end repair. - We now get condensation forming on the windshield when the AC is running. Air is incorrectly coming out of the defrost vents by the window without the defroster being activated. These new operational issues, which were not present before, strongly suggest something was not put back together correctly during the multiple teardowns and rebuilds of the front dash. Given the continuous misdiagnoses, parts delays, and the fact that I've invested over $7,600 for a system that now has new defects, I feel incredibly taken advantage of and very disappointed. I expect the team to stand behind their work and immediately resolve these remaining performance issues at no further cost. But unfortunately they've told me that because it's past 30 days, I will have to pay for any additional labor for the issue they caused.

Other places were only willing to quote me on cost to run tests or they did not do work on my make model. Very satisfied I decided to go with CB to have my A/C compressor replaced. 1 day turnaround. Extremely friendly and very smooth process. Great communication over phone and via text with photos, videos and clear work order you can approve or decline suggested items. I also like that they are closed on weekends so it means they care about their employees and respect peoples time. Open from 7-6 so manageable for most to be able to drop off and pick up m-f. Shuttle service offered. I didnt need but nice to know. Would go back. Ps service is guaranteed.

Now we have to bring it to a dealership to get checked out. Update to review, we had to bring the car to a dealership to get checked out and they confirmed that there was 11 quarts of oil in the car that caused the leak and smoke. the pressure from this extra oil also caused the oil pan gasket to leak and the crankshaft to leak, the repairs will be $4,000 to fix, all because the car was overfilled by nearly twice the recommended oil amount

Husband brought our vehicle here for a routine oil change and drove it 1 mile home. Vehicle hadn't been driven for a couple days and what do you know- upon moving it, there was a puddle of oil. We took it back and as expected, they won't accept fault. Wouldn't even touch it. So here we go- having to take it into the dealership and pay to have this fixed- costing us more time & money!! By the way, dealership said the crack was due to over tightening. Imagine that. ZERO STARS This was…read morethe WORST auto service experience I've ever had. I went in for an oil change late in the day--about 45 minutes before closing on a Friday evening. I was about to begin my Uber shift and planned to drive for several hours afterward. The photo taken by their service technician in front of the building clearly shows NO DAMAGE to my vehicle. Roughly 45 minutes later, I left the location, got into my car, and drove away. About an hour into driving, I stopped for gas and noticed significant damage to the hood. The shop had already closed, so I called Saturday morning and was told to come back Monday to speak with the manager, Ken. Ken showed NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and no interest in hearing my explanation. His immediate response was that because I didn't report the damage before leaving the parking lot, they were not liable. I asked if they would review their surveillance footage, but that request was ignored. I also asked if there was any way this type of damage--appearing to come from a vertical impact onto the hood--could have occurred on-site. He dismissed the possibility, stating his team would have reported it. When I requested to speak with a senior manager, Ken said he had already escalated it, and they both concluded it was not Sun Devil Auto's responsibility because I did not report the issue before leaving. The entire conversation was focused on denying liability, with NO INTEREST in helping resolve the situation. My insurance company reviewed the photos and determined the damage was not caused by another vehicle. Additionally, I remained in my car the entire time after leaving the shop, so I would have noticed if the damage had occurred elsewhere. This matter has been reported to the Arizona Attorney General's Office - Consumer Affairs Division. Interestingly enough - this EXACT ISSUE HAPPENED TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER. I finally escaped dreadful California and moved here last year and started my search for a new shop…read morethat could service my Acura TL SH-AWD. This model is an extremely well performing car except for the dismal brakes, so I've been running some Rotora brakes for the past few years. They are aluminum billet, six piston fixed calipers with huge cross drilled rotors on floating aluminum hats. Basically Brembo CART knockoffs. These perform even better than the Brembo "throwaway" (i.e. un rebuildable) calipers on my Ferrari. Obviously, no shop is going to stock these parts, so I always have an extra set of pads and rotors on hand. I figured, "what better shop to visit to have the rotors and pads swapped out than Brakes Plus?" I walk in and ask the gentleman if they would be willing to install my parts. As an aside, I would never ask a shop to install my parts when they were also able to acquire them, that would just be unethical. As soon as the gentleman starts to answer, another older man steps up and starts treating me like I'm a 2 year old. The first man barely finished his sentence when the older man interrupts, "WELL HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU NEED NEW BRAKES???", to which I calmly replied, "my rotors are past the point of no return..." - "WELL HOW DO YOU KNOW THEY'RE PAST THE POINT OF NO RETURN???". At that point, I just said, "You know, no worries, I"ll take care of it", shook my head and walked out. I tried HonTech in (I think) Tempe(?) I'm still trying to find my way around. They wouldn't help me either. I tried another shop, "HonMan", in Tempe (by the college) and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. These guys are absolutely top notch. Prompt, honest, fair prices, Honda/Acura experts. I admonish anyone with a Honda or an Acura to pay HonMan a visit. More local businesses would do well to take 30 seconds to get to know their target audience before making assumptions.
