After having a long day Keith at the Pooler location was very friendly. My service was completed quickly and professionally.

After cracking one of my rims, I was quoted over $300.00 for a new rim and installation at…read moreGrainger. I contacted Savannah Tire to get a price estimate and Anthony informed me that while Savannah tire doesn't stock rims, I could buy one online and bring it in and have it installed for $25.00. After my my rim arrived ( Walmart.com FTW! ) I called to make an appointment, and we were could come in right away. The install was done within minutes and we were on our way! Im so grateful to have finally found a honest, affordable and friendly tire center. Anthony, Josh and the rest of the team are all great and I highly recommend this location for all your tire / wheel needs.

Before I say anything else, I want to make two things clear: (1) Mavis is a good company. I have…read morebrought my vehicles to various branches for years, and they've generally provided good, trustworthy service; (2) in the end, the District Manager resolved the complaint I am about to share with you in a fair, professional manner: I received a refund for parts and services not provided. I had all the evidence to prove it (ALWAYS keep a paper trail, ALWAYS inspect, and ALWAYS take photos!) So, let me start with a warning: if you bring--or have ever brought--your vehicle to the Pooler Mavis location for parts and service, you ABSOLUTELY MUST check to ensure that they have performed the services you requested and provided you the parts you paid for. Long story short: I paid for rear brake calipers, four rotors, and two sets of brake pads, front and rear. I would have done the job myself but we had just had a baby so I didn't have time. Anyway, a few months later, I went to change the tires, and--low and behold--I find that they never touched the old rusted calipers, never changed the rotors, and never changed the rear pads! I paid nearly 2K for a set of front brake pads! Needless to say, I was furious. The Manager came up with some lame excuses and put up a pitiful defense. He begged for a second chance, and I foolishly gave it to him; but I set down some conditions, one of which was that I had to see the parts beforehand and watch them as they were installed. Unbelievably, he couldn't even show me the rotors, yet he rushed my vehicle up onto the lift to do God-knows-what with it! Of course, I will never take my vehicle there again, and I suggest that you stay as far away as possible until Mavis changes management. But I repeat: Mavis is a good company, and they did the right thing in the end. The Pooler location just doesn't deserve the name.
