"I own a small business based in Savannah, and I travel quite a bit for work. My industry, like…read moremost, is demanding in terms of showing up, being on time, being dependable, and not ever keeping people waiting. Because of this, my work vehicle is, in many ways, one of the most critical pieces of equipment that I own. On a recent work trip, I was returning to Savannah from Orlando, and I had MAJOR engine trouble on Interstate 95 in the middle of the night that stranded me an hour and a half from home. Because of previous wonderful experiences with Automotive Services of Savannah (Auto Intensive Care #2) I knew immediately that I would have my vehicle towed there. I choose to take my vehicles to Automotive Services of Savannah for two main reasons. The first reason is that the service I receive there is not only exemplary, but it is fast and reasonably priced. There is clear communication throughout the entire service period and the repairs are done by extremely qualified folks who are not only skilled but honest. This brings me to the second reason why I choose to take my vehicles to this location. Lynn and the people at her shop are not only reliable, dependable, and honest, but they operate their business with integrity and human decency. Throughout this most recent bout of engine trouble, Lynn took the time to not only understand and accommodate my personal situation, but she went out of her way to provide helpful advice and many times - out of the kindness of her heart - just provided a listening ear. She and her team have gone above and beyond any reasonable expectation of customer service, even allowing me to store my van at their shop at no charge for over a month while I battled with my insurance provider. I think it comes down to this: Car trouble can happen at any time - regardless of other things that may be happening in tandem in your personal life. It doesn't stop just because you have a family emergency or other "life stuff." Because of this, it's important to have folks working on your vehicles that will not only repair them, but treat you with dignity and decency and understand the stress you may be going through. Nobody wants to be dealing with engine trouble. It's scary and expensive, and if you use your vehicle for business, it represents a significant period of downtime during which you can't really provide service to your clients. BUT - if you find yourself in a situation where you DO need service or repairs and you don't want to feel uneasy about the integrity of the folks doing the work, take your vehicle to Automotive Services of Savannah (Auto Intensive Care 2.) They have truly reframed the way I look at auto repair shops."

I would do your research and price check before using this business. I have no doubt they took advantage of me from being out of state and not being able to take my car somewhere else without paying for another towing fee.

After two test drives where…read morewe felt that it wasn't driving safely, we told the mech that it was still very loose in the steering. We were told that it was tightened as much as possible. However, it was very apparent that something was wrong, the vehicle was veering all over the road. We got a second opinion from a mechanic off post and the diagnostic concluded that the front end was installed wrong. Parts that were touching should not have been; they should be free. Upon calling and attempting to recover part of our funds for the installation being done improperly, we were met with denial of any wrongdoing before the owner would even look out our evidence. Instead he decided to find our vehicle based off of our home address(misuse of personal information) and phone harass us and our new mechanic. My front end was reinstalled by a different mechanic off post and now it drives as it did prior to the accident. It was their recommendation that I attempt to get a refund from New Beginning. They said that the work done was very rushed and not done correctly. Because of the improper installation, the alignment could not have been done. This shop charged me for a diagnostic (was not done), an alignment (was not done), and to install my front end (done improperly). Refused our diagnosis from the new mechanic before even looking at our vehicle. They still have not provided a refund for the shotty, rushed work that they did. I would not recommend this place at all. They will gaslight you into believing they did good work and not care to fix any of their mistakes. Go off post if you don't want to be stolen from and taken advantage of. I've never met such dishonest and rude people in my life.

Bart has been my wife's and my mechanic for over 14 years now. I am now 65 years old and I can tell…read moreyou that in today's modern times, it is almost impossible to find a personal mechanic who has his customers needs at heart. This is easy to explain because so many auto shops are commercialized. But Bart is old school and has a big heart and will help to get the best deal on all parts or anything else he can do to help the customer by keeping the final bill as low as possible while delivering some of the highest quality work I've seen in decades. As of this writing, I am waiting for Bart to finish up on air-conditioning work. He called me and told me there was no fluid whatsoever in the system. I found this incredulous because I had spent over $1200 at another shop in St. Mary's Georgia to do a complete makeover with my air-conditioning system. Bart found a tool that was left by that shop which is used to take off/put on hoses, still attached to the coupling. That tool was the culprit in causing the massive leak. I am living in Jacksonville Florida. This is yet, just another example of why it is worth my while to drive all the way from Jacksonville Florida to Savannah Georgia to have Bart work on my car. Do you know what this is called folks? TRUST! it is almost impossible to find any company or set of mechanics who you can truly trust. My wife and I trust Bart and will always have him as our personal mechanic.
