December 29, 2025 I was completely taken advantage of at the Mavis tires and brake location at 1511 Pooler Parkway, Pooler, GA 31322. I arrived at the location at 10 AM, expressing concerns to the general manager, Jason, that my steering wheel was loose. I explained how my steering wheel was flipped upside down, yet my tires were straight and that it was a safety concern. He told me the parts that were needed to fix my steering wheel. Trusting him, I agreed to have the parts replaced. I returned 2 hrs later & was told that my car was fixed. I took the car on a test drive, & the car was doing the same thing. I alerted Jason who also test drove the car & agreed the car was not fixed. He stated another part was needed in order to fix the steering wheel. I agreed, still entrusting in you all. I was called back 3 hrs later by the store manager, and was told that my car was fixed. Upon arrival, Jason was gone & the store manager made my experience even more dreadful. He did not greet me at all upon arrival & totally disregarded my presence, but I watched how he readily greeted 2 Caucasian women with a big smile. Again, I test drove my car & it still was not fixed. While test driving, I asked 2 techs to witness that my car was still not repaired. Both techs agreed and expressed concern for the amount of money I paid and the time that I had spent at the shop. The mechanic Mick, was totally dismissive, never communicating with me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and seemed irritated that he was asked repeatedly to work on my vehicle. The store manager, who continued to be extremely friendly with only the Caucasian customers, lied and stated I was "using the f bomb" & that I needed to "calm down". He later apologized for lying, stating "oh I thought that's what I heard you say". One tech witnessed how he completely lied, stating "I never heard you say that once". $420.17 later, my steering wheel is still loose & I am traumatized by how I was treated at this location.

Woke up and found my Ford had a flat. Now, this tire I had previously patched, so I knew it was going bad. I visited a few tire places on a Sunday morning, and they were slammed. I ended up at Mavis in Pooler (near Lowe's), and Alexis greeted me. Super friendly, I formed me they could get me in, but it would be a few hours. Not a problem at all since she at least made me aware! I sat for a while, and about an hour later they pulled my car back. I went, grabbed some lunch, came back and my car was sitting in the parking lot waiting for me. I got two new tires, rotation, and an alignment. I have used them in the past, and will definitely use them again! Super easy to work with, location is convenient, and clean!

After getting my shocks replaced I started hearing a noise coming from the right front tire, I brought this up two or three times to the mechanics, well he didn't actually inspect anything just drove it around, then told me the shocks were settling, which I did not believe was accurate. Finally yesterday afternoon I took it and got an inspection done at Firestone and the mechanic at Firestone indicated they did not think the transmission mount was replaced or the other strut was replaced either and he did not push my axle in all the way. Firestone told me my car is extremely unsafe and to be very careful when taking right turns. I sent the reports over to the mechanics to which he initially would not address the issues. Please avoid! I paid for services that were not completed. The mechanic in question was Yandres. Now mind you, they did finally come out and fix the issues but it was only after I threatened legal action. Seems to me like the mechanic was pocketing my money and not replacing parts. It never should have gotten to this point, they should've done what they needed to do and it would've been fine.

I am sad to report this final update. A week or so after the work was done, I began to hear a…read moremetal rattle when the vehicle was first started in the morning. I would hear the rattling for a few minutes till the vehicle warmed up, then it went away. The 2nd time it happened, the transmission had difficulty leaving park and going into reverse. I called the Lincoln dealership in Savannah as the owner of this mobile service made it clear, he was not interested in continuing our relationship based on previous interaction. JC Lewis Lincoln said the transmission was 2 QUARTS LOW on transmission fluid and that the procedure for post startup and lubricating the planetary gears didn't seem to be followed, which I can confirm, the vehicle was NOT driven per the Lincoln dealership requirements. It is now obvious to me, that the Lincoln Procedure for transmission fluid flush was NOT followed and it is probable that the tech did not know what was required and by extension is NOT CERTIFIED to work on a Lincoln. I am fortunate to catch this HUGE and unacceptable mistake and have it rectified before severe consequences. CAUTION: BUYER BEWARE.

AMAZING MECHANIC! Dear Anthony (owner) of Express Oil Change…read more& Tire Engineers.... I want to start by saying thank you. As I left my shift at the hospital and stopped at Publix I never thought coming out from grabbing a few groceries that my car would not start (not even crank). Sudden stress and anxiety hit. My husband tried trouble shooting and we even bought a new battery. Then he walked across the street (on a Sunday) where you personally greeted him and invited him to tow the car over and leave it overnight. You (Anthony) personally ran the diagnostic ($150) and troubled shooted the car; prioritized helping an urgent situation for a family new to the Pooler area. They don't just do tires and oil, they are full service!!!! You found the issue, fixed it immediately (once confirming with us to move forward) and eased all stress/anxiety/worries I had. Sunday I had no working car, now Monday I do. If you're looking for a mechanic/business who has amazing communication, prioritization like no other, and shows appreciation for your business; you've won us over! Give them the time to do the right job; anyone can rush a sale, but winning a customer takes effort!

The gentleman immediately started working on my car and checking out the lights and blinkers. Within minutes I was done. The only downside was after the oil change another gentleman assisted with clearing the code on the dash and walked off with my hood still up and propped and no one to guide me out over the raised bay. Finally after I closed my hood another gentleman ran over to guide me out. Not sure what got them so distracted after they got my money and felt like the job was done.

A month after I had my outback I had an issue (fixable) but still an issue, I had no one to call, had no clue what to do, I called Mike.
