These boys did a phenomenal job setting me up with 4 new tires Last minute. They even stayed late getting the alignment done(picture)! They were eager to help and answer any questions along the way! Even gave me a tip about not using metal tire valve caps. Oops! It really seems like this shop takes pride in their work. Highly recommend!! read more

Not enough people working at desk. Really long waits just to pick up a car or tire. The folks who work there are nice though.

I visited the discount tire on Abercorn at around 11AM on the 20th. Despite being packed with every staff member busy they were able to help me by patching my tire for free. Waiting in the store I witnessed exceptional customer service from multiple staff members not just towards myself but other customers as well. Kind, helpful and patient I definitely will be returning for future tires. Thank you to the hard working guys at Discount Tire! read more

I ordered a rear wiper that they neglected but were super helpful to get a wiper that fit. Driving away I had to turn on asphalt that made a squeal. I had them check the tires for clearance because it sounded like rubbing and scraping. Tire was fine. Customer service was top notch. Quick to resolve issues. Bought Korean tires for $105/tire. 4 tires installed out the door, $540. Quite a bit of savings from the $1100 cost at Savannah Toyota. Was happy I didn't buy a Chinese tire to save money. read more

Around 4:30 today my boss let me borrow his jeep, because my car had to be towed to the mechanic. He said he thought he had a nail in his tire. I offered to take it to get fixed and he said to take it to Discount Tire on Abercorn. I called because it was getting close to closing time and they said as long as I got it here before 6 they would definitely take a look at it. I did so, and they took care of it. The great customer service was followed through by an awesome staff. It was so easy and all the guys were great. I was beyond impressed. They look like they enjoy what they do and enjoy working together. Seems like they work together as a team very well. You wouldn't think it was so close to closing by how attentive they were. I bought my last set of tires from Sam's Club. I did this because of the deal of free plugs and/or $20 replacement tires, for the life of the tire. Next set I'm coming here because this is true southern hospitality GREAT customer service. I spoke with Hunter on the phone and Joe helped out when I got here but all of the guys were great. I'd give 11 stars if I could! read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Savannah, Georgia

I got tires for me and my daughter here after much research for tires stores and tires in general. This place has solid reviews over a few platforms so I decided to go here even though there are much closer shops to where I live. I would recommend this place for tires. I initially called for a quote over the phone. I did have to mention the discount available for the tires I was getting a quote for. I'm not sure if they would have found it when I made the purchase or not. You can't order the tires over the phone. You have to either go in or order them on the internet. I went in so if they need to see my car or tires id have it and I would order the right tires. My tires were not in stock but they had them available the next morning. My appointment for putting the tires on was a Friday and it took about an hour. My daughter's tires were in stock. They said they could install them that day. We didn't have the car with up so we opted on a Saturday appointment. The Saturday installation of the tires took an hour and 45 minutes. They really push selling you new wiper blades. Everyone in the shop was very nice. The waiting room has lots of seating. There are also a lot of places you can walk to while they put on your tires. They send you a text message when the car is ready for pick up. read more

Discount Tire was one stop shopping for my vehicle's tires. I woke up to a flat tire, yep emoji angry face! With my spare on the car I drove to Discount Tire in a not so wonderful mood I'm willing to admit. First, let me say the outside & inside of the store/garage is very clean! I was surprised at how clean the garage itself was honestly. There are so many shelves of tires! If they don't have what you need have no fear! It can be ordered, you only have to ask. The store/waiting area has Covid precautions taken which I was happy to see. There is hand sanitizer on almost every surface. Masks are required for everyone including anyone who works at Discount Tire. There are shields around the registers. Along with stickers on the ground to keep everyone at a six foot distance. There are small tables & chairs that are socially distanced so customers are comfortable while they wait. A large window looks into the garage with a bar and chairs inside the store. If you want to watch the technicians work on your car you can do so comfortably. Restrooms are directly towards the back of the store. As soon as I got out of my car I was greeted. Then was asked if I needed any help. A technician took me inside to one of the managers, TJ who helped me. TJ was wonderful! He quickly looked up my info and which tire I needed. When the technician looked at my car he realized my other tire needed replacement as well. TJ came and informed me. But said they did not have anymore of my tires in stock. He told me that he would give me a more expensive tire at the same price as the other one they were putting on. Yes, he price matched it for me! That's great customer service! Of course I said yes! & thanked him for offering that option to me. It took only 40 minutes to replace my two tires. That is the total of time from when I was greeted outside of my car, to when the technician handed me back my keys, & pulled my car directly around to the door. Talk about quick & efficient service! read more

If I could give them 10 stars I would they are amazing! Everyone there is always attentive and kind and working hard to help everyone. I've been there a good bit this year with general replacing and a couple nail to the tire incidents. I was on my way home and noticed one of my tires almost out (nail in tire again) and headed straight over. Despite them being absolutely packed and trying their best to get everyone taken care of they still let me get my tire repaired even with it being 5:30 when I arrived and them closing at 6. I knew it would be a wait since I saw the packed parking lot. They got my car in as soon as they finished with the clients ahead of me and had my tire repaired in 30 minutes (20 minutes earlier than the estimated time) and with a huge smile on their faces. These guys are amazing and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my tires! read more

This is my second time here. I scheduled an appointment for 8:00 (that's what time they opened) when I got here I found out there was 5 people ahead of me plus they already had 3 cars on the lift..not including the people ahead of me. I paid for my tired and was told it would be an hour and 30 minutes wait for my one tire to be installed. If I knew how long I would had to wait I would have tried somewhere else. Other than that service was fast. The only thing was their WiFi wasn't working so I had to sit here. I wish they had a tv to watch or even some coffee they could have offered. read more

wait times low key crazy. they lie to you about when it's gonna be done. just very inconvenient

I came to this place yesterday for a patch repair, found out the tire needed to be replaced. I spoke with the gentleman upfront and was informed the tire for my car wasn't available, They would have to order it. Set my appointment the following day for 10am - tried to call and no one would answer. I didn't receive an answer till 12:34 and was told my tire would arrive between 1pm-2pm - I asked the guy if he could please call me back when it arrived because I had work and needed it done as soon as possible, considering my appointment was at 10am. I never received a phone call- I called back at 2:18 and Jake answered and immediately helped. My tire was here all along and he apologized for the inconvenience. The gentleman from the day before, ALSO got the wrong size of my tire and didn't properly measure it - If it were not for Jake, I would still be calling this store and not receiving proper customer service. He got me in quickly and made up for this stores lack of customer service and fixed the issues. I will ONLY go to his store on Mall Blvd now. Highly unprofessional and I was lied to TWICE by someone else at this location. Save yourself the go around and go to the one on Mall Blvd & request Jake. Thank you Jake for the help and getting my car fixed immediately!!! read more

Anniversary road trip to Savanna, GA. On 12/29/22 a little after 7 pm, unfortunately, ran over something on the highway blew out both tires on the passenger side, and damaged the back tire rim. The following morning towed the car to Costco. Costco did not have my tire sizes, I call Discount Tires I was in luck they got me in and out in no time with tires and rim. Customer service from the whole staff was AWESOME!!!! I left my damaged tire rim there, got back to south Florida in a couple of days, and called Discount Tires back to ask if they still had the tire rim fortunately for me they did. Discount Tires shipped the tire rim back to me free of charge. AWESOME! read more

I was in and out before my appointment time. Great customer service and friendly employees

From checking in to completion, the staff at Discount Tire were courteous and professional. I live on Savannah's Eastside but I will definitely continue being a customer. Thanks again! read more

I am a very long time customer of Discount Tire and was very happy that they now have one open here in Savannah. Their outstanding service and price is the best. After buying all my four tires from them I never have to worry about my tires again. They remind me to bring it in for rotation and balance. They provide free air and checkup. They fix my tire if I have a flat and if my tire is not repairable they replace it. That simple. If anyone here in Savannah is not familiar with them look them up. Most importantly they don't try and sale you something you don't want. They try and Match your budget with what's best available. Great service all around. Now, I am basing my review on my experience with the Duluth GA location and one time here in Savannah. read more

Awful, my brother has an 1985 Astrovan. He called this place and asked if they were willing to do back brakes. They are drum brakes so they require a bit more time. They said sure but had to order the brakes. No problem right. They told him to bring it in and so he made an appointment. We got there and first they said they couldn't find the brakes but after an hour and a half they find them but said they didn't have his name on them and hoped they were his. Then said they were too busy to do them that day so he had to bring it back. Now 5 days had pasted. He gets another appointment and I dropped him off. They said he shouldn't wait for it. Then when he went to leave his van wouldn't start so they were going to look at it while they had it at their convenience. Now a week later we go to try and get his van home and it started up with a jump. The girl at the desk said they they thought it may be wiring and they don't specialize in that but when my brother saw the mechanic he told him he never looked at it cause he was so busy. So clearly they didn't want to deal with the Astrovan and just lied again. I won't use them for my own SUV. And they gave him at price of 400 bucks to do the breaks than days later it was over $650 read more

This place is great. One of my tires had a slow leak. Discount Tire found and repaired it promptly and did not charge me for it (apparently the store policy!) They also found a problem with another obscure brand tire which was not in stock, but they ordered it from their partner Tire Rack for next day delivery. Zack was very helpful in submitting a claim on my behalf to the wheel and tire insurance policy that I had bought from the car dealer at time of purchase. (Thanks so much Zack!) Also thanks to Eric for finding the problem with the other tire - this could have been a big problem with an up and coming 1000 mile road trip. Everything was performed efficiently with courtesy and professionalism. I am glad that I found Discount Tire in Savannah. read more

I got a nail in my tire and needed a quick fix before I could keep driving on it. Went online, found discount tire and made an appointment for the next day. Went in, was the perfect experience. Everyone was nice, and not pushy like typical salesmen and we were in and out in less than half an hour! Would recommend to anyone who has tire-related (or windshield wiper) needs! read more

Discount Tires saved of vacation! We were driving from V.A to Savannah mid way in Florence North Carolina our tire blew out. My husband & our 14yr old helped change it to a spare. We drove 50mph on 95 to Savannah. While my hub was driving I was searching for a location to get the tires changed. Surprising there was no place available the next day. I searched pep boy, Costco,Wal-mart,Sam's B.J you name it. DISCOUNT TIRE website showed plenty of tires available and was ready to see us the next morning. So thank you to discount tires!! read more

I ended up with a flat tire and my husbae recommended Discount Tire. I was able to make a same day appointment but showed up earlier than my appointment time to check in. I needed a tire repair. There was a nail in my tire. It was a Saturday, "Sure, come on in, and there's no charge for the tire repair." I arrived, and my tire was checked. " I'm sorry, Ma'am, but we can't repair your tire. However, we do have a great selection of new tires." No, I said, that's a fairly new set that's on there. I need a tire repair. "I'm sorry, we can't help you, but you do need new wipers." I was offered economy wipers @ $12 each or the premium @ $22 each. I chose the premium, but I'm not sure which were put on my car. I did find somewhere to get my tire repaired. I'm not going back there again. read more

Well, because of the GREAT customer service as stated in my last review, I have been back twice. First time back, I bought two tires and had them installed on the car. Second time, I bought another two tires and again had them installed. Both times - great - friendly service in a timely fashion. I am a loyal customer now ;-) read more

My tire pressure light kept coming on and I figured I had a nail in it. I took it to Goodyear on Whitemarsh because they are very close to where I live. After 2 hours waiting, they finally said that there are nails in 2 tires and they both cannot be repaired. They wanted me to pay over 240 for new tires when I just got these tires in July. I left because I had a bad feeling about what they were telling me. Upset, I took a chance on discount tire. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness and respect. An hour later they have patched both tires. As I waited in line waiting to pay something, the guy who helped me said "you're all set-your car is outside." I did a double check and made sure he was talking to me. There was NO charge for those tire patches. That tells me a lot about the company. I will no longer go anywhere else, besides Discount Tire!! Thank you! read more

They were quick and thorough! My car was in and out real quick with new tires on it. Thank you!

We had a tire that kept losing air, to the degree that I had to add some every day. It's a long story, but I was under the impression that it was something other than a puncture. We are a long way from home, so we looked online and found Discount Tire. Not only did they quickly get us set up to diagnose the issue--it was a puncture after all--but they fixed this as a courtesy and didn't charge us a penny. When the day comes that we need new tires, we will be back there. They really did right by us, and they did it with great courtesy and a smile. I can't thank them enough! read more
