Yesterday marked my fifth visit to MasterFlow on 19th Street. I have had three inspections done…read morethere, one oil change, and yesterday I had a transmission flush performed. I return to this business over and over as they never fail to make the customer feel like they're their first priority. From the minute you pull up to the moment you leave they make you feel welcome and go out the way to be helpful. Initially yesterday I had called them and asked if they were able to perform an actual pressurized transmission flush, not just a drain and fill. Moreover, I wanted to know if they would give me a price break if I brought my own transmission fluid. I own a Honda Accord that is still under warranty and using anything other than Honda ATF is a big no no. "No problem" was the response, "and sure, we have the machine necessary to do a flush, and it'll cost you $50 if you bring your own oil." For the record, this service is posted on their pricing chart as $99.99 (Honda dealer price $199.99) I showed up, was put straight on the ramp and they took care of my car in 30 mins while I waited. They also washed all the windows, fixed all the tire pressures (my low tire pressure light was on), filled-up my washer fluid bottle, and reconnected the protective plastic tray/pan that sits under the engine / transmission as it was loose and scraping on the road some times - all at no extra charge. Plus, when I checked-out, the guys gave me a $5 discount and a free calendar just because they're great service folks and want to take care of their customers. I won't take my vehicles ANYWHERE else in the Lubbock area and encourage you to give this family a chance to service your vehicles too.

Snarky employees, hidden fees, and unknowledgeable about current promotions. I won't be coming back…read morehere. I was told on the phone that oil changes for $44.99 + tax would be my total. That the oil filter was not extra, and was included. After I arrived, I had to wait for a coupon to be texted to me for the $44.99 oil change. Oil filter was extra $6, shop fee of $5, and one of the employees kept making comments about the coolant, insinuating that I was stupid for not getting a coolant change. Look, I know I need coolant, but perhaps I could do it myself for cheaper. Regardless, very unprofessional. The text was taking too long so I ended up just using a military discount. The military discount wasn't as large as the current promotion. ($20.50 off vs $25 off respectively) but the tech assured me the military discount was greater. Found out it wasn't. Tried contacting customer service, and was put on hold inevitably. I also partly blame management for not informing the guys on the floor about promotions. They should know what a customer is talking about when they talk about current promotions. Also customer service wasn't available. A company should act in unison, not a bunch of individuals. 1 star service.

He even told me the filter door had been left opened somehow (no clue here, as this was our first oil change in this vehicle) and there were leaves in there.
