After going to Take 5 (when I always trusted Bolton's before - knowing I had an oil leak from Take 5's last service and having them tell me,"it's too hard to tell what's leaking", I went to Rapid Oil Change. There was no wait. They were friendly and kind and respectful. They were able to tell me exactly what part was leaking oil, and they were so nice about it. Saw a recommendation for this place online and decided to give it a try. Sometimes recommendations online aren't the best, but I'm glad that I paid attention to this one. That was several months ago and I haven't gone anywhere else since! I work during the week, so I get my oil changes done on Saturday mornings. The last time that I was there, I noticed that they offer a discount for military (both active duty and veterans) on Mondays. I told the cashier that both my husband and I are veterans and asked about coming in on a Monday to get the discount. I thought that I would be told that I would need some kind of proof of our service and to return on a Monday. Instead, the cashier said "Thank you for your service." and gave me the discount right then and there! No documents were needed. This discount saved me more than ten dollars. Not only will I be back, but I advised my husband to bring his truck in for oil changes. I vaguely remember seeing a discount for First Responders and I think that they have other discounts as well. So you need to check for yourself to see if they have any discounts you qualify for. read more

I went in for an oil change...getting rid of Castrol oil that Take 5 put in. I arrived at 8am. They changed the oil...back to Quaker State 5W30. They were efficient and had 4 techs working on me. I have used Rapid Oil Change for years. They always give friendly, superior service - and don't try to sell me things I don't need. On my most recent trip they did two things that stood out; they showed me my air filter when they recommended changing it next time, and when I asked about the "Like our facespace page and get a free thing" special they just gave me the free thing! "You're a regular" he said. You can bet I'm gonna like their page anyway. These guys are great for oil changes, inspections, and little extras (like wiper blades). read more

My ac was blowing iceballs before I stopped by to get my oil changed. As soon as I pulled off the lot my ac was blowing nothing but hot air. It's over 100° f outside and they tried telling me it was probably out before I got there like I wouldn't notice if I was melting before I arrived. Then they proceeded telling me it's probably because I got my car from carizma, as if my dealership matters. My ac worked before I got there, then didn't when I left. They proceeded to be ruder and ruder the more I told them there was no way in the drive out of the lot that I broke my own ac. Then they told me to leave that they couldn't do anything. :( So now here I am in 100° weather with no ac but wow atleast my oil is changed now I guess. These guys are amazing! I went in to my truck checked (found fluid leaked out in the street in front of my house) thinking it was an oil leak. I just had my changed last week. I thought maybe something had come loose. Turns out I had a huge transmission leak. They told me to take it to the transmission shop (A-1 Transmission) pronto! I came here because I heard the commercials on the radio and I liked the idea of Veteran discounts etc. I got my oil changed and the kid obviously was trying to upsale me. He tries to tell me I need a new air filter, I say not this time but I will do it next time. Then he comes back nervous while trying to do the next up sale. I figured he was just new. He says my power steering fluid is almost black and needs to be changed soon. "It's cheaper to get this taken care of now. Have you had any problems turning yet?" I said no and I asked how much that would cost me and he said $79. I told him I would have to wait on that too. I left. A few days later I went to another place to get my power steering fluid looked at. They showed me my fluid was very clear. Absolutely the most shady place to get your oil changed. I've been bringing my truck here for years now and suddenly the price is now magically $80 dollars more. ( I get told this fact after it was done so I have no choice to cough up and pay) it gets brought up to management and they say that the best they can do is give me 10% off which is the daily special anyways. Horrible way to treat clients and conduct business. After speaking high praise of them for years and sending everyone I knew their way my advice will be stay far far away. read more

Really disappointed in this place. It came highly recommended by owners of a shop here in town that are also close friends. Long story short, they left a gap between the intake hose and air filter housing which could've totaled my engine had it been a dust storm. It's extremely frustrating that something so simple was overlooked. Will not be spending my money here. read more

This is my first review of any business, we had the injector cleaning done and within 30 minutes the catalytic coverter light come on.I took it back and had it reset and it did it again. This was the second time in there region this had happened. Sent me to Universial Muffler ( I highly recomend them also) replaced all three catalytic converters on my Traverse and one O2 sensor,all at no cost to me.I will not get my oil changed anywhere else. The Traverse is getting two miles per gallon better mileage,the cleaning worked. This is a quality business with an outstanding management staff. I used these guys for years and was a happy customer. Not sure what changed, but the service went down hill... even to the point of trying to take advantage. After an oil change we noticed a burning smell. Opened the hood to find the engine covered in oil. The car is still under warranty, so we took it to the dealership thinking something bad had happened to the motor. Turned out that the dipstick was not put back in the hole, and oil was blowing out. Really annoyed, but accident's happen, and we continued to use rapid until I sent my daughter in for an oil change in my truck. They told her the oil in the rear axle was milky, meaning water had got in and needed to be changed. Being it was my truck and I don't drive through deep water i was suspicious and decided to come take a look for myself. I think the manager was caught off guard when i showed up and wanted to see the milky oil. He told me he said the oil was dirty, not milky. Like my daughter made up the "milky oil" story. It was clear to me what was happening. They were trying to take advantage of a young girl. We will never return. read more

Warning- double check your inspection report here I went and had my inspection report done here. Waited more than 20 minutes. A few weeks later I try to renew online and it won't let me. Go to county tax office and wait in huge line to be told Rapid Oil entered my VIN wrong and I would have to go back and get it fixed by them. No apology of any kind at Rapid Oil. I should have known better as I stopped going to get my oil changed here because they try to pressure you to buy extra services. read more
