I was today years old when I discovered this place. I live on the complete opposite side of town but my daughters goes to dance a few miles from here and now every time I need an oil change, I'll come here. Dropped her off, pulled up Yelp app and due to the great ratings, despite one other one just across the street from where I was, I came here. Service was thorough, efficient, professional and fast. There's like 5 people working on your car each with his/her own tasks. 15 things they check on their service checklist...oil change, oil filter(replaced), drain plug, plug gasket(replaced), air filter (I needed one $25 with $and $20 with a 5 off coupon), PS fluid, coolant(added), transmission, washer fluid(filled), wiper blades, cabin filter(N/A), oil level, windshield(cleaned), Tires(checked and air added). Final bill: $79.34 after $15.00 off total in coupons. When I called the staff member sent me a $10.00 coupon to my phone. Love that you can see everything being done, they get you in and out without you feeling like they're cutting corners and they have a small team doing each car to accomplish that! This is the only place I take my car for an oil change. I've been a customer since 2018 and the quality of their work is top tier. When you pull up you're greeted by an employee and given a bottle of water while you wait. You don't ever have to get out of your car and they explain everything to you. The prices are reasonable for the type oil that you need depending on your vehicle. If you go on their website they normally always have a coupon which is a plus. read more

I was getting the road checking my oil (acting like it) out of nowhere a gentleman with a Take 5 hat on asked if I required assistance; of course!!! He checked my oil (it was almost empty) and told me don't worry I could go to his location and it they would take care of me. His name was Francisco and he was right they took care of me! I've been to other locations and they are great. This location is another story.... The employees have zero cents of urgency. Most of the time they are standing around telling stories to each other while people are waiting. You can tell these guys are paid by the hour because they are in no rush to get people in and out of the shop. read more

I had a great experience from start to end! I called to see if they were open as we were having bad weather and the phone rep was very helpful by confirm the location and letting me know they were open. When I arrived the team (Jerrard, Andy,Jose,David and Benjamin) got right to it and were informative in letting me know what was recommended and needed. This was my first time visiting a Take 5 although I ride pass them often in the city. When I drove up the signs said to stay in your car which is definitely different than any other oil change that I've had. I was greeted by Obi, and given a water bottle. The process was extremely quick! Obi, entered my information into the system. He noticed my ride share signage hanging in my car and asked if I drive for Uber/Lyft. I said yes and he continued with the oil change. I chilled in my car listening to music as my oil change was taking place. Another employee asked me it I wanted a water- I told him that Obi has given me one. To my surprise I was given a discount and offered some fruit snacks! This was easily the quickest oil change that I have ever had. Obi, was nice enough to show me how to operate some controls on my steering wheel. My car is still kind of new so Im still figuring it out. If i could give a 6 star review, I would! I definitely honked my horn on the way out because I received excellent customer service. This is now my 3rd coming to this particular location. 1st time: they told me my oil cap was too tight and to go back to the one I went to before (which was 40 minutes away!) 2nd time: I arrived at 815am waiting behind a closed garage door for 9 minutes before someone came out and informed me they were having computer issues and could not open 3rd time: Literally the next day I come back after calling to verify they could do the oil change I was informed that they could and to come by. Upon arrival there is only 1 lane open with 2 cars prior to me. I waited over 45 minutes to be serviced. At this point I'm convinced no matter how convenient it is I will not return to this location. I've never had any issues with any other Take 5 even when traveling outside of Charlotte. read more

I Had my Kia Sorento oil change. They didnt put the splash guard back on the bottom of the engine. It also serves to protect vital engine parts from being hit from things that could get kicked up. I called they didnt care told me it wasnt there fault no way you can prove it was them. I emailed them they didnt respond. A survey did asking how the customer service was. I just wouldnt use this place. They cannot change the oil properly. read more

Im new to the Charlotte area just moved here from long Island ny. So I looked up take5 oil change I see that it's 7 minutes from where I live so I go there and I'm greeted by 3 young men. So before I even say what what I needed ! The guy opens my car door, he doesn't even ask me is it ok to open my car door to scan my VIN#. and at the same time the 2 guy says can you open your hood then the 3rd guy was already underneath changing my oil all of this is going on without me giving permission. Next im asked by the 1st young man to spell my first and last name then he gives me a total of 90.07$ I asked him why is my oil change that much money ive never spent that much on my oil change? Then he goes on to say to me about the prices in the economy is why this oil for my 2019 Nissan rogue is alot of money the cost is up . At that same time im calling my male friend cause im a woman at this oil change place I have no idea about having my oil change, I have him speak to these guys because I felt like I was being taken advantage of, they never gave me an option of what type of oil change or had prices up so I can tell them what I needed, he was trying to get me out so fast that I had to ask for my sticker for the inside of my window so I can know when the next one is due . I was looking for a place to go to get my oil changed on a Sunday because I work during the week, and by the time I get off, most locations, if not all, are closed, and I forgot to go Saturday. I turned to Yelp for help, and I found this place. I was reading the reviews and noticed they were open until 5:00 or 6:00 PM. I started going a little further, and I began to get scared because I saw other reviews that were really, really bad. Then I noticed Yelp added sponsored reviews for other businesses on the page. So I decided to do a deeper dive just to ensure that I was looking at only reviews for this place, and they were all outstanding. When I showed up there, I turned my vehicle off and left the music running, and I noticed that somebody was walking up to me with a bottle of water. I thought to myself that these reviews were really serious. It was hot out there, and it can get sweltering if you can't sit with your car running too long because you need to go to the gas station after your oil change. This young man brought me a bottle of water, which was super nice. I was behind a gentleman who asked me if I could back up so he could leave. I had a feeling that it was dealing with the reviews on Yelp, so I asked him, and he said it was why he was going. I did tell him that with Yelp adds sponsored reviews, and you may be looking at a different place, but he didn't listen. Not my circus, not my monkeys. So after the car in front of me pulled out, I pulled in, and they got to work. All the information they provided and everything they did for the price offered amazed me. It was roughly $100 for a high mileage oil change, including two brand new windshield wipers, as one was hanging on by a thread, and the other was completely missing, lol. All the young gentlemen working there are exceptional, extremely professional, and super helpful. First time going to this place and I was impressed. You stay in the car the whole time and they direct you into the bay. The main guy that directed me was nice, friendly, and had a good attitude. He was going everything that they would be doing. They showed you the air filters, so you can make a decision as well. They weren't pushy or trying to sell you anything you don't need. Their work ethic definitely lives up to its name. I pulled in and was greeted and given water by Adrion. He gave me prices and options for my oil type and the crew even topped off all my fluids and offered to change my air filter. I was about to start a 6 hour drive, so making sure my car was in tip top shape was important. I paid about $62 for a full synthetic oil change, which is a bit more than I expected. Luckily I was able to find a $5 coupon on their website. I usually go to Walmart and pay about $50 for the same services, but I'm usually sitting there for two hours waiting, smh. I was so impressed with how fast they did everything so I wasn't bothered to pay $62. Literally this was the best oil change experience I've ever had.
