My 19 year old teenaged daughter, who is a student, took her 2005 Honda Accord (almost 20 year old…read morecar) to your location and she requested for the "cheapest oil change". The manager on duty (Buddy) told her that the dealership recommends the synthetic oil at $85 per oil change! It doesn't matter what the dealership wanted, she wanted the cheapest oil change. We all know that the 20 year old car does NOT need an $85 oil change! She felt intimidated and pressured and did not realize that she had just paid for an $85 oil change. I called the next day (today) and spoke with Buddy who refused to credit her the difference between the $85 oil change and the cheapest oil change (a difference of $40). I didn't want a full refund, just a refund on the difference. Buddy refused to refund her the difference. I own a business as well so I understand upselling and commissions. The Take 5 employees told her she needed new wiper blades, air filters, blah blah blah. She said, "I'm a poor college student. I don't want any of that. I just want the cheapest oil change please." They still proceeded to give her the $85 oil change. I promised Buddy that I will post negative reviews, fill out the survey, blast this experience on social media and all of the Aggie Network. I'll tell all the Aggie Parents to never send their college students to Take 5 Oil change. We all know how strong the Aggie Network is. I didn't want anything free, but I gave him a chance to refund her and make things right with her, but he refused. So here I am, I'm going to post negative, yet honest reviews on yelp, the Better Business Bureau, social media, twitter, etc and I will share my terrible experience with every Aggie parent I know. Your business is unethical, overpriced, and I would never recommend anybody going to your establishment, especially if their child is a young 19-year-old girl who drives a 20-year-old car who simply requested for the "cheapest oil change".

I have gone to this lube center for a couple of years, now. They have never disappointed. However,…read moreI recently came in for an oil change. I was past due according to my mileage and the date since last serviced. The guys there checked my oil, and one came up to my window and told me that my oil was still really good, so it didn't NEED to be changed yet. He gave me the option of changing it anyway, or them just getting me a new sticker and sending me on my way. Meanwhile, another worker was checking my tires. He checked all my pressures and filled the tires to the appropriate pressure. He showed me an area where I had a piece of plastic stuck in my tire and told me that I should get it to a tire shop as soon as possible because my tires still looked brand new. I thanked him. You don't run in to people every day that are just looking to do the right thing. These guys could have made an extra buck on changing my oil, anyway. They sent me on my way with a new oil sticker, on the house, and a smile on my face. Thanks guys!

Other than being convenient to home, which YOU don't care about, I dig it because the staff, though all male from what I can tell ( maybe I just never run into the ladies) is not in-your-face or pushy. We ladies hate going to places where the staff is condescending. While I am not a gearhead, I know the specs on my particular car, the tire specs, how many motor mounts there are as opposed to how many on my other car, etc. I have a general idea of when i am getting bullshat. Even if I DIDNT know anything about cars, it's still inappropriate to treat people that way. You don't know about treating cancer, but if your oncologist treats you like a moron when you need his help, he's not fit for the job. So I never get that sense from these folks. They're courteous and the price is reasonable. For peripheral things it can be cheaper than your dealer. They wanted twice as much at the dealer to change the rear differential fluid, for example. They seem to have days when women/seniors/veterans get discounts, yay. To the reviewer who had to wait 'too long', I don't know what to tell ya..it's like any other lube place, you drive up, you get in line. If the line looks long, come back another time, you know? Or go to your dealer where you get an appointment time but pay more. (Bring cash if you tip, btw. They cannot add it to your credit card and I felt like a skunk when at least three people descended on my car and all I had was one five dollar bill cause no one uses cash anymore. You guys should campaign your boss to change that).

A technician advisor promptly returned my call, and we scheduled an appointment for an inspection. I am pleased to report that the camper was adjusted at no additional charge, which was greatly appreciated. Furthermore, I received my car back on the same day. The complimentary shuttle service they provided was also very convenient and helpful. The staff consistently displayed kindness and courtesy. They ensured I was back on the road safely and soundly. Thank you and God bless you all! Many thanks!

I have never needed a non-warranty mechanic before. They charged me to diagnose the problem and charged me $800 to repair the problem. Within 24 hours I had the same problem with my car that I had before leaving the car with them for several days. Obviously, the diagnosis was wrong and the repair unnecessary. I called them to ask what we needed to do next. They wanted to charge an additional $4000 to repair another diagnosis that may not repair my issue, Very disappointed that they didn't get the diagnosis correct and that they wouldn't work with me on crediting the unnecessary repair. Of course, I can't trust the next diagnosis.
