We had a meal here yesterday which for me was uneatable. First I had to send my glass of wine back as it tasted like vinegar. I ordered Chicken tikka Dhansak and Sag Paneer. The Sag was gluten-ace with the Paneer uncooked it was disgusting so I sent it back only for the waitress to say to me 'what do you want me to do'. I requested maybe it should be recooked, it returned exactly the same but with a bit of coriander thrown on the top! They again took the dish away never to be seen again! I tried my Dhansak but the chicken was uneatable also with the chicken tasting old and cooked so much it was dry and too hard to eat. My husband tried my dish and agreed the chicken had been cooked a number of times which had made it dry with a very odd taste. I suggested to the owner that he try the food which he refused!! We decided not to continue with our meal. They offered to deduct the Sag Paneer to which we insisted they deduct the chicken too, which he did. It's a shame as the restaurant is local to us and we love Indian food but we will definitely not be returning as our health is more important! read more
