We were hearing some great things about this restaurant sharing a name from one of Chaucer's unfinished tales. Unlike the story, the chefs here are great and give you a complete experience. They have a good selection of a la carte items and have a £30 lunch set menu with a starter, main and dessert.
I ordered the sheekh lamb kebab to start, the sea bass as a main, and the mango kulfi to finish.
Lamb was beautifully seasoned, tender and went well with the chutneys.
The main star was the fish. Perfectly cooked, tender and some of the skin was still crispy. It was served with a mustard aioli which had a very nice creamy spiced flavor. I highly recommend it. This was one of the nicest meals I had in town.
