The food is consistently excellent and there is an opulent feel to the decor. I particularly like the relaxed ambience. Fast food is not for me. It is one of the best indian restaurants in Essex I have eaten at with efficient and friendly staff. The food is excellent with some interesting new dishes and plenty of traditional curries too. It was exceptional in every aspect . The food was the best I have had for a long time . We had shared tandoori starters . The kebabs were cooked to perfection and the onion Bhaji was not oily. They dont have a license for alcohol, so you can bring your own, which saves you money - and they will even lend you a corkscrew if needed! The only downfall is because its so small, its virtually impossible to bring pushchairs in, and there are no highchairs available, so maybe this is one to try when you have a babysitter! The atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly, and its extremely popular, so making a reservation is highly recommended, especially at the weekend.
