Amazing food, generous portions and clean restaurant. Friendly service and attention.

Butter chicken was nicely creamy, aromatic, and had subtle sweetness. The saag paneer had rich creamy spinach sauce and tender paneer too!

Was heading back from a get-together up north with some friends. Given that it was dinner time; I was starving and looking to mix things up and went to take out some Indian food at Taj Express. Going in, the place had nice vibrant pictures of Indian dishes across the walls and Indian music in the background. I was pleasantly surprised to see some unqiue bone in chicken dishes on the menu, too! For dinner, I got the combo platter and selected the butter chicken & saag paneer, which came with Naan and a dessert. Moving on with my review, the food was very tasty and on par with places like Aruns Indian Kitchen! The butter chicken was nicely creamy, aromatic, and had subtle sweetness. The saag paneer had rich creamy spinach sauce and tender pieces of cheese. Naan had good char, and the rice pudding had been refreshing after consuming all those bold flavors. The combo meal was a great bang for my buck as I even had leftovers the next day, too. Overall, I highly enjoyed my combo meal and will come back here again soon to try other items on the menu. Final verdict 5/5. Nice work :)

Just don't bother... good reviews are mystifying. Taste: not really too happy with this; we tried the saag paneer, Bombay potatoes, channa masala and vegetable korma, with rice, naan and a dough-ball dessert, and the vegetable korma was tasty, but the channa masala was bland, the Bombay potatoes slightly undercooked, and the saag paneer was downright foul... more problems, the rice was really dry, the dough desserts had a nice syrup but the balls were stale, and the naan was actually horrible- the naan tasted like it was soaked in butane. It was nasty. Service: they have a small sitting area, but it's basically order at the counter... and it's one of those -laces that asks for a ti- when you order, which I absolutely loathe (like, your food is being held hostage at that point). It took 20 minutes to make; the photos that make it seem like cafeteria style are misleading. Decor: it's awful, with sagging and deteriorating ceiling tiles screaming "Get Out." Price for quality: $12.99 for a lunch combo with two main choices, rice, naan and the small dessert; in terms of quantity, it was almost a fair price, but the taste made this a total waste of money and time. Beers: no, just $2.50 soda, water and some $4 fruit drinks

We ordered delivery. I love Indian food and when I see a dry curry, I will give it a shot.... well... you be the judge, first pic is what I received, second image is what I ordered. You don't need to be an "Indian cuisine connoisseur" to see what I'm talking about. When I phoned the restaurant, the lady (thank you) was nice enough to contact Grubhub for me and I received a refund.

I decided to try this place because it was recommended to me by a friend. Upon entering it was a very welcoming ambiance. The walls have a wonderful mural depicting their culture with elephants and people going about daily life and such. I was greeted with a huge smile by the kind register cashier who patiently waited for me to decided my order. I got the Thali Platter, which included an Entree, a side and dessert, And a Fresh Mango Lassi. My entire order Including tip was $27.48. Guys let me tell you, for how delicious the food was the price was WORTH IT!! 10/10 recommending this place and trust I will be back :))

This was my first time ordering Tandoori salmon- which was delicious. The Bindi and Paratha were very satisfying! Our server was one of the owners Rom Patel- who was helpful in helping us decide what to order and very welcoming. We will definitely come back! However, many of the main dishes came out less than hot (temperature wise). Ram the owner is very pleasant and helpful. Nice ambiance. My take: food not better than less expensive venues. Thus I cannot give it a great review because getting there is really inconvenient. Parking in Mizner is always a hassle. We gladly paid the $10 valet fee plus tip for the lot directly across from the restaurant. Bottom line: Average food. High prices. Inconvenient location. Even my wife sees no reason to return.

So many places in the area are mediocre at best, which made finding this gem such a pleasant surprise. We started with the samosas and the chili chicken appetizer (which my husband and I shared), and both were outstanding. For dinner, I had the Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan, and my husband ordered the Chicken Korma. Every single dish was packed with flavor, perfectly prepared, and some of the best Indian food we've had anywhere--not just in South Florida. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The restaurant itself is also beautifully decorated, creating a wonderful atmosphere that elevates the entire dining experience. This place deserves all the recognition it can get. Honestly, if Michelin stars were awarded based solely on flavor, hospitality, and consistency, they'd be in the conversation. We will absolutely be back, and I can't wait to bring friends and family here. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

It is a separate restaurant with its own entrance and much larger inside than anticipated. Parking is around the perimeter of the building. There was only one other table occupied when we were there. The limited lunch menu is quite reasonably priced. Of the 11 entrees, only 4 had some sort of meat; the others were vegetarian. We both chose the lamb curry, mild spice. This was a dollar extra. All meals include soup, salad, naan and rice. The lentil soup was very good. It was brought out even before we ordered. A single plate of salad came next. We didn't realize it was to be shared. It was basically a plate of iceberg, a tomato slice and a few cucumber slices with Italian dressing. Then a basket with nicely charred plain naan bread. Finally a larger plate of rice to share and our entrees of lamb curry. The lamb meat was very tender although there wasn't that much of it. There was a lot of sauce. The mild was truly so -- pretty bland but pleasant. I'm glad we came to check them out. The restaurant had been bookmarked on my Yelp app quite sometime ago. Now I know.
