I take two of my gals every other month for summer trims, they have sensitive bellies so I always request they not be shaved to avoid razor burn. The last place I was taking them would only follow this request half the time but I have not had a single issue with GDG. They also follow little instructions like leaving a poof at the end of their tails like a lion's or trimming a little mohawk on one of them. The owners are super sweet and very caring, juggling two little dogs can be tricky but they always offer assistance getting them out to my car during pickup. Be sure to call and schedule an appointment though, the can be booked pretty far in advance.

After mentioning something to the vet, they informed me it may be the groomers. Now that I've found Good Dog Grooming- I know they were right! This couple really does care and it shows! When I picked him up at 12:50 no bandanna or cologne. Not the first time they missed that. Makes you wonder if all the services were performed when you pay $150. Manager attempted to interject but kept interrupting me. At that point, I was checked out. He stated he would inquire and call. No attempt to fix it right then. It's been two and a half hours and still no call. I'll drive a bit further to the 1604 location or look for another dog bather.

They offer full days and half days too. They have little pools for the dogs to walk in, trees everywhere and lots of shade for the Summer months. They ensure all vaccinations are current so your dog will be safe and complete temperament tests before your dog interacts with the pack. My boy was recently adopted from the Animal Defense League and he was so scared. I am sure he never experienced Doggy daycare before. They were patient with him and loved on him as if he was their own. When he got really nervous they separated him and gave him some space. He is now a regular several times a week. They have great financial packages, offer tons of services and soon they will opening the area to wash your own doggies. So the pricing was extremely high. Not only that, my dogs breed is not to have their hair cut shorter than 1 inch. I specified this before the service and thought the owner of the salon would know this already. My dog came out with fur less than half an inch in some areas, the longest at half an inch max. So his under coat could possibly be damaged and not grow back because of this mistake. At such a high cost for a groom, I expected a better outcome.
