Today, 5/8/2026, was not a good day for Rocky at BnB. I really feel the staff fell short on their responsibilities from start to finish. Rocky, had an appointment to get a bath, and told her he might need nails clipped. I explained that he needed no clipping/cutting, and that there was only a patch of white on his rump that needed a few strands of black hair cut. Apparently, she didn't relay this and I received a text asking if he needed any clipping/cutting. The last time I had Rocky "groomed" there, with the same instructions, there were no issues. Also, when we had him "groomed" the last time we were told that daycare cost was less when grooming was involved. My bill on this occasion was @ $30 more (charged full price for daycare and @$58 for the bath/nail trim?, and cutting a few strands of hair). I'll be asking for price beforehand if we go through this again. What was more upsetting, is when we got home and found that Rocky was not given his packet of food, or treats or any of his dry food - he was there from @9am until @430pm. I called, and the reason I was given was there was nothing in the food bin(???). I handed Rocky's bag to the receptionist, and told her his food was in there (she even asked if it needed refrigeration). She obviously just threw it in a bin under the desk, and/or nobody bothered to check for his food. Needless to say he got home and went straight to his food dish. UNSATISFACTORY!!! read more

We started boarding our dog here, initially because the places near our house were booked up. Our dog seemed to be ok with it so we continued to board him whenever we would go out of town. During his initial stay, we were told that our dog was "reactive" toward other dogs so he was not put in the mix with the other dogs. During this last stay, he was reassessed and was able to go play with the others. He appeared to have a good time. I wasn't aware until just recently that we are able to check the cameras and watch our dog. That eas a nice surprise. The staff sent pictures of our dog and they even called to inform us of something that they noticed so that we would be aware of it and watch it for any worsening. Our experience with Blubonnet BNB has been positive so far and we will continue to make the drive from New Braunfels even though there are places that are closer to our home. read more

After moving back home, I always trust Bluebonnet to take care of my rat terrier for both doggy daycare and overnight when we're away. I love that overnight stays include daytime doggy daycare and 3 bathroom breaks. Reserving a spot for my dog 1 day before a holiday weekend would normally be impossible, but bluebonnet is very accommodating as this is exactly what we did this Father's Day weekend. Only suggestion is it would be great to have a bigger sign by the entrance gate, there's 3 roads to turn right next to each other and I've definitely passed the turn for Bluebonnet more than once lol read more

I wanted to post a review for Bluebonnet Bunk'n Biscuit. My grandpup Buck has been going there for over a year. He's been there for doggie daycare, grooming and the pet hotel. This place was a blessing when I was looking for daycare for Buck. The services they give are amazing, the staff is phenomenal, so kind and welcoming. Buck loved coming to this place. When I said you ready to go bye bye, he knew he was off to Bunk'n Biscuit to play with his friends, lol! We are going to miss this place, Buck is back with his daddy, my son. Went to hawaii for a week and always had family close by to watch my cat, Timothy. They all moved and I had no choice but to board him this trip. Was super nervous to board a 12 year old cat for the first time and for a week! This place came highly recommended and when I called to make a reservation I had a good feeling taking to the lady over the phone. Rates were very afforable also. I'm not happy with the service here and won't be coming back. The lady at the front desk was very rude when we came in to pick up our dog. When we got him they also sent us home with a wet blanket. When we got home it was obvious he soiled his blanket and I suspect he was in the kennel for too long. He's never had an accident at home and he sleeps in his kennel all night. Also the place seems to be severely understaffed. The website used to advertise web cams where you could log on and check on your pup but they just say it isn't working. If you decide to leave your pet here I recommend you take a tour of the place first and observe the animals and the workers. read more

My mother had called and made an appointment for my dog and three of her's. Spoke to the manager the manager informed my mother that only one dog needed more information on shots my mom asked do any of the other dogs need anything else she stated no only one.We show up for our appointment just to be questioned if our shot records were filled out by someone else other than the vet claiming that anyone can fill out the shot records even though there were stickers from the vet on the shot records indicating proof. Then to be told she would have to call to verify then tells us our dogs can't be seem because they did not have the coughing kennel shot. When my mother specifically asked the manager she did not inform her about it then just to be told our puppers can't be seen. Just a horrible experience after going there for so long to be treated that way and the lady that we spoke to just seemed to not even care or even be apologetic.... Horrible service horrible experience. Will be taking our business elsewhere... read more

I have been bringing my dog here for close to six years. The staff is always kind, friendly, and welcoming; and they treat my dog incredibly well. She is excited when we show up in the morning, and she almost always passes out for three to four hours after we get back home. My sister has taken her dogs there several times for grooming and was very happy with them. However, the last time we went we told them to cut them "short" - they shaved them! There is a BIG difference between "short" and "shaved". Thought maybe that was a one time goof so we took them back yesterday and while the cut was actually good this time both dogs immediately went outside and peed like they hadn't gotten to all day. Plus after we were home I noticed neither had their collars/tags on so I had to make a second trip to pick them up. Why would you not put a dogs collar back on them when they were finished being groomed and ready to leave? Apparently we aren't the only ones this has happened to because when the girl opened the drawer there were 8-10 collars in there. We will definitely be looking for another groomer read more

We take our little dogs here for daycare and they seem To really enjoy it. This is a review for the grooming side. We had a set appointment and the dogs kept being pushed back due to "senior" dogs going first. The grooming was atrocious to say the least. Looks like a kid that's 2 gets a hold of scissors and cuts their hair. Definitely rushed or had hit the happy hour early before cutting hair. The ears or tails weren't even touched. They don't know the prices either. Called prior and the didn't know, then when dropped off said it would probably be 35...should know pricing. These are puppies and this was first grooming experience. I also believe they were kept inside the kennel for the whole time because they both dribbled pee running outside as soon as we got home and dropped deuces. (They both take forever to sniff and spin). I wouldn't use these services again and would just say wait until camp bow wow opens. read more

We packed up early to make sure we'd be home to pick her up before they closed. WOW! the wound and yes it's a wound and is large and was bleeding and weepy Either she was bit and they don't want to admit it or it was a cut from fencing and if that's the case why is there something she can get cut on? either way this is the worst place Ive ever boarded my dog. boarders beware! read more
