We tried out this service for the first time today! Our "baby" boy has so much anxiety when we take him to groomers (even at the self-wash stations). I think because he hears all the other dogs barking. My husband said (I was at work) that the girl was really sweet with him and our dog seemed to like her. He surprisingly went into the van with no issues. 50 minutes later we had a beautiful smelling, handsome looking good boy all ready to come back inside our home. I am shocked at how great a job they did with him in such a quick amount of time! He didn't seem too stressed and also wasn't reeking of cologne. The prices are pretty high, but for the convenience, time and stress saved (for us and our pup), it's well worth it! read more

Untangled Mobile Pet Grooming - Looking fresh (notice the tail wag) - Pet Groomers Near Me

Set up an appointment for today and they just never showed up. No text, no update, nothing. Even called and texted them and they just never responded. Have legitimately never had something like this happen before and I've always used a private mobile groomer for my dog. read more

My dog doesn't like strangers, but Untangled groomers always do a great job with him. I think I've had 4 different groomers at various the last three years. Of course Bella is my favorite, but they do a greatjob. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the dates and times need to be changed more frequently like, but it's never more than a day or an hour - I do highly recommend them, things happen so I understand schedule changes. read more

Our poodle is a bit of a challenge when it comes to bathing and grooming. But Mel goes above and beyond to accommodate her. She ends up a perfectly coiffed little poodle! Would definitely recommend her and Untangled grooming. read more

I was unsure of mobile groomers, but Untangled has me 100% in! With 3 big dogs, it's not easy getting them all to an appt on the same day when I have to take them.. Untangled is very professional and friendly. I have to say, Alexys did an amazing job with my boys, she even got our old guy's nails clipped back to perfection (a really big deal if you saw how they grow it would make sense) I received a text the morning of our appt and another 30 mins before, as she was running just a little behind. She let me know again when on her way and upon arrival. My pups loved her! I'm so thankful I called them and will be recommending them to others for sure! read more

The groomer herself is great. Their scheduling sucks. Today for the second time in a row our appointment got delayed. Tonight was so late that they couldn't even groom my second dog, now I have to wait a couple days to see when they can get her bathed and groomed. Today they added a customers second dog into the scheduled and bumped me. Beyond frustrated with this company and we didn't even get a discount for the inconvenience. It's almost 9pm and my one dog is finally done, the second one gets to stay dirty I suppose read more

We are new to the area, so we had to find a new groomer for our dog. We decided to give Untangled a go, for its seemingly good reviews. Our boy got groomed 11/6/2023 , we got the text he was ready, and Aundria informed my boyfriend she "nicked" him (didn't show us where) and was unable to finish the groom because he was squirmy, and offered a discount for that. He's never had an issue with any past groomers being unable to finish, although we do understand things happen and that was okay with us. Upon my boyfriend returning home, we searched for this "nick" to make sure he was okay. It was a gash, that was filled with quick clot powder. Within 1 hour, he is already oozing and still bleeding. So a $95 + tip groom, is followed with a vet visit, and the most uneven all around hair cut I have ever seen. Regardless of a terrible hair cut, if someone else's dog seems uncomfortable in your care, or if your groomer feels hesitant they can SAFELY and effectively perform a grooming appointment it should be stopped. I would've much preferred to pay a small fee and have the grooming appointment cancelled, then to have my dog return to me with a botched hair cut and a gash on his neck. read more

Have been with them for years, and as of today will never use them again and do not recommend. The groomer that always took care of my pup is no longer with them and the new one muzzles pups who she thinks will be difficult. The office ignored a note on their file and did not even notify me that the girl who had been grooming my pup had left and they were sending someone different. This happened a few years back. In a day where we are focused on caring for pups that are rescued and have been through a lot you would think they would be more mindful and caring. If you are intimidated by dogs you have never even had. intact with before and have to advise you will muzzle them, then you are in the wrong profession. read more

They didn't complete the groom because my dog was nervous. First time this has ever happened with any groomer. She goes to the groomers regularly. So much for a mobile groomer being more "relaxing". Still charged me full price. Ridiculous. Now I have to take her to her regular groomer to fix what they left. read more

Scheduled an appointment for my little yorkie poo. They showed up when they said they would and my dog looks great and is much happier than when she goes usually goes to a groomer. The fact that she can be groomed right outside my house was great. My pup Looks great and smalls great. Thank you Untangled! read more

Did a fabulous job on our Airedale Terrier! She loved Dustin who was a pleasure to meet. Everything finished in just over an hour. Totally no stress for your paw baby! read more

I have now had Untangled out to my house a few times and the service has remained great. Bailey has been amazing and though I'm not super picky on haircuts (clean, happy, healthy is all i require), she always goes over my thoughts and/or expectations beforehand, and especially where pricing is concerned. The company texts when they are running early or late which would be really helpful, you know, if i checked my texts :) After their most recent grooming and summer cuts Untangled messaged me the date of their next appointment 6 weeks out, which was really awesome since I tend to forget. As always I was amazed at their scheduling, very easy to book an appointment on short notice. read more

It was such a pleasure meeting Dustin. We booked an appointment for our dog Suzy who doesn't like to be groomed. Dustin came to our house, sat with us to let Suzy get to know him. Then he took her in for her grooming. The experiment we had with Untangled was phenomenal! We highly recommend Untangled for your pet grooming service. Price was even less than your local pet services. We will definitely see them again! read more

SCAM SCAM SCAM Please be aware their employees DO post reviews to boost their false advertising.Scammers aweful terrible people!ok despite the fact she was late i told these people from the beginning my dogs needed haircuts I waited two hours an the entire time she gave them a bath an barely trimmed their nails. They will take advantage of you an Leslie had the scarf so tight around my terriers neck he was hacking that's abuse! When I tried to contact her supervisor she defended her her supervisor assumed I didn't pay her the first thing that came out of her mouth was you need to go ahead and pay my groomer I said I already did that's why Leslie was so arrogant about it because she did next to nothing for 200 $then her supervisor threatened me with a lawyer for what?because they scammed me an she protected her employee?Additionally added that Leslie had worked for her for five years. So if she mistreats a customer or animal her supervisor will let her get away with it at the drop of a hat.I wouldn't trust these people after today I'm disgusted with their behavior.here is proof I told them my dogs needed hair cuts.I would like to add Leslie even admitted after I paid her 200 an told her to cut the hair under my terrier paws which she openly admitted she did not do she then told me to make an appointment an I was still charged 200 this is wrong this is for the seguin an new braunfels untangled mobile groomers read more

One of the best mobile grooming services in town. Dustin and his staff always do a phenomenal job on my mini schnauzers. They come back clean, calm, happy and smelling great! I have been going to Dustin for over 10 years now, so when one of my schnauzers past away unexpectedly last Fall, he was the sweetest and sent his condolences. Next i will be sending my newest animal to him for grooming, my toddler son lol! All jokes aside, I will definitely continue to take my pets and future pets to him. read more

Such a wonderful, painless experience! The groomers were kind and clearly loved dogs. Our two babes were bathed and had their nails trimmed, plus one gland expression. They were awesome! Communication was wonderful and all through text which I LOVE! Then everything is in writing and I don't have to worry about remembering the details. They texted the morning of and asked if they could come early because they were ahead of schedule- which of course I said yes. They took great care of my dachshund and listened to what I was looking for- just a cleanup cut and nail trim. I didn't want a shave or anything drastic. He came out very happy and smelled amazing! Highly recommend this company! read more

My dogs are 78 lbs and 108 lbs but are well behaved and love to be groomed or it could be pretty awful. We live in a semi-rural area and I have recently had a kidney transplant. I just wasn't up to the hassle of taking them in to my regular groomer but they needed to be prettied up for our Christmas trip to my son's house. We called Untangled and the sweetest young girl came out. My dogs took to her right away and she did a great job. My doodle has wavy hair and sometimes it goes every which way. but he looks so handsome. She even put him in a Christmas tie. I highly recommend this company, UNTANGLED. read more

I have been using Untangled Mobile Pet Grooming for about 3 years now, and recommend them to everyone I know with pets. My four dogs love them, and they do an excellent job. I've went to other groomers before, and nothing compares. First, they are self contained, which is incredibly helpful. The team is kind, professional and diligent. They take their time and do it right. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

How lucky are we to have Dustin and his great mobile marvel (the bus) to groom our pets! I'm so happy to see someone who is customer service oriented do their job so well! I'm going to call a few friends and let them know about how timely he is, friendly and the consummate professional that we wish were behind every business! I'm so glad that he came to work on my babies! He is welcome here anytime! My freakin Labradors refused to stand up and he still happily worked around "their issues"!! Lol. My dachshund loves to nip folks and he "bowed down" to Dustin! Pets just know! And he is trustworthy. I'm going to be a lifelong customer. No more driving with pets that know they are going to an unfamiliar place. My kiddos smell great, look great and feel comfortable. Try Untangled for your precious pets! It's worth it! They wanted $120 to groom my Sheltie. What gets me is I even scheduled it to be at the same time as my neighbors to help them out. Was thinking price was high so I ended up calling Anna's Grooming (512-592-8727) and she did it THAT DAY for $55 and did an absolute amazing job. How is it that Untangled can charge over double the price and people are fine with that? Do yourself a favor and price check others. read more

I'm sure they do a wonderful job, and when I called to ask about pricing the owner was very nice. I have nothing negative to say towards them. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars...is for their pricing. I managed a Grooming salon for a couple years. I felt like the price she quoted me was over kill. I under stand you have the mobile and gas but the pricing seems unreasonable. Would like to have this convenient option! read more

These ladies did a wonderful job. They groomed 2 cocker spaniels both are 1 year old. They were a lot more expensive than what I normally pay at other groomers throughout the United States, however considering they came out to the house and did an amazing job I will use their services again. Well worth the extra money and they even gave my husband a nice bag of chocolate for Father's Day. read more

The dogs came back looking and smelling great and very happy. Great service to your door, on time and personable service.

Dustin cam out to groom my two pups. My female Emma I knew would have no problem but my male I was concerned because he does not do good around new people but especially men. We had to lift Ryno into the truck but from there Dustin did some magic. Ryno came out of the truck so happy and smelled so good. Dustin did an amazing job getting all the extra fluffs from Ryno. I no longer have to worry about taking my dogs to the groomers i found one that i will stick with forever. Thank you Untangled! read more

This grooming company is the best! I was visiting some friends in town and my schedule was kind of hectic but my pup really needed a grooming. They were so accommodating and really went the extra mile for me and my dog, George. Dustin was fantastic and professional and really made sure me and my pup were taken care of. I highly recommend their services and only wish they were in West Texas where I'm from! read more

It was convenient but dogs didn't smell as good as they normally do. For $150 (2 dogs, $75 per dog) this is less than average & overpriced. My dogs regularly are groomed 1 got a bath only with nail grinding while the other one got bath, nails trimmed & cut. NEVER PAID THIS MUCH! The girl did text me & tell me she was running late but still charged same rate. I'd rather drive my dogs to the groomer & know I'm getting what I am paying for & pay less. read more

Best groomer in town! I enjoy the convenience of having a mobile groomer come to my home and my dog seems less stressed about groom days. No more back and forth to the groomer. I wanted to update my previous review. The company did reach out to me, and were apologetic and trying to correct the information of the area they go to. I didn't realize they are based in Seguin. For that I want to give them a 5* for customer care. Specifically, Dustin, if you read this, you are a very special and caring person and that goes a long way. read more

Nope!!! I did not like this grooming. I tipped the young girl (Lara, I think) because I understand she's trying to earn a living, but I regret not taking my baby to Petco where his regular AMAZING groomer, Kirsten, is the manager. I was hoping for the convenience of not having to leave the house while my baby got groomed, but BIG MISTAKE. She was more than a half hour late and I feel like she was rushing the groom to try to get back on track. The first time she brought him to my door (25-30 mins later!), he looked like he did when I gave him to her. I couldn't see what she did. I told her to take a little more off and she brought him back damn near shaved completely. And I just noticed a cut on his front leg. He looks choppy and like he's homeless. I showed her a picture of what the other groomer does and she said she could do it, but NOT EVEN CLOSE. My dog was in pain from the cut and he looks like shit. He keeps licking his wound. Poor baby!!! So needless to say. I definitely won't be using this service again. Oh and for your info, my dog is a Yorkie, but this chopped up shit she did made him look like a shelter dog. Very disappointed. If you go to my review about Petco, you'll see a picture of what he looked like after his regular groomer groomed him. I just feel bad I subjected him to this crap. Anyway. Good luck if you try these folks. Hope it works out better for you. $70 bucks I could've spent somewhere else for sure. UPDATE: The owner, Dustin, called me to apologize. He also sent me a check for a full refund and seemed mortified that I had this experience. My original review of 1-star was based on the bad groom my dog had, but the updated review is totally based on the customer service after the groom. I don't think the bad groomer works for the company anymore, so that's good. Dustin also asked me to give the company another chance. He assured that he would personally groom my dog for free the next time. I was reluctant, but because he was so awesome to talk to, I agreed. I'll definitely let you all know how it turns out. read more

I love this company more than anything! I've been getting my dog groomed by the owner, Dustin, for quite awhile now and his care and passion behind cutting the dogs hair is wonderful. Even when he is not available he has plenty of amazing staff who has trained under him and provide the same excellent service as he gives. His care for each and every dog is so amazing, it's great to feel like i have such a trustworthy company to leave my dog with. After all, a dog is a mans best friend. I moved to the Kyle area awhile back, and I was so sad I wouldn't have them to come out to me anymore. But they just keep on expanding and now offer my area!! I would recommend this company to anyone, anywhere! read more
