She…read moreraised my waistline, added bra cups, spaghetti straps, and my bustle - the bustle is the only issue I had with the entire experience. Considering how much we paid for my alterations, I didn't expect for my bustle to completely fall apart by the end of the night. Within an hour of being married, one of the bustle loops broke. Thankfully, we had a sewing kit on hand and were able to fix it within about 5 minutes. However, later through the night, not only did basically the rest of the buttons and/or loops of my bustle fell off (without tons of physical activity, we didn't even dance at the wedding).. the clip at the top of my zipper broke as well which caused my zipper to keep falling down which was extremely embarrassing for me. Aside from these two issues, everything went great and Hamideh was very accommodating and professional.

I had mistakenly entrusted my dress to someone who was not only unqualified to alter it but also made several mistakes in the process. With only three weeks remaining before my wedding, I was feeling very anxious, and a friend recommended Annie. She was extremely kind, professional, honest, and diligent in her work. Not only did Annie confirm my concerns, which involved several areas needing adjustment, but she also identified multiple mistakes made by the previous seamstress, including the use of red ink on my dress--presumably markings for alterations that were not properly altered or cleaned. Annie not only completed my dress within a few days, despite a busy travel weekend, but ensured it fit perfectly. She successfully removed the ink and made all the necessary adjustments to make me feel confident on my big day. I am incredibly grateful for her help and couldn't thank her enough. I highly recommend her for anyone needing expert tailoring for a special event.

I made an appointment with the woman who contracts her alterations through this store. She was nice but way overpriced and it defensive when I challenged her prices. All unneeded was the waist taken in, back east that's under 20$, 12$ in the hood. She wanted 20$ plus 15$? I asked her why there was an additional add on and she explained how 'hard' taking in a waist band is. I don't think she realizes I've been getting that alteration done for 10 years and could do it myself if I had a machine. Won't be back to see her but the store overall is super cute and the Irish lady who runs is is very sweet.

Mirella is sweet and ultimately we worked out a more reasonable price, but I showed her a quote I had from another alteration place nearby that was $5/pair or $10/pair if they needed to be done by hand. I don't think she realizes you have to adjust the cost of the work to the value of the item brought in. Also, cash only.. no credit cards.
