Pearly Guyer is a gem in the tailor industry. She is honest and literally works 'magic' on every garment I bring in... From jeans, to dresses, to super fluffy adult one-piece costumes! She has incredible solutions to every 'clothes problem' I bring her... From taking in my dresses by 3 sizes to lowering my husbands inseam, Pearly applies her knowledge and expertise to everything she creates, adjusts, or embroiders. I will never leave her... IF she ever moves or relocates out of the country, I will follow her (it's taken FOREVER, at lease 5+ years, to find a talent like hers, gone through multiple tailors, seamstresses, and alterations places; honestly she is the best, regardless if you take my opinion or not - Go find out for yourself how amazing she is!). Tailor Made is a fantastic tailor for all your tailoring needs (despite being in a strip mall with very poor signage for all of the businesses). Was in for multiple mens pants alterations. 3 pairs were basic hem/cuffing, which was done for $13/pair. Another alteration, involving cuff + more involved alterations along the leg were fantastic (and ran $35). Turnaround time was under a week and the quality was excellent. The complicated alterations were not easy but were handled very well. Please take the time to support a local business doing excellent work! And do the small business a favor by saving them the credit card interchange fees....drop an Andrew Jackson (or several) when you're doing business there! read more

I'm definitely giving Tailor Made Alterations a 5-star review. This little tailoring place, tucked discreetly off of Manchester Road across from the Red Robin, is awesome! My mom first discovered this husband-wife duo when the tailor she had been taking clothes to started to price herself out of our market, and she turned me on to them soon after. Here's why we like them: very reasonable prices (especially compared to other local tailors), very nice couple running the place (the wife couldn't be sweeter, even when armed with many pins) and the turnaround time is quick (things done in a week or less). There really isn't that much more to be said except I will be certain to keep giving them my business. read more

Not even worth one star. The Asian lady is just a ripoff and a liar. I went there for resizing my jacket sleeves. When I went there to collect it, first she wasn't able to locate my jacket and then told me that it's with the drycleaners and we will be given to me a week after the original due date. When I followed up a week later she told me that the drycleaner has lost it. And all this drama just a day before my important event for which I needed the jacket. I had to make several trips from O'Fallon to her shop in Manchester, at least 5 times in order to get a new jacket. She also tried to give me a wrong sized jacket saying that it looks good on me when it was clearly oversize. To make my experience better she first told me that she is not going to charge me for any services but still took money in the end. Please do not go here. Very unprofessional, money minded, rude, liar and irresponsible attitude towards the customer. read more

The nicest couple in the entire world owns this shop. I dropped off 8 curtain panels to be hemmed and I told them "no rush." They called me the morning they were to be completed to let me know they were not done but I did not listen to my messages and went to pick them up anyway. When I walked into the shop they felt terrible that I didn't get the message and offered to deliver them to my house! Very excellent customer service, good prices, and great quality of work. read more
