I have to say, I was not expecting to find any bubble tea place in Watertown, NY, but while…read moreshopping at Salmon Run Mall my husband spotted Juju66 in the food court while he was aimlessly wandering around the mall waiting for me to finish shopping, lol. He told me about it and I had to check it out. I got a medium Pina Colada Smoothie ($5.99) with tapioca (additional $0.50). It was just ok. Nothing special in my opinion. My drink was smooth and not chunky or gritty, which I appreciated. It tasted more like a pineapple smoothie to me though. I barely tasted any coconut flavour. Fortunately, the drink was not too sweet. The amount of tapioca was satisfactory. Service was good. I think this place might be the only bubble tea game in town, so I guess it will do well for that reason. However, I grew up in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) where bubble tea joints are ubiquitous and competition is fierce, so I like my drink to have something special to it that sets it apart from other places. While the Pina Colada smoothie was ok and definitely drinkable, it lacked any oomph or anything special in my opinion.

Poor planning and lack of effort from the staff made me extremely disappointed in my drink. They need to have the boba ready when they open especially since that is what they advertise. I won't be coming again.

When we got there, we were greeted and sat at the hibachi grill instantly. There was one other table, with about 5 people, when we were sat. Our waitress was over within a couple minutes to take our food and drink orders. Within a couple minutes of ordering, my wife and I were brought a ginger salad and miso soup. The ginger salad was your typical ginger salad with crunchy vegetables and bright dressing. The miso soup was some of the most flavorful miso soup I have ever had, and it made me want a second bowl seeing it was a colder day. To start I ordered a spicy maki combo sushi, which consisted of spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, and spicy salmon rolls. The sushi came out relatively fast, and was very presentable. All of the sushi tasted fresh, and did not have that fishy taste that I have had with getting these rolls at other restaurants. After a little while, our hibachi chef came to our table, greeted us, and had us move to the seats in front of the grill, seeing we were the only two at the table. He started off by making sure he had the correct orders for us, and then lit the grill on fire, which had a very nice warmth to it. The chef did a great job putting on a show for us, while cooking our food! Our chef also had some good throws, when myself and my wife both caught pieces of broccoli in our mouths. The chef was also funny and squirted water into both of our mouths, from a bottle that had a top that looked like a child was peeing the liquid out . The chef made sure to tell us everything he was doing while he cooked our food. I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi with fried rice, vegetables, and 2 shrimp. The vegetables had a great cook on them, with that distinct teriyaki flavor. The steak and chicken were both cooked well. I was gladly surprised the chicken didn't have that dry/squeaky texture it some times can. The rice was okay, it had good flavor but seemed slightly over done. The 2 pieces of shrimp were good but nothing to write home about. Overall, we had a great time. Our hibachi chef was amazing, and my wife and I will be back in the future.

We weren't given enough spoons, when we asked for more they said yes but never brought them. We ended up sharing spoons.. We ordered drinks that never came and at check out were still on the bill we had to ask to have it removed. We ordered 5 pho. 2 adults, 3 kids. for the kids we asked just noodles and meat. instead we got noodles, green onion, cilantro, no meat. ended up picking out all the chopped veggies in their bowls. It just wasn't what we ordered but we didn't complain, whatever. the broth was bland beyond belief. we eat lots of pho, syracuse has a good vietnamese spot, but this place in watertown is pathetic. bland soup for a pho is inexcusable. Inattentive servers. we ordered bahn mi in addition, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. none of us finished our meals, but we didn't complain, we paid full price, we didn't want to be viewed as if we were just trying to get free food/discounts. once we got up from the table it took a solid 5 minutes for anyone to attend to us to settle the bill. it was not particularly busy. this was my 3rd and last visit. never again. no bean sprouts, no basil, no citrus, not enough spoons, didn't bring us our full order, brought us the wrong orders. spent 10 minutes picking out green onion and cilantro from toddlers orders. felt like we were working there. you can easily hit up the asian market in water town get a pack of pho seasoning and make a better tasting meal for less money at home. for the price, it should be good. it isn't. the hahn mi veggies are cut my sometime who has never had bahn mi. cuts of veggies like an italian pizzeria salad. cuts of carrots and cucumber so large they aren't even pickled.

That said- the Google reviews are stellar and that's amazing in any town. So, my husband and I are Ramen fans and it's even hard to find a great spot in our hometown of Tampa and that's a big city. So we were excited to give The Fuse a try! Wow! We were certainly glad we did. We each ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen with pork. My husband opted for the spicy version and 2 orders of edamame! You wouldn't think you could mess up edamame - but restaurants do. Not here though. The Ramen was DELICIOUS. Perfectly seasoned broth, delectable pork, perfectly cooked noodles and bamboo shoots- both dishes really hit the spot! The staff are friendly and preparation was relatively quick! You could tell this place was popular by the "revolving door" of take out patrons and DoorDash drivers as well as the folks dining in! Tonight was a pleasant surprise and we can't wait to return and try the sushi offerings! The Fuse is a must visit if Ramen and sushi are your speed. Don't let a trip to Oswego not include a taste of The Fuse.

I got a medium Original Milk Tea with Hazelnut Flavouring $4.30 and added tapioca pearls for another $0.50 ($4.80 total). I asked for half sweet and regular ice. I didn't really taste much hazelnut flavour, and it was still really sweet for my tastes (I guess I should have ordered quarter sweet). It didn't have a strong tea flavour either. Fortunately, it wasn't too rich nor too creamy. I didn't get that much tapioca, but I guess it was ok because I found the tapioca too mushy. The place looked clean and service was fine. I've had better bubble tea, but I've also had much worse, so this place is ok. Maybe other flavours are better. Shaved ice left a lot to be desired. Not a lot of flavor, strawberries did not look very fresh and the portion was pretty small for the price ($7 I think?). This place does get pretty busy because it is one of the go-to student spots for some Taiwanese food and bubble tea so do be wary of that. Service was fast and seating was comfortable. Would return to try a few more desserts or when I'm craving bubble tea although I have heard from some friends that they take a long time to make bbt.
