Red bean and matcha smoothie with tapioca, 5 stars!
Jennifer N.

A new bubble tea joint in Kingston - finally! i-Tea is definitely a step up from Classic's and comparable to GTA bbt. I'd recommend the pearl milk tea, matcha and red bean smoothie or grass jelly milk tea. Soooo yumz If it were closer to Queen's campus, it would probably get 20x the business it is now. But maybe a little grateful it isn't because I would go way too often! Like their FB page for great BOGO deals :)

Roasted bubble tea with pearls!
Lauren W.

Great selection of bubble teas and other foods! I was very impressed to see shaved ice though I did not have time to try it. Cute location, I like the decor and though I didn't have enough time sit in and try a lot of the items, I quite enjoyed the roasted bubble tea with pearls! Price was about average for bubble tea.

Took my sister here on a date. Thinking of enrolling in St. Lawrence College just because it's across the street.

I have to say, I was not expecting to find any bubble tea place in Watertown, NY, but while…read moreshopping at Salmon Run Mall my husband spotted Juju66 in the food court while he was aimlessly wandering around the mall waiting for me to finish shopping, lol. He told me about it and I had to check it out. I got a medium Pina Colada Smoothie ($5.99) with tapioca (additional $0.50). It was just ok. Nothing special in my opinion. My drink was smooth and not chunky or gritty, which I appreciated. It tasted more like a pineapple smoothie to me though. I barely tasted any coconut flavour. Fortunately, the drink was not too sweet. The amount of tapioca was satisfactory. Service was good. I think this place might be the only bubble tea game in town, so I guess it will do well for that reason. However, I grew up in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) where bubble tea joints are ubiquitous and competition is fierce, so I like my drink to have something special to it that sets it apart from other places. While the Pina Colada smoothie was ok and definitely drinkable, it lacked any oomph or anything special in my opinion.

Got there at 11:05 and the lady was like it'll be five minutes hold on! Poor planning and lack of effort from the staff made me extremely disappointed in my drink. They need to have the boba ready when they open especially since that is what they advertise. I won't be coming again.

Banana Splitz - Black Raspberry Thunder. $5. This is the one scoop.

TL;DR: Ice cream shop in Perth selling ice cream from Kawartha Dairy, Central Smith Creamery,…read moreChapman's and Wholesome Farms. They also sell bubble tea. My husband and I did a day trip to Perth as a part of our staycation. Before going, I did some reconnaissance online and searched for gelato/ice cream/frozen yogurt shops and Bananasplitz popped up. They just opened May 12, 2024, so was relatively new when we went in June 2024. They appeared to be the only place selling bubble tea in Perth, so I figured I could get bubble tea or ice cream depending on my mood when we got there. It was so hot that day we were there, and I really struggled with my decision, but when I saw they had a S'mores ice cream, I had to get it. The flavour I got was called S'more Galore and it's from Central Smith Creamery. This is a brand of ice cream that's not readily available in Ottawa so I was glad to have it. I got the one scoop in a regular cone ($5). It was tasty, but the flavour was not marshmallowy enough for me, lol. The ice cream was supposed to be toasted marshmallow-flavour, but it was rather subtle. I did taste the chocolate fudge ripple and the graham cracker crumbs though. I still enjoyed it though ;) My husband got the Black Raspberry Thunder from Kawartha Dairy (also $5 for a regular cone scoop). I was a bit shocked that he didn't get mint chocolate chip, his go-to flavour, lol. He enjoyed his ice cream, which is what matters. However, we can get Kawartha Dairy ice cream in Ottawa by the tub at the grocery store, including the Black Raspberry Thunder flavour, so when I'm at an ice cream shop, I prefer to get something I can't just get anytime, which is why I opted for a flavour from Central Smith Creamery. Service was friendly. However, the person serving our ice cream did not wear gloves and touched the cones with her bare hands and also touched the little chocolate piece she put on top of our ice cream with her bare hands. The saving grace, I guess, was that a different person worked the cash register, so at least the food handler wasn't also handling money. However, I always prefer it when food handlers wear gloves. Street parking only. (124)
