My drink was smooth and not chunky or gritty, which I appreciated. It tasted more like a pineapple smoothie to me though. I barely tasted any coconut flavour. Fortunately, the drink was not too sweet. The amount of tapioca was satisfactory. Service was good. I think this place might be the only bubble tea game in town, so I guess it will do well for that reason. However, I grew up in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) where bubble tea joints are ubiquitous and competition is fierce, so I like my drink to have something special to it that sets it apart from other places. That said- the Google reviews are stellar and that's amazing in any town. So, my husband and I are Ramen fans and it's even hard to find a great spot in our hometown of Tampa and that's a big city. So we were excited to give The Fuse a try! Wow! We were certainly glad we did. We each ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen with pork. My husband opted for the spicy version and 2 orders of edamame! You wouldn't think you could mess up edamame - but restaurants do. Not here though. The Ramen was DELICIOUS. Perfectly seasoned broth, delectable pork, perfectly cooked noodles and bamboo shoots- both dishes really hit the spot! The staff are friendly and preparation was relatively quick! You could tell this place was popular by the "revolving door" of take out patrons and DoorDash drivers as well as the folks dining in!
