Pista Falooda
Shamir W.

This time around we stopped for the falooda, which is like a milkshake with ice cream, vermicelli, basil seeds and syrups. So this review is just about that. The other sweets that they sell are still top notch. The falooda was tasty. The ice-cream was really sweet and a little soft for my preference but when you mixed it all together, it made for a very yummy and refreshing dessert. Definitely give it a try if you are in the mood for a sweet treat that's a little different.

I've been here several times but this particular visit was quick as I was just picking up some sweets to send to my sister. This is a go-to for South Asian desserts and savory snacks/food. I came in during Friday evening and it wasn't packed as I thought it would be. Add this to your list next time you are in this area.

Very disappointing experience. We ordered a small pizza but they gave us an extra extra small. Poor service -- not coming back.

.80 cent samosa

They dont honor their price. Online they have samosas for .80 cents. I ordered 100 beef samosas they charged me $188. When I told them that online it says .80 cents they totally denied it The same thing happened at Pak sweet but they honored their price and and charged me their online price But tahoora they never honor their online price and never respect what customer is saying

This review is based only on observation. The bright and spacious space was busy on a weekday evening. It is clean and staff was friendly. My friend purchased various barfi. I had a taste but I did not care for it.

Many different Indian sweets

Definitely my favorite spot on Devon to just get together after a good meal. When it cold outside you can come in here and grab a chai to warm you up. All three times I came here I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and casual dining experience with my friends. I was able to get some really good methai, which means sweets, and always got more than I really needed. My suggestion would be to try one of everything hahah but remember sharing is caring to why not take a to go order for a family friend or relative that is local. If you don't have any local family or friends you can definitely take some back with you on the ok the plane. I enjoy this police for the sweets and mainly for the chai, but they also have a full menu and kitchen, so it's not just about desserts. I can't speak for the rest of the food because I only come here for the after tummy party.

Mithai -- sweets

You can never go wrong at Tahoora's. My go to place for wedding and party sweets. They have a wide variety of mithai's (sweets). My favorites are the Kaju Katli, Mewa's, Halwas and Motichoor Laddoos. They ship it too. They also have savory snack items like pakoras, samosas, puff pastries etc. On weekends they have their famous halwa pooris till 1 pm. It's a must try so get their early to get your hands on these halwa pooris. The customer service is great.

Ordered a mixture of sweets and realized that there is nothing sweet, tasteless stuff.

Pista Barfi (Green) and Motichoor Laddu (Yellow)

I am a huge fan of sweets and Tahoora is one of the best place in this world when it comes to sweets. You have to try their plain barfi, pista barfi and motichoor laddu. They are out of this world. The golab jamoon and the jilapis are good as well so as the tea. You might have to wait in a line till your turn comes up. The people on the counters are helpful and nice. They recently started dine in and you can seat and enjoy these sweets from heaven! I try to restrict my visit once a month! Happy eating!

In the warmer months they offer outdoor seating so it expands the number of people that can dine-in. The restaurant is colorful and refreshing. It gives Italy in the Summer, it makes you want to wear a sundress and sip fresh lemonade. Food: During my visit I ordered the Arancini Porcini which a fried Risotto ball filled different ingredients. It came with two balls which is perfect because it made it easy to share. I also ordered a slice of the Sfincione Chicago Style pizza which is a Sicilian style pizza with Italian sausage, green peppers and mushrooms. You can tell they invest in the quality of their food because everything tasted fresh. Overall: I highly recommend visiting Sfera Sicilian Street Food at least once. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very cute. They don't have a lot of indoor seating so be prepared to wait for a table if you plan to dine-in but the neighborhood invested in a lot of community benches if you opt for a to-go order.

I doubt anyone leaves feeling less jolly than they did going in. On this visit, I started with the After Word to drink. It was light-bodied, not at all too sweet, and possibly went down *too* easily. We split the short rib poutine and I can't think of a better dish to get you through the winter. The meat absolutely melted in the mouth and the cheese was abundant and rich. Would order again in a heartbeat! We also tried the alligator bites as a seasonal special. I'd not had alligator before, but they were super crispy and spicy with an addictive gochujang sauce. It really does taste like chicken. If you've ever wanted to try alligator, this is the place to do it. For the main event, I opted for the red beans and rice hand pie. It came with a light, citrus salad and delicious hand cut fries with 3 dipping sauces, which were very fun to try. I loved the buttery pie crust but the filling tasty very tomato forward- I was missing the heat of a traditional red beans & rice and wished there was more seasoning. Still good. As usual, the portions were generous for the price and we left with leftovers. Absolutely recommend making the trek over here to give B&B a try, and will be back soon!

Then I forget for a few months, find another $20, end up stumbling across this place again and going "why don't I come here more?" This has happened three times. The most important part though- it's real tasty. Always. I'd say all of it, but I'm still working my way through the menu, but the burgers and Mac never let me down. The servers are always really laid back, and nothing feels rushed. I think it's part of the charm; somewhere to go and relax and take your time to enjoy the vibe. And you know what would help the vibe even more? Including the bread pudding on the menu full time. Keeping that bad boy stocked for me at all times. (This time was my first time seeing it on the specials menu and listen, it WAS special. So special that you should upgrade it to mainstay is all.)
