Went there yesterday for my birthday and it was sooooo good. The Tom Yum soup was to die for, may be the best soup I have ever had! The chicken satay was delicious and a generous portion of 4 skewers considering it was listed as an appetizer, creamy peanut sauce rounded it out. I took home half of the soup and half of the skewers for lunch today. The woman who may be the owner who waited on us was very sweet and very good. I will definitely be back. read more

What a great experience! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is simply fantastic. You place your order at the front counter and then have a seat in the many tables available to dine in. We ordered the Thai Dumpling, Tom Yum soup, edamame, Green Curry w/ Beef, Chicken Larb and finished it with some coconut ice cream. Everything was absolutely fantastic! Tried Tahn Thai for the first time yesterday (takeout). I ordered drunken noodles, glass noodles, green curry and Thai tea. The food was phenomenal! Super delicious, generous portions, tons of meat. Spice level 3 hit just perfect. The lady at the counter was super sweet too. It is definitely the best Thai food in the area that I tried so far. Great new place! Very clean and friendly service - they brought over some water while waiting for togo order. Waited about 10-15 minutes, very fair for the volume ordered. We got chicken pad kee mow and chicken pineapple curry, both "hot" level. The flavors were solid and spice was evident, though honestly we personally could've gone even spicier! Note that they do a mild-medium-hot spicy system instead of a more typical number ranking. The thai iced tea seemed pretty standard, nice but nothing that stood out. Our friends also got chicken yellow curry (medium), tofu red curry (medium), and mango sweet sticky rice. They loved the flavor and how hearty the curry actually was instead of just liquid! The one complaint was that the rice provided in the to-go containers was inconsistent, some had very little rice. This gem in McKinney just north of allen is awesome. The ladies who run it are incredibly kind and do their best to make sure you enjoy your experience. The pad see ew and the chicken In peanut sauce are truly amazing. They will make it as spicy as you can handle also. Overall amazing flavor. A wonderful spot that has become a regular favorite for us. We've had the green curry, thai basil, black pepper beef, pad kee mao and loved them all. What I love most of all is that the quality of meat is definitely higher than any other local thai restaurant we've visited. I typically don't consider beef as an option at thai places, but I recommend getting the beef dishes here. It's wonderful. In addition to the great food, the staff is so friendly and always helpful with any menu questions. The restaurant itself is bright and clean. This is located in a new and small shopping center, and it's easy to find. Highly recommend and we look forward to enjoying many more meals from here. read more

The inside reminds me of the Alley Noodle restaurant. Place is a bit more open and spacious where it doesn't feel as cramped. You order at the front, and they bring out your food. Fantastic dinner! What a welcomed addition to the neighborhood. It's counter service, so you order first then sit down. I placed my order to go. The owner was very nice and offered me a free Thai Iced Tea while I waited. It was creamy, rich and delicious! We ordered the Yum Woon Sen Salad. It had ground chicken, shrimp, peanuts, noodles and salad in a tangy lime dressing. EXCELLENT. We got the Pad Woon Sen, my go-to Thai dish. It had glass noodles, lots of veggies and chicken. LOVED IT! The Panang Curry with Tofu was sooo good! It had carrot, potato, onion and coconut milk. No joke, I wanted to drink the sauce! Black Pepper Beef was also really good, with a dark sauce that I slathered all over my rice. MORE PLEASE!!! Tilapia with Basil Sauce was slightly sweet, with onion and red bell pepper. WONDERFUL! And last but not least, we ended the meal with Sticky Rice, Mango and Coconut Ice Cream. It was the perfect end to the meal! The prices were very reasonable, with entrees ranging from $11-$16. We've had their pad Thai, peppered beef, Thai basil chicken, Thai basil fried rice, yellow curry fried rice, pineapple fried rice, yellow/panang/massaman curries, tom kha soup, mango sticky rice with coconut milk ice cream, and their Thai tea. They are all delicious and I get their Thai tea every time I go in because it's just so good. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, their food is consistently great and well paced and their service is always great and friendly.
