We have ordered Panini countless times in the past 7 years, for our sales and operation team's lunch. Today, we received our order excluding the rice. Turns out, not only has Panini stopped giving pita bread, they stopped offering rice too! No more is there rice and pita bread offered with your shish kabob order. Prices have soared and customers receive less and less. So when we called asking where our rice was, Panini charged $50 extra AND we had to go back and pick up, even after it was initially ordered. Not happy with their food quality either. Chicken was stringy and chewy, koobedeh was cold and bland. All 2 trays of chicken, one tray of koobideh and Panini gave two salad trays and forgot our rice!! NO remorse. No apologies. Wishing for the good days when food was fresh, tasty, hot and served with great customer service. So sad to say this about one of our old favorite restaurants which is across the street from our office. Hope they work on their issues. It has been an expensive day costing us $750

What's truly disgusting, though, is walking into the bathrooms and finding zero paper towels. After washing your hands, the only way to open the door is to grab toilet paper that's sitting right next to the toilet -- meaning you're forced to touch something potentially laced with urine and feces residue just to leave. This isn't a minor inconvenience; it's basic hygiene 101. Put paper towels in the bathrooms so customers and employees can actually wash their hands and exit without re-contaminating them. It's common sense. The "we're saving trees" signs you post to justify skipping them come across as cheap excuses that put cost-cutting over public health.

Came in today at 1 pm. I was pretty disappointed with my experience here. I ordered the chicken…read moreshawarma plate, and the portion of chicken was surprisingly small, just a few tiny strips compared to a huge mountain of rice. It honestly felt like the plate was mostly rice rather than a chicken shawarma plate. As well the pita bread does not seem freshly made but packaged taken out of a bag from a market. The hummus and tzatziki were also very watery and lacked the texture I expected. I tried the cucumber refresher as well, which was okay, but it had a noticeable tap-water taste that made it less enjoyable. What bothered me most was the service. When our server asked if everything was okay, I politely mentioned that there was very little chicken on my plate. Instead of acknowledging my concern, offering an explanation, or trying to make it right, he simply walked away. Why ask how everything is if you're going to ignore the answer? Unfortunately, I left feeling like I basically paid for a plate of rice. I was full, but mostly because of the mountain of rice, not because I received a satisfying chicken shawarma meal. Between the portions, watery sauces, and dismissive service, this was a disappointing experience.

The grilling was done skillfully, but I must say that due to the size of the actual meat chunks, my skewers were rare, not med rare. But, delicious and savory nonetheless. The salad was crispy with red onions, tomato wedges, cucumbers. It was under dressed but still very tasty. Also had the humus which was good, a bit more oil would be nice. My daughter had the Spanikopita appetizer which looked really good with a lot of filling. My wife had the soup that was very tasty, with dill sprinkled on top, cannot remember the name. The soup was steaming hot, which is how I like any soup to be served. For dessert we had a Baklava that was sweet, but so crispy it was a bit hard to eat, almost too dense and crispy-dry. Definitely worthy of a 5 star rating. Someone who is serious about quality ingredients designed this menu. I would enjoy eating here again.

Second, they used to make their own bread, but over the past month and a half "their oven is 'broken'". Finally, the fesenjan started out as balanced and full of walnuts and meat...
