I initially went in to treat a few small melasma spots on my face. After the first treatment, I pointed out to the nurse that my skin was looking worse and that I was concerned. She said "let's try another and go from there". Stupidly, I went along with it. I regret it terribly and are sharing pictures so you can see the damage that has been done. The first picture was in September of last year. The second and third pictures were taken today, 7 months later, after two laser "treatments". She never called in the doctor for consultation, and she didn't know what hydroquinone was (huge red flag for those who are experiencing melasma).

The follow-up communication was not very good and I was left confused about why they were insisting on additional treatment that I had not requested. My impression was that they were trying to "milk" my insurance provider for everything they could get. I canceled a further follow-up appointment. They then sent me a registered letter that was somewhat threatening that I was endangering my health by not allowing them to treat me. I did send them a response letter in which I agreed to one additional visit so that they could review what had been done. I specified how I wished to be contacted but, after several weeks, they have not responded.

Followed recommendations and booked with Atsuko, and she was amazing! Very friendly and attentive to my areas of concern. You get to pick your preferred scents for the massage oil, body butter, and body mist; I went with pikake and it smelled very soothing. The massage room was spacious, comfortable, and inviting.
