The front desk was so rude and treated me like I was a bank robber!! They initially told me they were running behind (not my problem) and that i had 5 minutes or they would have to reschedule!! They Kept looking at me, whispering at each other and made me very uncomfortable. I know good customer service is hard to come by at $20 bucks an hour, but again they should know how to treat people with kindness. I was promptly taken back for X-rays and Dr. Barber came and went over the plans for the surgery. I received phone calls and text messages notifying me of my prescriptions and instructions for the day of surgery. On the day of surgery, I arrived and was given great patient education by Vicki. She totally helped alleviate my anxiety by explaining what sounds or feelings I may experience during the procedure. The procedure took about an hour with the assistance of Mary and Vicki. Everything went well. Later that evening, I also received a text message following up to see how I was feeling. I have a follow up appointment in about three weeks. Overall, great experience.

I wasn't looking forward to getting the 'needle' but once it was over and numb, it was less than 5 minutes and the tooth was removed. Dr. Patel said the x-ray was not sufficient and he needed to take another one, a lady from the front desk came and talked to me telling me she had to let me know it was going to be exspensive, $175.00 but the Dr. needed it. So I agreed. After the x-ray, Dr. Patel came back in and said he needed 5 teeth pulled and it would be $3,000.00 I was stunned! Also that did not include todays visit. I told them I would have to see what I could come up with, I did not have $3000. They told me I could apply for Care Credit or Cherry, I did and was approved for $9000. to be used only at Dr. Patels office. Paid cash $300.00 for today made an appt for a week away. My Dad is 93 and on a limited income and I also wanted to check with his Dr. to make sure it was ok to do this. The next day after thinking about everything, I felt as if we were being taken advantage of. I went back to original dentist and told them what happened. He decided he would do it himself. Which he did and all is well. Another thing I did not like was Dr Patels office gave no breakdown on the charges just $3,000. I would not advise anybody to go here.

However, at the time, I could not afford the procedure as it was out of network for me. I contacted my insurance company and since no surgeons in-network were within 100 miles of me, they billed it as in-network, so I could finance the rest. I had surgery on Tuesday (March 25th, 2025) to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed (late bloomer - I'm 26). All 4 teeth were impacted with 2 pushing against my sinuses, and my bottom two growing along my nerve. My bottom left wisdom tooth actually grew to the point that the root wrapped around my nerve. I was very scared to have this procedure done, as I've never had surgery or been put to sleep before. However, literally every single staff member made me feel safe and comforted, and tried settling my nerves as best they could. They were phenomenal. When Dr. Bouchoucha entered the room, he had a calming presence about him. I trust his expertise, and his bedside manner was impeccable. I felt much calmer after he spoke with me and helped ease my worries. I don't even remember going to sleep, but when I woke up, I was happy and barely noticed I had even just had a complex surgery. Dr. Bouchoucha was at my bedside and very gently coaxing me out of sleep, which felt nice to be brought back so calmly and gently. My healing has been going well, and Dr. Bouchoucha even called me the same night as my surgery, after hours, to check on me. When I called back today to ask some questions, he was quickly available and very helpful with his advice and guidance. Overall, this office is incredible. I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else, and I'm really thankful everything worked out so I could go here. They gave me everything I needed for my post-op recovery, and even a few unexpected, but very appreciated extras! Everyone was thoughtful and considerate and was sure to make me feel safe, and answer all my questions! They all even wrote in a little card for me that I found after my surgery! Such sweet and genuine people. I highly recommend going to this office - especially for a complicated wisdom tooth surgery like mine! As another practicing doctor, I can confidently state that he has years of experience and knowledge(Dr. Swann teaches other dentists in the county for continuing education) and I am in awe of how much he knows about every single oral disorders and the latest treatment options out there. I have had a middle ear and cervical cysts removed and also mandible angle reduction surgery via total anesthesia by Dr. Swann. I easily get them, He took out two teeth, and didn't do what he said, I got a dry socket, I called him after few days of pain and was told he was not going to be in the office until Monday and they prescribed me antibiotic, nothing for all the pain. They said call Monday and they would try to give me some times to come in. Dry sockets are very painful as toothache and ear ache all in once. I called in distress after pain all week, now been 8 days. I was told their computers were down and they would get back to me, I could not believe they just didn't have me come and take all the pain away. I called another Dentist and they took me right away.
