Horchata and I forgot what the other one was but it's hella yummy!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Let me tell you, I don't really eat Tacos, quesadillas and such. But when I crave... this is HANDS DOWN one of the best local places to get your fix. The prices are affordable and Rafael and his wife really do a great job at offering fresh ingredients. They marinate their meat well and I gotta say every time I go to Oakland I have to get my fix. Pros; CLEAN cooking station Friendly service Tables to eat your yummy food Aguas frescas HOMEMADE unlimited veggie station for your food. (Zip Loc bags provided) Rafael takes card FRESH food all day long. CONS: (there really isn't any) The champorado goes out the first few hours of opening so make sure to get it ASAP. Foods that I've had from here: Al Pastor (AMAZING) quesadilla Carne asada tacos (the marinade is delicious) Champorado THIS PLACE is to be honest better than most Mexican food spots I've tried. Don't waste your time going to spend $15 on a burrito or quesadilla when you can get a good ass meal for under $10! GO NOW!

    Tacos!! Suadero, buche, asada, tongue

I was driving past this taco cart and decided to give it a try. The friendly man here sells tacos, burritos, tortas, and other goodies. I bought 4 tacos - uno de suadero, buche, asada, y lengua. All tacos were good, but the suadero and carne asada were the best out of the four. I did not see any pieces of fatty or rubbery meat and the flavors were legit. There is also a salsa bar. A plus! Stop by and support this man serving up good eats.

I knew it was gonna be fire when I smelled it being cooked, but when Jamea said try this before you go, it was confirmed. You don't ask people to try your food in front of you if it ain't fire lol. 10/10 flavor wise on both plates. Noodle portions are large enough to share but you're going to want to eat the wings alone; they're so good you won't want to share, so get plenty. All orders are to go, but you might just want to eat it in the car it's so good. And expect to wait the time you would for a one woman show holding it down (POP). It's in the deep East, and that is what it is, nothing more, nothing less. ESO ambiance - check. All I can say is you definitely want to try Try Dat. Located (usually) on the corner of Seminary & Mac Arthur in front of the Valero, you might just pass by this unassuming (but beautifully colored & vibey) food truck without thinking twice, and you'd be missing a true gem. The menu has a surprising, but not at all overwhelming, selection for being in a food truck, and Miss Jamea (The Boss with the Sauce) does not play at all with these flavors. Follow @try_thisbaby on IG for location or call to double-check before coming.

The chicken was fried to perfection super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The fries came hot and seasoned. I LOVE THE BOSS SAUCE. The hibachi noodles with shrimp were packed with flavor and had a nice smoky wok taste, and the shrimp were cooked just right. The portions are BIG, so come hungry! Plus, the staff was friendly and quick, even with a line of people waiting.

Best tacos ever!!!…read more I have had a lot of tacos in my life, this is the best. I can't stop dreaming about this place since I had it and I can't wait to go back. Card accepted at this location. Small parking lot. Outdoor patio seating. Quick service.

But since then and nowadays they have tougher competition that I prefer to go to over them and recently started to develop a hate and love relationship here. It used to be my die hard go to taco truck. This truck for me makes delicious carnitas burritos and pollo tacos. And a sleeper is the al pastor burrito and suadero tacos. That al pastor isn't made from the trompo but the seasoning and juiciness of their version in the burrito is what makes it one of the best burrito options on there if you haven't tried it. Carnitas burritos is super delicious because you get that nice crispiness of the fried tender pork with the rice, cheese and sour cream. I like to ask for onions, cilantro and tomato in mines for variety and freshness to cut the heaviness of the fats and dairy. Tacos I normally would get or recommend is the Carnitas, Pollo, Cabeza, Suadero, and Asada. Carnitas are as delicious as explained with the burrito. Pollo or known as chicken tacos are super tender and juicy. It's also very flavorful, and one of my favorite chicken tacos to get here because most places don't make chicken very well and are usually very dry. The cabeza is super tender and a great option. Suadero just like the asada is just a better version of the asada cut. It's packed with more flavor and seasoning than the asada and slightly more tender which is why I prefer it to the regular steak. I tend to find the asada more dry and sometimes tough. Recently the pricing doesn't reflect on the fairness of the portion size. $4 tacos but the meats aren't as packed. Felt like they started to skimp because of rising costs but has been happening before then. $15 burrito but the sizing isn't as filling as it used to be. I started to see more rice than meat. They've also started to be very stingy with a huge attitude especially the gentleman that works on the pick up station when asking for extra pickled veggies, limes and salsa. And it happens every time for the past several years now. For example he gave me 2 limes, 4 pieces of sliced pickled carrots, 2 slices of pickled jalapenos, 3 radishes, and 1 rojo salsa for an order of a super burrito and 7 tacos. When I asked for extras the gentleman gave me an attitude and said he already did and won't give more. Only reason I still go here is because it's close to home and if my favorite spots for tacos are closed for the night.
