If you come in within 15 minutes of closing, they will announce to you that "We are closing." We've seen it happen to a number of guests, who are wondering what they did wrong, to get scolded. The staff apparently feels, if the restaurant closes at 7 PM, they should be walking out the door at 7:01 PM. That would be nice, but that's not how it works. What this tells us is, there is a skilled Mexican chef, real home cooking, behind this place. But there is no management skill or discipline. That also makes me worry about cleanliness and sanitation, because if you have no principles and no guidance or leadership, you can't expect a staff of, essentially children, to perform as adult professionals.
