The food is insanely good! Blown away by the freshness, and flavors! Highly recommend you stop, and try it. I will be going here again.

Wish I could give 6 stars! Ate here last night and came back today for lunch before leaving town…read more Dinner was pastor street tacos and lunch birria burrito. Both meats were high quality and flavorful. Portions are big and nice atmosphere. Servers were both very friendly and attentive to my needs. Highly recommend

For $55 we got 2 horchatas, a small chips and salsa, shrimp taco meal, and the breakfast number 1. My daughter really enjoyed the homemade horchata, I like mine with a little more spice but it was very creamy, lightly sweet, and I would order again. Salsa was processed smoothly with very few pieces of veg if that's how you like it, the flavor was good, very mild. The chips were not homemade but also good for being the standard tortilla chip. The tacos are American style with flour tortillas, cheese, and sour cream which is not our preferred way to eat tacos so that's on us. If you like American style these were spot on. The rice was fantastic and the side of beans were pinto beans and not refried, also tasty but soupy. The scrambled eggs with carnitas were so oily that they were swimming in the bottom. Additionally the menu indicated they came with cheese and hash brown but mine was missing as can be seen in the photo (rectified immediately and kindly so absolutely not a complaint). The green salsa was minimal, would have preferred more as that was where the only real flavor came from. I wouldn't order again due to the oil. We may return and try again as the food was fresh, nicely cooked, the service was fantastic, and the place was spotless. We just like a little more authentic with perhaps different spice levels of salsa (little more spicy).

The rice and beans were not even warm, the Burrito and Chimichanga were lukewarm at best. They also charge for salsa and chips. The salsa had no flavor, it was more like just a bowl of crushed tomatoes. Even the cheap store bought salsa is better than this. Service was slow, it took well over 20 minutes to get our food after we ordered. It would be one thing if they were crowded, they weren't. We were there on a Tuesday at 2pm and there were only about 12 other customers in the restaurant at that time. So IMO, no reason for the long wait for our food. Our waiter was great, it was his first day on the job and even though the kitchen didn't have their game on, he did everything in his power to make sure we were accommodated. The ambiance was nice, however, their bathrooms were not clean at all. I would not recommend this restaurant. If you want really good Mexican food, go to Mangos Tequila bar and Grill. They just opened a new one on Wilder Road and I 75, Bay City. They also have one in East Tawas, and Alpena. They are family owned and have great Mexican food. Not only is the food hot, it is served on heated plates that are to hot to touch, so it stays heated through your whole meal.
