Sauce bar--red sauce is fire and green sauce is solid!
Eunhae H.

One of the best street-style tacos in the Norwalk area! Yes, they are still cash only but I'd go out of my way to pull out cash to get some tacos from this shop. Something about their meat and diced onions, salsas and grilled peppers--just take their tacos to another level for me. I ordered a couple of carne asada tacos and al pastor nachos. The nachos were packed with meat, cheese and sour cream. Everything here was so good and reasonably priced! They ask you if you want complimentary grilled onions and pepper (yes, please!). They also have a salsa bar so you can have unlimited access to their delicious green and red sauces. Can't wait to go back!

This always hits the spot & just a few miles from our home. We tried their menudo today (I prefer no Hominy) it changes the flavor. 6/10 also, would probably ask for a side of chopped onions without cilantro. Asada nachos are my favorite (no sour cream) w/pickled carrots, onions + jalapeños & lemon added w/salt! Tacos de tripa (doradito) & a taco suadero Not a fan of their salsa Roja or Verde Jamaica (hibiscus) Agua fresca is on point! Service is great! Ambiance is chill, with 2 TV's for sports to watch CASH ONLY!!!

Tacos Los Guerreros in Norwalk is one of those spots you go to when you want real Mexican food. The vibe is super casual, nothing fancy, which I actually love because it feels like a true neighborhood spot. The food is AUTHENTIC -- no shortcuts, no watered-down flavors. I got the tripas tacos and they were so good. Cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and honestly exactly what I was craving. The salsa is a big win too -- it actually has spice the way I like it, not bland at all. The prices are fair for the portions and quality, which makes it even better. It really reminds me of an authentic LA taco stand, but with more options. They have things like pozole and ceviche, so there's a lot to choose from if you're not just in the mood for tacos. I can't say much about the service since it was my first time, and it was just straight to the point. You order and you take your order to the table. However, I overheard the workers talking with a couple of regular guests; so it seems like they get to know their customers overtime. If you're in Norwalk and want legit Mexican food with good spice, good prices, and a chill vibe, this place definitely hits! THIS PLACE IS MY NEW GO-TO AND I WILL REGULARLY BE COMING BACK!

This is a cash only establishment so be prepared to ditch the plastic. There's a notice inside that they are one of the top 3 taco restaurants. They stay open late so that is a plus. The carnitas burrito was average tasting and nothing over the top special. My friend also mentioned the same thing about his burrito. They have plenty of seating areas to enjoy your meal.

An old local spot that serve authentic mexican food for a very good price ( cash only btw) . We ordered wet burritos and 3 tacos plate and a large horchata for $24 total. Place is unassuming located in somewhat questionable area but the food hits so it doesnt matter lol. The sauce and toppings ( onion cilantro lemon) is all self serve like other mexican places. Opens late and good staff. Will be back again v soon :)

I've been a loyal customer for about 12 years, and Tacos Los Guero has always been my go-to place for a quick bite. Every time I visit, I leave smelling like the place, but I don't mind because their food always smells appetizing. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and there was plenty of parking in the back and front. Tacos Los Guero offers both outside and inside seating. You immediately smell their delicious food when you open the door. This place is cash-only, but there's an ATM on-site for your convenience. I ordered two tacos de asada, one shrimp taco, and a cocktail with cebollitas and jalapeños on the side. There were about four people ahead of me, and my order took about 15 minutes to be made, which was the perfect time to get some extra salsas from their delicious condiment bar. As you can see from the pictures, they are very generous with their portions. The meat in my tacos de asada was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the addition of cebollitas was perfect. The shrimp tacos had about three huge and crispy pieces of shrimp. Lastly, the shrimp cocktail was served in a styrofoam cup, but don't let the size fool you; the portion was significant and had plenty of shrimp. In conclusion, this place is a must-try place if you are in the area and want to try some delicious Mexican food. They have a variety of food on their menu with decent prizes. I highly recommend Tacos Los Guero.

Tacos de carnitas y camarón

Muy buena comida. Me encantaron los tacos de camarón. Estaban bien limpiadas y a buen precio. Hay muchas mesas adentro pero se ve como que se llenara muy rápido por el espacio. Del parking no hay problema. Me gustó la decoración de los paredes de adentro, y por lo que vi, los trabajadores son respetables.

This was the first time I received bad burritos I had a piece of tiny bone in it throughout half of the first one and my dads burrito had way to many beans I wonder who was working today :/

Our friend brought us to this hole in the wall Mexican spot. You order and pay at the counter, and can dine in. Cash only. I decided to try the Burrito Mojado de Chile Verde, which I ordered with carnitas meat. JJ ordered the tripas plate which he loves, with a side of grilled Chile peppers. The wet burrito was huge. It was really good, except that some portions of the carnitas were a little on the dry side but was very flavorful nonetheless. JJ's tripas plate was very much something to behold--- it looked great. The only thing is that he likes his tripas very very crispy, and he said that they were rubbery. He said the rice and beans were very good. He took most of it home, and cooked them in a fry pan, and he said they were a little better. I also took a little less than half my burrito home, and thoroughly enjoyed it the next day. I would recommend not ordering the tripas, and to look at the guy behind the counter when he makes the burritos/tacos. There was a meat that looked very juicy and tender. I would order that meat in my burrito the next time. I would go again if we were in the area. Interior ambience was nice, and we enjoyed dining in and had a great time. Service was fine, although I had to remind the cashier that we ordered drinks, as she forgot to serve them to us.

I would recommend their barabacoa plate or their tacos with buche. My husband enjoys their tacos de chicharon. They are yummy! My daughter enjoys their tortas, she goes for their al pastor or buche. We've become known to the owner that he always gives us to try something other than what we've ordered. The restaurant is a little small, but that doesn't stop customer's from coming. Spots fire , its a little hidden behind a gas station next to a barber shop. Secret menu: if you love spicy like we do, they have a habanero salsa that isn't given unless you ask for it. My bf got a half/half wet burrito which they DONT make, so don't even bother asking for it because we asked if they do that and they said no. However, when they brought it out to us, they did accommodate us. That was a kind gesture. So A+ for that. As my bf said, we got "Yelpfished". We were born and raised in SOUTHEAST LA, where there are taquerias EVERYWHERE. I know a thing or two about authentic , Mexican, real good CARNE ASADA tacos. Unfortunately, this establishment did not meet my expectations. The meat was not carne asada meat. It was like flat milanesa meat. It lacked a little bit of flavor as well. Overall, I would not return and I can't believe the number of people that like this spot. Well, maybe just their carne asada sucks.

My boyfriend got the 4 beef taquitos plate with rice and beans for $18 and I got the taco, enchilada, and chile relleno plate with rice and beans for $19. The prices are reasonable given that the servings were pretty big. One plate can really be shared by two people. I had leftovers, mostly the rice and beans and half of an enchilada. The crispy beef taco was pretty good, but it wasn't that crispy by the time I got home. The chile relleno and chicken enchilada were really good, but the enchilada was on the dry side and was lacking red sauce. I thought the rice and beans were just okay. I had a few bites and was done with them. I had a bite of my boyfriend's taquitos and thought they were flavorful but needed to be crispier. They gave us complimentary chips that were the size of tostadas and two 2 oz salsas. There's an additional charge for extra salsa. I know because the man in front of me was agitated about having to pay extra for salsa. I have to agree that for each plate or entree, they should at least give two complimentary salsas instead of one. If I come back here, I'll probably order a la carte. The ladies working the front were pleasant.

Pretty worth visiting during happy hour! Service was very quick. There were also other few people ordering food besides drinks at the bar. Starting off with the tacos, the short rib was very nice! Very soft, tender, and flavorful. You can taste that they put amount of hours to preparing the meat for it. I just wished they added more condiments to the taco cause it was just cilantro and onion. I wish there was like salsa, radish, etc. It's kind of pricey compared to a street taco, but the quality of the meat was definitely higher. Also the mole tots, this was pretty good, although I wish there was more cheese. First few bites were pretty good, but the more you eat it, it does taste quite overwhelming from the black salsa. I wish there was also more toppings to it too. Overall, dining at the bar during happy hour was very chill! The bartender was also very nice and welcoming.
